The European Commission has now become an enemy of Europe. It has refused to register the “Save Europe Act,” which is an attempt, supported so far by 580,000 citizens of Europe, to end migration from “non-Western countries” — which is meant, everyone understands, to prevent more Muslims from entering Europe. The European Commission has refused to register the “Save Europe Act”, a European Citizens’ Initiative calling for a moratorium on new immigration from non-Western countries and a fundamental reform of the EU’s migration and asylum system.
The initiative was launched by Austrian activist Martin Sellner and Dutch commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek. Its organisers say it has already gathered more than 580,000 signatures.
The Commission ruled that the initiative failed to meet the legal requirements for registration as a European Citizens’ Initiative.
It said the proposal’s call for a moratorium on immigration from “non-Western countries”, including for study and family reunification, and its reference to the “ethnic and cultural continuity” of Europe’s “native peoples” would amount to discrimination based on race or ethnic origin.
The Commission does not believe that Europeans have a right to defend their values, their culture, their civilization, from migrants — Muslims — who do not, and cannot possibly, share those values, that culture, that civilization. It describes the attempt to keep more Muslims out as “discrimination based on race or ethnic origin.” But that is wrong: Muslims are neither a “race” nor an “ethnicity.” Islam is an ideology, like Communism or Nazism, and Europeans want to prevent the demographic conquest of their countries by those who subscribe to that ideology.
The Commission also objected to the initiative’s claim that Europe was facing a “demographic exchange” caused by non-Western and non-European migrants.
Why does the Commission object? Is it because that claim of a “demographic exchange” is false, or is it because it is true? There are now 44 million Muslims in Europe. More than a million now enter Europe each year. And while European fertility rates are, at 1.6, far below the replacement level of 2.1, Muslims in Europe have a fertility rate of 2.9. Thus, the percentage of people in Europe who are Muslim inexorably rises.
Under EU rules, a European Citizens’ Initiative must comply with the EU Treaties and the Charter of Fundamental Rights. The Commission said the Save Europe Act was “manifestly contrary” to the values of the Union and therefore could not be registered.
The most important of values is self-preservation. It is this which the European Commission refuses to consider.
The decision means that the campaign cannot use the formal European Citizens’ Initiative mechanism, which allows citizens to ask the Commission to propose legislation after collecting at least one million signatures from at least seven EU member states….
There is now a popular uprising in Europe, a demand that the European Union call a halt to “non-Western migration.” 580,000 signatures have already been gathered to support this demand. The bureaucrats in Brussels have rejected the effort. They claim that such a policy would constitute discrimination based on “race” or “ethnicity.” They are wrong. Islam is not a race, nor an ethnicity, but an ideology inimical to Western values. Now, as one of the organizers of this effort, Eva Vlaardingerbroek, has made clear, they will continue to raise hell — “see you in court” — with ever-swelling numbers of signatories to their petition. Europeans want to preserve Europe from those who would transform it. What is wrong with that?

The street-level pushback we’re seeing in Spain, Northern Ireland, and elsewhere is the natural reaction of people who no longer trust the state to protect them. Or even represent them.
The question is whether Western nations will correct course before the manufactured chaos achieves its intended result.

Sounds about right. I was impressed when I was there by the intelligence and common sense of the European people I met. Comes from a good education system and responsible media.

What would you expect from a supranational organization that is able to enforce its legislation top-down on countries that each have distinct cultural customs and their own historical heritage? Irrespective of the fact that those countries are bordering one another ?
Anyone who has ever traveled around in Europe, including Americans, full well know how easy it is to discern the cultural differences among European nations first hand :
The French are not like the Italians, who are not like the Spanish who are not like the Portuguese who in turn are not like the British or the Germans or the Dutch, and so on. That’s how easy it is !
The only real explanation is that the so-called leaders (primarily prime ministers) of Western European countries behave like the lapdogs of the elitist grey EU bureaucrats residing in Brussels.
The EU has decided that all these countries should be treated the same with standardized legislation, because our prime ministers have renounced the basic idea that our countries each have a distinct cultural identity and they have renounced our sovereignty as a consequence.
How on earth is this different from the USSR turning the screws on the nations of Eastern Europe after the Second World War, by enforcing Soviet Russian policies all the way up from Moscow ???
It’s not a coincidence that countries like the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland are resisting this push against their own sovereign interests, because they already had the “pleasure” of being ruled by soulless communist bureaucrats residing in Moscow for decades ! Members of the European Commission are bound by their oath of office to represent the interest of the EU as a whole, rather than their home Nation State.
Thus, each Nation State should declare their representative who has taken such an oath to the European Commission, to be a traitor to their Nation State and subsequently, persona non grata in their home Nation State.
Each EU Nation State should take the following steps:
1. Ban Islam in their Nation State via legislation or Constitutional amendment, to include a bans on citizens claiming to be Muslim, visa holders claiming to be Muslim and/or asylum seekers claiming to be Muslim.
2. Arrest all Muslims within their National jurisdiction and give the detained individual or guardian the choice:
a. permanent renunciation of Islam and an undertaking to inform to the authorities upon any Muslims in their community; or
b. if unwilling to permanently renounce Islam, removal of citizenship and voluntary relocation to another Nation State; or
c. if unwilling to permanently renounce Islam and relocate, removal of citizenship and involuntary incarceration until such time as either status a or b reached.
The world can be free of the evil of Islam. It just requires the will.
