Iran, trying to force the IDF to stop hitting Hezbollah sites in Beirut, launched 11 ballistic missiles at Israel on June 7. They were all intercepted, causing no damage. But such an attack could not go unanswered. The IDF then responded, giving not as good as it got, but far better. The IDF struck several targets throughout western Iran in retaliation for Iranian missile attacks on Israel on Monday morning.
The strikes come after sources told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday that Israeli officials were still deciding when and how hard to hit Iran, noting that a significant Israeli response to Tehran’s ceasefire breach was expected.
Earlier on Monday, a United States official told Axios that he did not expect an imminent Israeli retaliation against Iran. “I don’t think anything is imminent in terms of an Israeli strike,” he said.
Targets were hit in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, and some other places in western Iran, while explosions have reportedly been heard in Karaj, outside of Tehran, according to Tasmin News Agency, an IRGC-affiliated outlet.
Additionally, Iran’s official state news agency, IRNA, reported that all flights in Tehran’s Mehrabad airport have been suspended until further notice.
The targets include a petrochemical complex near Iran’s southwestern city of Mahshahr, which the military confirmed was used to produce unique materials critical for Iran’s ballistic missile program.

Unlike the most recent Iranian missile attack, that caused no casualties or damages, the IDF response has been effective, destroying both offensive weapons — long-range ballistic missile factories — and defensive weapons, including a large number of air defense radars that the Iranians had been furiously rebuilding-since their earlier destruction by Israel and the U.S. in June 2025 and in early 2026.
Stung by the IDF’s wide-ranging attacks, and after Trump called for both sides to stop their tit-for-tat exchanges, Tehran decided to announce that it would stop its own attacks on Israel, provided Israel stopped attacking Hezbollah sites in Beirut, thereby hoping to elicit the same promise from Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was unwilling to oblige. He agreed to stop hitting Iran, but with the caveat that the IDF will continue striking Hezbollah in Beirut as long as the terror group launches more missile and drone attacks against northern Israel. The IDF is itching to launch far more devastating attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, and knows that another attack from Iran will be all the excuse it needs.

One question doing the rounds is whether Israel managed to eradicate Ahmad Vahidi – the current IRGC leader. He was supposed to make an appearance at IRIB – their state media, but failed to turn up at the appropriate time. So right now, the status of his fate is unknown, which begs the question – who’s now running the IRGC?
That then brings up the secondary question – who exactly is the US negotiating w/? What confidence do we have that the people we are talking to are actually capable of delivering what they promise, even assuming for a nanosecond that they mean to? I wonder whether Trump covered, in “Art of the Deal”, whether to first ascertain whether the person/people one is dealing w/ are actually capable of delivering on their side of the deal?

Retaliatory strikes by the Air Force of the State of Israel, if that bellicose and hostile Islamic tyranny of Iran lunched missile or other kind of attack in Israel.

Israel has every ethical and practical right stop that aggressive and hostile nuclear weapons construction by bombing those sites in Iran by other means. Such nuclear armed missile production and other deadly weapons manufacturing stations in that antagonistic and belligerent “mullah regime” of Iran that intends to destroy the Jewish State of Israel. Therefore, Israel is right and righteous and just a strike force against that “mullah regime.”
What’s more the State of Israel should eliminate that aggressive and hostile Islamic regime of Iran that has sworn to completely destroy Israel Therefore, is a basic matter of self-defense.

The government authorities and officials of the State of Israel have a duty and responsibility to ensure the safety security and lives of the people who are citizens of that nation by launching retaliatory strikes against that Islamic tyranny’s aggressive missile attacks in Israel or be it preemptive strikes on the nuclear weapon manufacturing centers in Iran as well as other military and weapons places of the aggressive and hostile Islamic terror/murder regime of Iran.

Only the Iranian people can end the current Iran regime. The regime still has many muslims supporting it so no matter Israel hits it, it will exist.
Take a look at Hamas for comparison, it still exists. Only the Gazans can kick out Hamas, but they don’t want to do it.
But Iran may be dfferent from Palestine, as it has many people who hate the current regime.

The percentage of muslims in Iran is today 40% tops, if GAMAAN is to be believed. Within that, there are the so-called “secular muslims” who recognize that they are in a minority so don’t wish to wage a jihad against their compatriots but simply want to live an islam-lite life (it’s another story that such an islam is “my-own-personal-islam”, which is theologically irrelevant in their grand scheme of things). I think that latter group could be something like 10-20%. Take that out, and the number of die-hard Islamic republicans would be more like 20%? 30% tops?
I think that the reason that the IRGC attacked Israel and then the US plane was that the uprising within Iran was getting hotter, so they needed a reason to deflect attention from themselves. Which is why the Iranian people should take to the streets and take some risk: this won’t be a bloodless revolution like the one that the Soviet Union had in 1991

The State of Israel might have to fight this war with that “mullah regime ” of Iran alone , as without the United States as her partner .For its very sad but that President Trump seems to be beguiled, as in deceived , by those liars of the dangerous and hostile Islamic regime of Iran.
