Where do we go now?
It was the late twentieth-century conservative pundit M. Stanton Evans who was the first to dub the Republican Party the Stupid Party, and the Democrat Party the Evil Party: “We have two parties and only two. One is the evil party and the other is the stupid party. I’m very proud to be a member of the stupid party. Occasionally, the two parties get together to do something that’s evil and stupid. That’s called bipartisanship.”
Indeed. And lately we have gotten a double dose of evil and stupid. The Evil Party has lately voted to send Darializa Avila Chevalier, a pro-Hamas Marxist convert to Islam who wants to abolish ICE and the police, and has so much contempt for the United States of America that she has boasted about using the American flag as a napkin. She also angered some of her fellow migrants from the Dominican Republic by stating that she didn’t put the Dominican flag on her social media profiles because she believes that nationalism is inherently “violent”; her socialist internationalist comrades, of course, have never hurt a fly.
Avila Chevalier is just one of many. Also going to Congress next January, thanks to the Stupid Party’s failure to mount any effective opposition, will be one of Avila Chevalier’s Muslim brothers, Hisham “Adam” Hamawy, who will become the first member of the United States House of Representatives to have worked for a group linked to al-Qaeda and to have served as a defense witness for a jihad terror leader.
The Democrats’ embrace of Marxism has been so decisive that even the old Democrat strategist, liar, and fantasist James Carville has had enough. Referring to the new crop of incoming Communist congressmen, Carville raged: “All of these people hate Democrats. Why do you want to run as a Democrat? Start your own movement. If it’s such a powerful, sweeping movement that’s got momentum everywhere, then go ahead and be at the head of it. Don’t use the Democratic Party to advance it.”
Carville doesn’t want to admit it, but he represents the dead past. Zohran Mamdani, Darializa Avila Chevalier, and Adam Hisham Hamawy are the Evil Party’s future. And if Carville were honest, which he isn’t within three thousand miles of being, he would admit that the soft socialism of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Old Joe Biden paved the way for the self-righteous, abysmally ignorant radicals who are taking over the party today. The Evil Party has been evil since the days of slavery and Jim Crow, and its socialist program started in 1933 with the inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt as president. Today’s Marxist Democrats are just the logical end point of the New Deal.
The Stupid Party, meanwhile, deserves some credit for originality. Everyone could see Marxism coming among the Democrats, but no one expected Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again program to become a blank check for the Islamic Republic of Iran and strenuous efforts from the United States government to establish the Islamic Republic as the Middle East’s regional hegemon. It was for efforts of this kind that Trump rightly derided Barack Obama, but now he has out-Obama’d Obama, and set a new American standard for cowardice, pusillanimity, appeasement, and abject surrender, all while keeping up an increasingly pathetic façade of chest-thumping braggadocio, insisting that the U.S. won and that the Iranians are begging for a deal, when all the evidence goes in the other direction.
We will be paying for the foolishness of this slapdash administration for a long, long time.
And so what’s next? Trump apparently decided to surrender to Iran in order to bring gas prices down in time for the midterms. He doesn’t seem to have reckoned with the possibility that numerous MAGA Republicans will feel betrayed, as well as alarmed at the emboldening and empowerment of a regime that still screams “Death to America.” Many of them aren’t going to be so enthusiastic about going to the polls as they might have been.
Then Trump will likely have to deal with a Democrat House and Senate, with its newly enlarged contingent of Marxists, Muslims, and Marxist Muslims. He’ll be impeached again, maybe two or three times, and his program will be thoroughly hamstrung. In light of his extraordinary and unexpected betrayal of the Iranian people, maybe that won’t be altogether a bad thing. We can hope. But when our choice is between the Evil Party and the Stupid Party, the American people are getting crushed in between.

I believe both parties are simultaneously foolish and evil. Republican President George W. Bush proved himself to be the epitome of foolishness, evil, deceit, and stupidity when he toppled the regime of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, who stood as a bulwark against the Iranian regime, under the false pretext that he possessed weapons of mass destruction.

The basic choice in politics is between Individualism and Collectivism. Individualism says that each person has inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by any other man, group or collective. Collectivism says that there are no individual rights and that the individual’s life belongs to the collective. As Ayn Rand pointed out in Textbook of Americanism (1946 FEE), individual rights are a barrier for protecting the individual from the collective.
It’s good that you and some others can make very informed and critical comments about the left or Trump, but none of you are advocating the principles of Individualism and Individual Rights. You need to challenge the collectivism of the left and make the case for Individualism and capitalism. (See also, Man’s Rights by Ayn Rand.)

