🔴 JUST NOW – Mind-boggling.
Trump states that he put Jolani in Syria and Jolani should be the one sorting Hezbollah out in Lebanon and not Israel.

Trump falsely claimed that Israel is indiscriminately hitting non-Hizballah targets in Lebanon, and bizarrely claimed that Ahmed al-Sharaa, the jihadist president of Syria whose nom de jihad was Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, would do better at keeping Hizballah in check. If Sunni Syrian jihadis really enter Lebanon ostensibly to fight Hizballah, they will simply join forces with their Shi’ite brethren and both target Israel. Is the Qatari money really this powerful, Mr. President?
Victoria says
Qatari money is a red herring so you don’t figure out that Trump is a literal creation of LONDON.
He does as he’s told.

You’ve been on that hobbyhorse of yours for several weeks now, and it doesn’t even begin to make sense. Relations w/ the UK are at their lowest ebb since Britain, for probably the first time in history, declined to let the US use British military bases for the war unless first attacked, reversing policies of even Blair & Cameron, who supported US policy even though they came from opposite sides of the political spectrum of Bush and Obama respectively
In fact, as I pointed out in another post the other day, it looks like US policy on the Falklands could change in the next few months. Argentina has been a positive regional influence, inspiring a wave of Rightwing victories in Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia, which may go up to Colombia if Abelardo de la Espriella wins his election. Certainly worth getting rewarded by a non Democrat-socialist administration in the US. Otoh, you have Britain which is still as woke as ever, and a thorn on the US side, so Falklands would certainly merit a fresh look by policymakers at the State Department and the CFR
Which is why yelling “LONDON” in every threat just makes you look deranged

I am surrendering my MAGA membership voluntarily. Actually, I never had it, but if I did….
Trusting a Syrian jihadi to handle a Hezbollah jihadi is literally letting the starving fox run loose in the hen house.
This is Trump’s insult to Netanyahu. Could it be the Democrats are beginning to make sense when they refer to Trump’s cognitive abilities?
卐 Infidel 卍 says
I actually don’t buy Trump’s assertion that only he decides what is MAGA, even if he coined the term. People who are “America First” just have to agree on putting our interests above any other country’s: it doesn’t mean that they have to agree on our policy on other countries. There may be a divergence of views on Russia, Ukraine, Israel, India,…. but as long as everybody supports America above all of those, it is fine
Problem w/ the Tucker crowd is that they think that Jews are a bigger threat to this country than muslims, which by no means is America-first. For one thing, Jews aren’t trying to divide this country on sectarian lines, although too many of them may be stupid enough to be pro-Dem. But muslims are well known – and on record – as having said that they’d like to one day make this country a muslim country. That’s not something that other religious minorities – Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Rastafarians,…. anyone else has ever said or wanted. Also, while they accuse Jews of acting at the behest of Jerusalem, they have nothing remotely similar to say about muslims & their allies going around w/ Balestinian 🇵🇸 flags
Given all that, this movement has split, and I doubt that anything will put it together again
carpediadem says
Correction – Tucker et al think Jews are an actual threat.
They aren’t.
Muslims are.
Kosh's Shadow says
Well, Ahmed al-Sharaa might actually be better as they won’t care about civilian casualties.
Israel could have wiped out Hizballah long ago but if they kill someone not wearing a terrorist “uniform” at that moment, they are lambasted for killing civilians.
David Lakatos says
The president is in denial. He doesn’t have a clue what Islam is all about.
gravenimage says
Sadly so.
Beans🫘 says
I think he definitely does. It’s just that the world is a complicated place. We have serious ties to Muslim nations, we are somewhat tethered together. By keeping their oil sold in dollars, this keeps the dollars value at a level enough that we can finance a lot of our spending. And then, they funnel their profits into treasuries, and also the stock market.
America simply cannot decouple from that money. It’s about control as well. Americas superpower status is tethered to these systems I listed above, and it can’t lose it.
Here is the good news. Trump has stopped Islamic migrant invasion. All those garbage holes, Somalia Iraq Yemen. Etc. I don’t want them here. Trump has done things there. Would he do that if he didn’t know about Islam! He knows.
I trust Trumps judgement. He will manage our allies including Israel. Turkey is the country that will be a challenge in the future.

Abu Mohammud whatever – doesn’t follow the Geneva convention….they slaughter whoever they will, AND NO ONE CARES-let’s send him ammunition

In dispute with the chronic liar, sadly Israel put in the neck chopper in a suit jolani by smashing up hezbolla that enabled Erdogan to send his creature in. The only holdback to the final end time war is the piece of land between turkey and Israel. Trump wants to warp speed it’s onset ?
My only question for trump is why did he create this world ?

Did Israel really have a choice? They were being bombarded by Hizbullah and had to evacuate Galillee. Preserving Assad – a stooge of Iran – in power was hardly in Israel’s interests
It’s also worth noting that Ahmad al-Shara’a has been very careful not to give Israel any pretext to attack Syria, completely breaking off relations w/ the islamic republic. Granted, he’s doing that not b’cos he’s a new Anwar Sadat, but b’cos he doesn’t want the fate of Haniyeh, Nasrallah & Khamenei to befall him
That said, it was idiotic of Trump to say what he did about Israel vs Syria tackling Hizbullah

Trump says jihadi al-Sharaa of Syria would be better than Israel at ‘sorting out Hizballah’
……………………………………………….
So a Jihad terrorist is better at sorting out Jihad terrorists than our democratic ally Israel? Madness.
Al-Sharaa only hates Hezb’allah because they are Shia rather than Sunni–and because they represent a regional rival for power with himself.

If Trump was really serious about Syria being a better opponent of Hizbullah than Israel, he’s deranged. As Debbie Schlussel pointed out, it was he who kept pulling back Israel into an endless number of ceasefires, so that Hizbullah didn’t get completely eliminated
Even if he’s busy hoodwinking the world about what’s about to happen w/ Iran by pretending that he’s broken w/ Netanyahu, this sort of an asinine statement was absolutely not needed

It seems Trump is over matched as he seems to completely rely on advisors for info and how to’s in creating policy since he has very little knowledge of imperial Islam. It appears gas prices and popularity are more important to his EGO than truth and fortitude.
