The madness continues. Now we learn that Israel had asked to see the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding before it was made public, and was refused. The MOU, both in what it contains and what it omits, affects the Jewish state’s ability to survive, yet Trump would not let the Israelis see it, because he feared the Israelis would at once object, and rally their Congressional supporters to oppose it. It was better, he thought, to keep Israel out of the loop, so that it couldn’t quote verbatim from the MOU. So he has kept the Jewish state, without whose military intervention the Iranians might never have agreed to a ceasefire with the U.S., in the dark. A whiff of Munich has come wafting from Washington.
We do know some things about the MOU. We know that the “deal” says nothing about curbing Iran’s production of ballistic missiles, which it has recently been launching at both Israel and the Gulf Arab states. It says nothing about Iran ending its support of jihad terror groups — Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen. Israel is not mentioned anywhere in the MOU.
Other facts has leaked out about what is in the agreement, and even those expecting the worst have been amazed at the concessions the United States is prepared to make. More on those new concessions, mainly financial, can be found here: “US commits to rehabilitation of Islamic regime with at least $300 b. in reported leaked MOU,” by Shir Perets, Jerusalem Post, June 16, 2026:
The United States has agreed to work with regional partners to “create a comprehensive plan agreed upon by both parties for the rehabilitation and economic development of the Iranian regime, while ensuring financing of at least $300 billion,” according to a reported draft of the 14-point US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding shared by Al-Arabiya on Tuesday.
According to Reuters, the fund is a private investment vehicle, not a reconstruction or reparations program, and will not include any government money or grants.
Companies based in the US, the Gulf, Asia, South America, and Africa have all agreed to commit financing.
The fund will reportedly assist in fields such as energy, logistics, manufacturing, and transport. Additionally, it is said to be entirely different from the sanctioned $24b., which is discussed in a separate point of the document.ocument.
So the US is now committed to help raise $300 billion in foreign investment in Iran. That’s a lot of money, far more than the amount of Iranian assets that the Obama administration unfroze. How many thousands of ballistic missiles, how many tens of thousands of drones, will Iran now be able to build with the amounts it manages to divert from that “investment money”?
Additionally, Israel is not mentioned in the MOU, despite the first point calling for “an immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.”
Israel, of course, cannot agree to this. The IDF is in the middle of its campaign to destroy Hezbollah, that refuses to disarm as UN Security Council Resolution 1701 in 2006 required it to do. No power on Earth — not the UN, not the EU, and not Donald J. Trump — is going to make Israel end its war of self-defense against Hezbollah.
Those tens of billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets that will be released are not part of, but in addition to, the $300 billion that the US has committed itself to raise, with its Arab “partners” (only one of which, the UAE, deserves that description) for investment in Iran. With that kind of money, Iran will be able to spend enormous sums to support Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, and on drones and missiles to blanket the skies over Israel.
Some of that $300 billion will undoubtedly be spent on weapons and weapons programs, whatever the Islamic Regime claims to spend it on. And of course, that amount of money frees up other sums, formerly allocated to civilian projects, that can now be spent on weapons of all kinds.
The Great Dealmaker has come a cropper before the entire world. But he is incapable of comprehending, or at least admitting, just how bad a “deal” he has made. Israel is horrified and will soldier on against Hezbollah, no matter how often Trump denounces Netanyahu as “f**king crazy” and demands that Israel “for f**k’s sake” do what he tells it to. The 85% of the Iranian population that hates the Islamic Republic is “shocked” at American weakness. But he regime in Tehran, however, from the putative Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian on down, can hardly contain its glee.

I hope that is correct, we will have to wait and see. I wouldn’t give them a dime until they prove their peace and it should NOT be American tax payers money.

Any money sent to Iran won’t go to Iran; it will go to the IRGC, who will use to rebuild their drone and missle factories, and their radar systems – then we’ll have to take them all out again. A better waste of that money would be to give it all to NYC Mayor Mandami, for his free bus service and his city run supermarkets

I don’t know how anyone could support Donald Trump after this. Any credibiity he had is gone and the World is a much more dangerous and unstable a place then it was a year and a half ago.
Of course he will play this as the greatest of victories and claim it’s all worth it so Iran doesn’t get a nuclear weapon but that’s far from a certainty and any agreement about that is in the future. Any bets?
He would be the laughing stock of the World if it was the least bit funny.

