UNRWA is trying to protect itself so that it can survive and resume the jihad against Israel once the media has gone away and the heat is off.

UNRWA’s acting chief, Christian Saunders, dismissed 70 staff members in the Gaza Strip on Friday over their ties to Hamas, according to UN Watch, a Geneva-based watchdog that monitors the United Nations.
UN Watch welcomed the move by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, saying it came after growing pressure from the group’s investigations and inquiries by USAID regarding more than 100 employees allegedly linked to the terrorist organization.
Neuer said his organization’s work helped force UNRWA to act. “Our ongoing documentation of Hamas’ deep infiltration of UNRWA, including the ‘terror network’ map we developed, identifying at least 400 operatives, alongside referrals by USAID’s inspector general, finally forced the agency to act,” he said.
Neuer argued that “today’s step is only the beginning.”
“For years, UN Watch has exposed how teachers, school principals and other UNRWA employees are embedded in Hamas activity, including terror chiefs who head their staff unions,” he said.
While welcoming the dismissals, UN Watch sharply criticized UNRWA’s official statement accompanying the move, saying the agency was trying to avoid responsibility.
According to UN Watch, UNRWA said it had asked Israel for evidence but had not received a response. The agency also insisted the dismissals “do not in any way constitute confirmation of the allegations” and were taken only for “safety and security” reasons.UN Watch said UNRWA’s current position, dismissing employees while refusing to formally acknowledge the reason for the move, creates an internal contradiction in its efforts to present itself as neutral. There is no legitimate raison d’être for UNRWA in the first place. It’s work can be done by UNHRC, just like every other refugee situation worldwide
P.S. “Refugee” is just a temporary state of a person once during their move. It doesn’t apply to lifetimes, let alone generations. Descendants of Balestinians in other countries eg Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, et al should be recognized as citizens of those countries, not Balestine or Israel

UNRWA should be fired but then so should the entire UN.
Farce never advances the cause of man. And few things if anything in our present era is more farcical than the UN and which its remaining in America makes a mockery of what the Founding Fathers of America constructed as a guide, a political blueprint, for all of mankind.

It must be remembered that when people alleged that UNRWA was infested with Hamas operatives, they were derided and slandered in the typical leftist fashion by the powers that be. As usual, after the damage is done and many people have forgotten, they admit to facts that people were demonized for bringing up. Being a leftist hack means never having to say you’re sorry.