Horatio: I agree with you about individualism v. collectivism, as I do with Ayn Rand on this most important matter, but I disagree with you about no one here at JW advocating for the imperatively important issue of individual rights.
Many here at JW have done so for years, including Robert Spencer himself, Hugh Fitzgerald, gravenimage, James Lincoln, Infidel, Westman, somehistory, tim gallagher, John Smith and a score of others, including yours truly. Indeed, the very existence of Jihad Watch is based on the principle of individual rights overriding any kind of collectivism.

Have any of you given a specific definition of Individualism? Have you or can you give philosophical arguments defining what a right is why individual rights are not possible without property rights? Have you explained what Ayn Rand meant when she said that, “The most profoundly revolutionary achievement of the United States of America was the subordination of society to moral law”?
I’m saying that these concepts have to be made specific and defined and defended again and again.
The writings of Ayn Rand are the best source of the philosophical knowledge for this.

I tried to convey this to you but to no avail.
You keep weaving while making accusations. For example, that no one here seems to understand that individual rights are not possible without property rights. This is quite true (as Thomas Jefferson observed, where there is no private property there is no freedom) but you assume all those who have posted here don’t grasp this, only you. It’s sheer arrogance on your part to assert this. What? You think all others here, including Robert Spencer, are dense and you only are enlightened? Ugh.

bo lied and said that ‘America is a large ***muzlim*** country.’ It wasn’t then when he lied, and it isn’t now.
However, it seems to be on the way (which was his plan) with so many muzzlims being elected to hold public office.
In the House and Senate, as most people know, Laws are made which the rest of us serfs are expected to follow, to obey, even if it means we must spend more money to be compliant.
muzzlims want to make the Laws for Americans to follow. Texas Reps and others have been trying to make sure that the immoral *code* of islime is **never** the Law here. Too many fools like j raskin, aoc, and others are fighting to keep the possibility of one day having to live under that immoral slime, open.
The muzzlims running for office, the muzzlims funding the running and those voting for the muzzlims, are working to make sure they can one day totally rule over us with their evil slime.
Any one who wants that evil to rule over us, is also evil. and in my opinion, evil is stupid.

This coming Independence day, our 250th anniversary, I am not so much going to celebrate as I will be mourning in silent rage. Anyone who was 12 or older in 1976, our 200th anniversary, can see the huge difference in our country. Back in 76 the overwhelming majority loved the country. 50 years later we see a substantial number of people here that hate the country and they all joined the democrat party.
Yes it is the Evil Party and the Stupid Party but the Stupid Party is littered with assistant democrats. That should be no big surprise as they are the Stupid Party. Since 76, if the Evil Party and the Stupid Party had imported America hating enemy combatants from around the world they couldn’t have done a better job of destroying our country. I try not to hate but when it comes to the Evil Party and the Stupid Party I cannot not hate them enough.
This 250th I have come to the full realization that we are already in a Civil War. It is a Cold Civil War but nevertheless a Civil War. Look no further than Washington DC to identify the primary culprit in the destruction of the USA. I certainly wouldn’t lose any sleep if all that are and have been involved suffered a terrible fate.

Voting for the anti-American democrat islamic regime because the islamic regime isn’t toppled. If that were to occur as a result of the islamic regime issue the people of the USA deserve to lose their country.
Personally I dont believe it. People have and are noticing the crazy the democrats have become and will vote against them but those people are keeping silent about that. Some are freaking out about what happened in NYC but I am not. NYC does not represent the country although they think they do.

The Tucker wing will sit it out b’cos Trump sided w/ Israel, while the anti-islamic wing will sit it out b’cos Trump not only did the MOU, but also pressurized Israel into stopping, leaving the Iranian people high & dry
Usually, in an election, particularly in this country, one has to give people reasons to vote for the candidates to inspire them. That’s hard to do when the GOP has alienated people on both sides for either reason. As I have noted previously, neither side has the numbers to trounce the Dems on their own, but each side has the numbers to deny the GOP outright victories
That’s why I’m quite pessimistic, unless the islamic regime in Iran can be toppled by October: that would signal the end of our adventures in the region (assuming that we do something about Turkey’s belligerence as well)
