A UN commission, consisting of three bureaucrats known for their anti-Israel animus, has just released a report accusing Israel of deliberately targeting and killing “Palestinian” children. This is, you see part of Israel’s genocidal plan to destroy the “Palestinian” population in Gaza. More on this grotesque report can be found here: “New UN inquiry: Israel ‘deliberately’ killed Palestinian children, resulting in genocide,” by Mathilda Heller and Yonah Jeremy Bob, Jerusalem Post, June 23, 2026:
A new UN inquiry said Israel “deliberately targeted and killed Palestinian children” as part of a strategy to “destroy the biological continuity of the Palestinians in Gaza.”
The report, “The essence of childhood has been destroyed: Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 7 October 2023,” was released by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry (COI) on Tuesday, covering up to March 31 of this year.
It purports to examine alleged violations and crimes against Palestinian children by the Israeli security forces since October 7, 2023, resulting in the death of “at least 20,179 and injury of 44,143 children.”
These figures come from Hamas. They were received unquestioningly, without any attempt to verify them. We know, for example, that Hamas has exaggerated the number of dead and wounded in the past, and furthermore, lumps together both military and civilian casualties.
The paper refers to the killing of Palestinian children as “deliberate,” and also claims Israel uses “torture, inhumane and degrading treatment, including sexual and gender-based violence, against Palestinian children.”
There is no evidence that the IDF has ever used “torture” or “inhumane and degrading treatment.” An assertion is not proof.
It is worth noting that the UN reports consider a “child” to be “every human being below the age of 18 years.”…
This age cutoff used by the Commission is important, because many “Palestinians” between the ages of 16 and 18 have been effective Hamas fighters, and can hardly be described as “children.”
Furthermore, if Israel is “deliberately targeting children,” and other civilians, too, why has it made such a tremendous effort to warn those civilians, including their children, away from sites that the IDF is about to target? Already within the first six months of the war in Gaza, the IDF had dropped millions of leaflets, sent millions of text messages, and made millions of robocalls, all to minimize civilian casualties. John Spencer, the West Point professor of urban warfare, having studied the IDF’s conduct of the war in Gaza, has concluded that “Israel has implemented more measures to prevent civilian casualties than any military in the history of urban warfare.” The Commission’s report does not mention Professor Spencer’s detailed report. Did its members not read it? Or did they read it and chose not to address his data and conclusions?
As Israel strives to minimize civilian casualties, Hamas, at the same time, embeds itself in civilian buildings, using civilians as human shields, and hopes to maximize the number of civilian deaths, ideally including children, to be used as propaganda against Israel.
The report did not address that Israel has over 3,000 preliminary probes and over 100 criminal investigations into its own conduct….
In other words, Israel is investigating every suggestion or claim made against its soldiers. No other army spends as much time investigating itself. But this, again, was not mentioned by the three malevolent commissioners.
The commissioners relied entirely on “facts” fed to them by Hamas. Israel was not given the chance to respond with its own facts, including all the ways in which it minimizes civilian casualties, and that includes children. Nor was Israel allowed to offer evidence of what it does to help wounded children in Gaza, by removing them and facilitating their entry into hospitals in Jordan and even in Israel. No mention is made in the UN Commissioner’s report of the 100,000 Palestinians (not Arab Israelis)s who have been treated in Israeli hospitals, nor of the 3,000 Gazan children who have undergone heart operations at a specialized facility in Holon, Israel. If Israel is trying to “kill Palestinian children,” it is going about it in a most peculiar fashion, by doing so much to warn them to leave areas about to be targeted, and so much to making sure that those with difficult-to-treat medical conditions are brought to hospitals in Israel, Jordan, and beyond.

My ignorance – how does a ‘UN commission’ get initiated? Who authorizes such and who determines the membership?
Keys says
Yes, maybe we are intended to be ignorant of the answers to your questions and mine. Who pays them, how much, and what benefits?

ploome,
Exactly – just the updated version for today’s Jew haters.
U N out of the U.S and U.S. out of the U N. Good money after a failed project needs to stop.

re those ‘children’… The mohammedans start teaching their kids to fight and kill from a VERY early age. It’s like the Hitlerjugend only much, much worse.
There are videos from within Gaza, created years ago and broadcast by Hamas, and which would be on record at MEMRI, showing crowds of people including numerous small children – kindergarten age – waving large knives and shouting murderous slogans such as ‘stab the Jews’. Haven’t the vicious fools at the UN EVER checked out some of this stuff? And don’t they know that ‘child soldiers’ are a well-documented phenomenon, historically and in the present day, and that child soldiers, indoctrinated and brutalised, can be some of the most savage killers … Children can be bloodthirsty little barbarians.. can be vicious bullies… every schoolteacher and parent knows this. In the western world, those proclivities are restrained; in the Islamic world … in places like Gaza, Somalia, Afghanistan… they are encouraged and praised.
Several of the Israelis taken captive and dragged into Gaza as hostages on 7th October 2023 reported that CHILDREN – children under twelve, children of primary-school age – armed with weapons such as knives, were among those who took them captive. One hostage, held in a private home of some ‘innocent civilians’ (sic) reported that a *toddler* had picked up a weapon … a loaded weapon .. and pointed it at her…

I looked up my files. Arbel Yehoud told ‘Times of Israel’ that while she was in Gaza – and she was sexually assaulted daily during her time in Gaza… she was ‘held in homes with families’. She was assaulted in those ‘family homes’ of those ‘innocent civilians’…”At one point a baby picked up a loaded gun lying around, and pointed it at her’.
If that baby had pulled the trigger, she would have been killed… murdered, by a child that was already – as a mere toddler – programmed to hate and to kill.
Also from Arbel Yehoud: “Palestinian [sic] children start carrying knives at age 7”.
Testimony from another of the surviving hostages: when he was dragged into Gaza, “At every stop, they would shout Jews, Israelis. Dozens of children **aged five and six* would run toward us with sticks and beat us'”.
His prayer at the time… “Father in Heaven, please get me out of this alive, and if You are not getting me out of here, then honor me and put a bullet in my head because I am not willing to be murdered in a lynching by children”.
Those ‘dozens of children’ … who could very easily have beaten him to death, and enjoyed doing so.. THOSE are the ‘innocent children of Gaza’ that the Pope and others were wringing their hands about??
Another hostage, Eitan Mor, describing how he was captured: “…eight ‘non-combatants’ caught me, some of them were children, maybe third-graders. They had knives, saws and hammers. Everyone together beat me with everything they had.”
I have no doubt that many, many of the returned hostages could give similar testimony; and that many of those who survived and witnessed the attacks on 7th October 2023 but were not taken hostage, could testify to the presence of children – not even young teenagers, CHILDREN – amongst those who carried out the attacks. It is possible that there would be video documentation of this… of children, YOUNG children, gleefully participating in, or watching and applauding, the commission of mind-bendingly horrible atrocities.
Our western reporters, those based in Israel, reading the English-language media such as ‘Times of Israel’, Israel National News, and Jerusalem Post, could easily have done just as I did, and read those accounts by returned hostages. Did they? Did they pay attention? Or did they just automatically discount the testimony of the survivors?? Did ANY of them.. those based in Israel and therefore not at the mercy of Hamas …. include that testimony, that information in their reports on the 7th October assault, and the Israeli response to it? I very much doubt that they did…

Did the three UN members count the Israeli babies, young girls at a Music Festival or the men and women slaughtered at their homes on Oct 7th when they created this vision of the IDF killing Arab children.. I doubt it..
These people seem to think that Israel is in the wrong for trying to hunt down and kill the very men that raped, beheaded and slaughtered UNARMED people.
