BREAKING: Another attack, this time in Paris.
Three women, one of whom is reportedly pregnant, were attacked with a knife in the middle of the street. One is in critical condition.
A 31-year-old was arrested.

A young man on the street saw the perp running with two knives and began filming. Then, he shouted for others to help bring down the perp. He said that someone threw a suitcase and knocked the knives from the perp and he personally, kicked the perp’s feet out from under him. He and some others took the perp down and held him for the police.
There are still decent people in Paris. But the “internal ministry” guy said the motive was not known as the perp didn’t speak clearly.
The murderous scum has had a suitcase thrown at him; now the authorities should throw all of the books at him and never allow him to roam free.
I hope the young women, and the baby, all survive.

I have concluded this about Allah: This entity is either a total fiction, Mohammed’s hand puppet and all that, or if the Christians are correct in their belief system (and they could be) then Allah, if real, is either a massive distortion of the true deity, to a perverse degree, or, even worse, Satan in disguise.
And what if, for argument’s sake, Islam is the true faith? Well then, we live in a very creepy universe and God is a cosmic jerk. So, Muslims, even if your religion is the true faith, you are still losers for submitting to Allah. The only ethical course to take is that of a Prometheus, i.e., defying Allah, feeble though this will end up being, but nonetheless a noble effort in rejecting a malevolent God.
Now, I don’t for a moment think that Islam is the true faith, would literally bet my life on it right here and now, but if it is Islam still sucks. For all you Muslims out there, this is the difference between being merely ignorant v. invincible ignorance. I proudly align myself with the latter and which is my way of saying eff you to all of you (and to Allah too). Besides, I’m correct about your faith—it’s false and it sucks. What a damn burden Islam is to all of humanity—even if true.

Wellington, your comment reminds me of something Jimmy Stewart said in a movie (I don’t know which movie). Quote: “I’m either right or I’m crazy.” (there may be a little difference in the exact words).
I see a clip and hear him say it in ads for what tubi.com offers. I’m guessing that he is *right* and not “crazy.”
I don’t believe you are crazy, either. Which leaves “right” and islime is false through and through.

Thanks for your reply, somehistory. I have nothing but the greatest respect for Jimmy Stewart, who was not only a great actor but an American patriot par excellence, flying many bombing missions, dangerous as they were, in WWII (and I believe he ended up as a brigadier general).
Ah, if only Hollywood were still composed of Jimmy Stewart types but, alas, that is no longer the case. And so many other Hollywood actors like Stewart were total patriots, people like Clark Gable, Ginger Rogers, Bob Hope, et al. It’s a world that almost exists no more—but I digress again. And for the record, I would note that Jimmy Stewart was a Pennsylvanian from birth as I am. He grew up in Indiana County, PA and which county is not all that far from where I grew up in central Pennsylvania (Blair County).
And thanks too for your concluding you don’t believe I’m crazy. Don’t think I am and it’s nice to have support like yours sustaining this rather important conviction of mine.
And now back to a dreary matter, i.e., Islam. What a total downer it is. As I have stated several times here at JW, any good there is in Islam (not much) can be found elsewhere but there is a great deal of rot in Islam that is deuce difficult to find anywhere else and thus, at best, Islam is superfluous. Of course, if only it were merely superfluous.
Finally, I will state again what I have also stated many times at JW and that is that the world would be infinitely better off if every Muslim in the world would wake up tomorrow a devout Christian. Here I am certain you and I will have absolutely no disagreement. And here’s another area where I know we won’t and it is this: if Christianity dies in America, America will die. This was stated by a devout Jew, Dennis Prager, whom I admire a great deal but who has experienced horrible injury, as you might know, now being paralyzed from the neck down due to a slip and fall in his home in November of 2024.

As an aside, I actually saw a Red Skelton at the 1964 New York World’s Fair walking by GM’s Futurama II. I said, “Hi Red!”, and he waved back to me.