It’s very sad that President Trump seems to be beguiled, as in deceived, by those liars of the dangerous and hostile Islamic regime of Iran. It’s very strange that Trump doesn’t understand that any document for “peace” which those despots of that tyranny will sign isn’t worth the paper that It’s printed on.
A regime change in Iran is a vital necessity and likewise very important. For those so called “peace deal” with the disingenuous and lying representatives of that Islamic tyranny is a farce, a hoax and a smokescreen for further evil schemes in any peace agreement that the tyrants document that they might
This folly means that the brutal oppressive Islamic tyrannical regime will continue to exist. After Trump had had encouraged the Iranian people; to revolt against that horrendously oppressive regime , the by this so called deal’” Trump has in ,essence , had betrayed them ” Thump is letting the Iranian people down, terribly down, after he engaged then to revolt against and other overthrow that vicious death inflecting tyranny. That would be treachery on the part of Trump.
It’s also very strange, in an inconsistent way that not that long ago President Trump had had declared the leadership of that Islamic tyranny to be lunatics . Now, Trump wants a “peace agreement deal “those “lunatics.” Even the leaders who didn’t get killed in the war still have same dangerous disingenuous irrational menacing Islamic mindset as those former Muslim tyrant of that regime . Thump really did a flip -‘flop in that point.
Furthermore, just think about all the many cruel vicious horrendously malicious repercussions of extreme misery that those fiendish despots inflect through thugs in uniform, the IRGC on all the many brave courageous Iranians who fought so nobly risking their lives for a genuine government, which would respect basic natural rights for the people of Iran.
The Iranian people do have every righteous and just right to rise up to overthrow the brutal cruel oppressive malicious murderous tyrannical regime of Iran, and then they will be free to establish a legitimate, genuine, government that ensures and respects the natural basic human rights of its citizens.
The Iranian people definitely do have every righteous and just right to rise up together to overthrow that brutal cruel oppressive horrendously evil tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran. Then after that horrific tyranny is destroyed, the people of Iran will be free to establish a legitimate, genuine, government that ensures and respects the natural basic human rights of its citizens.
Has President Trump failed to understand that it’s best to finish the job, as in “Get it over with” which by eliminating that horrific tyrannical regime, once and for all. ?
As it had been, rightly and wisely. “Half-measures in war is madness and folly.”
That oppressive regime of torture and death need to be eliminated and replaced by John Locke type of government. For Mr. Locke taught that any good government has the duty to ensure the security and safety of its citizens. Therefore, the people under the bondage and oppression of a tyrannical government do have every natural and ethical right to overthrow that terrible and oppressive tyrannical government.

Naturally, its no wonder that so many Iranians were “shocked’” about President Trump turning his back on them after using so much US military force against that horrendously oppressive Islamic regime ,Then Trump stopped all progress towards freedom for the people of Iran only because of a meaningless farce of a “deal” with those disingenuous and lying despots of Iran. That so call “deal ” is worthless because it can’t enforced .
Trump by agreeing to that hoax of a “deal” with that horrendously oppressive cruel Islamic tyranny of Iran has betrayed the Iranian people who he encouraged to revolt against that horrific murderous dictatorship.
Just think about the severely brutal and cruel repercussions that the IRGC will inflect on the Iranian who had been bravely and courageously risking their lives for a free Iran . Then Trump because of that “deal” now ignores them. That is despicable.
Trump let the people of Iran down by this terrible “deal”. The hard reality is that Trump has turned out to be treacherous to the Iranians in Iran, and the Iranian people now living in the different countries of the West.
Mark Stang says
Trump seems oblivious to the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran has a fatwa religious decree calling upon all Iranians, and even further, all Muslims in the world to assassinate Trump. that fatwa remains outstanding.
ironically, Trump is ensuring that the islamo-nazis will have the resources to hire the best assassination teams in the world, skilled, determined professionals who will not miss, but who will also cover their tracks.
The islamo Nazis will wait patiently for a time and place of their choosing, even after Trump leaves office, as he will then no longer control his secret service protection.

Please explain why IRGC demonstrators in Tehran are screaming for the scalps of Ghalibaf (the speaker) and Araghchi (the foreign minister), if they cannot “contain their glee”?
Mojtaba Khamenei – nobody even knows whether or not he’s even alive. In fact, one Iranian commentator suggested that the most brilliant thing the IRGC could have done would have been to name a dead guy as the ayatollah. That way, they can pretend to be answerable to an ultimate authority, while in reality, making that ultimate authority themselves. Also wouldn’t have to spend even one worthless Iranian riyal protecting him, since he’s dead. All they’d have to do is hide the body, or even cremate it and lose it, so that it is never found, and becomes an immortal Elvis hovering over the devout imamiyeh followers
Masoud Pezeshkian – in all the discussions about what the islamic republic wants to do, his name is conspicuous by its absence. A few weeks ago, he demanded to meet Mojtaba, almost putting the IRGC in a pickle. They forced him to issue a statement stating that he had met him, & all was well. Then a few days ago, he offered to resign, since there’s no useful role that he’s been serving, and the IRGC declined, since it’s useful to have him as a figurehead that stupid foreigners think they can interact w/, even though he has no influence
This regime has been damaged beyond repair, and even if Trump were to convert to Mamdani’s sect of islam, he’d be unable to salvage it

Trump’s ” $300 billion in foreign investment in Iran.” is part of that farce of a “deal that will be used by those despots of Ir Iran to strengthen that hostile and menacing Islamic regime and further suppliers to the IRGC so that they will be able inflect extremely brutal viciously cruel repercussions on the Iranian patriots who bravely striving to have a legitimate government established in I that would have ensured and respected the natural basic human rights.

On Sunday June 14,th., Obama was interviewed, and he said the this new Trump /Iran deal isn’t really that much different that his deal with Iran.
Sadly, the tragic reality is that Obama , for once ,he spoke the truth . That Obama was terrible , so terrible that Donald Trump denounced it. Now ,Trump’s is is similar rather similar to Obama’s deal.
This “deal ” is a disaster , shame on President Trump.. of its citizens .

Qatar is behind Trump’s recent 180 degree turnaround against Israel and the Iranian people. Qatar will be investing close to 20 trillion dollars in the US – the same Jihadi source who funded Hamas and who has funded pro-Arab departments and professors and foreign Arab student scholarships in major American universities. Not to mention the disinformation coming out of Qatari-based Al Jazeera. The Israeli and Iranian people should never have trusted a president who could so easily be bought.
