Muslims beating Christians at refugee camps has long been a major issue. It’s particularly sickening when it happens inside a church trying to help Muslim refugees, but it’s a demonstration of Sharia supremacism on display.
The penalty for apostasy (as well as blasphemy) in Islamic law is death, and all too many individual Muslims are ready and willing to take the enforcement of Sharia into their own hands. Haron was beaten, but it could have been worse, as he wasn’t killed.
Christians are in danger in refugee camps where Muslims are also located. There’s a reason why Muslims have dominated refugee camps as they continued to invade the EU. These reports are examples of Muslim bullying at camps during the height of the Syrian refugee crisis.

And while the Western world has been duped repeatedly into buying into the “Islamophobia” subterfuge, Christians and other minorities continue to be the true victims of aggressive jihadists and Sharia supremacists.
“Muslims Assault Sudanese Christian in Refugee Camp Church,” International Christian Concern, June 15, 2026:
A group of Muslims recently entered Drake Haron’s church inside the Gorom Refugee Camp in South Sudan and assaulted him. Haron has expected such violence since he left Islam to follow Jesus.
The attack, which occurred on May 28, violated the sense of peace within the small refugee church.
Haron, a Sudanese Christian living in displacement at Gorom Refugee Camp, was assaulted within the walls of his church, a space that for this community represents not only spiritual refuge but one of the last remaining structures of safety, dignity, and communal identity in an already deeply vulnerable context.
“For me, being a Christian is a privilege,” Haron said. “That Jesus had to die for my sins for me to be saved means a lot to me. Based on that reality, I have chosen to follow him and to do his will, which is preaching the gospel.”
The perpetrators remain unidentified. The attack was unprovoked and carried out in what should have been, by every standard of human decency and international norms, a protected space.
For persecuted and displaced Christians, the church is not merely a building. It is the last standing institution of hope. It is where trauma is processed, where the displaced find brotherhood, and where faith is kept alive against overwhelming odds.
When violence enters a sacred space, it does not wound one person — it wounds an entire body of believers. It signals to a vulnerable community that nowhere is safe. Haron, however, expected to encounter violence when he left Islam to follow Christ….

“Christianity is not the creed of Asia and Africa today, solely because the seventh-century Christians of Asia and Africa had trained themselves not to fight, whereas the Moslems were trained to fight.
Christianity has been saved in Europe, solely because the peoples of Europe have fought to date. If the peoples of Europe in the seventh and eighth centuries, and on up to and including the seventeenth century, had not possessed a military equality with, and gradually a growing superiority over, the Mohammedans who invaded Europe, Europe would have been at this moment Mohammedan and the Christian religion would have been exterminated!
Wherever the Mohammedans had complete sway, wherever the Christians had been unable to resist them by the sword, and Christianity has ultimately disappeared. From the hammer of Charles Martel to the sword of John III Sobieski, Christianity owed its safety in Europe to the fact that it was able to show that it could and would fight as well as the Mohammedan aggressors.
The Civilization of Europe, America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand exists today only by virtue of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization; victories through the centuries from Martel in the eighth century and those of Sobieski in the seventeenth century. During the thousand years that included the careers of the Frankish soldier and the Polish King, the Christians of Asia and Africa proved unable to wage successful war with the Moslem conquerors, and, in consequence, Christianity has practically vanished from the two continents, and today, nobody can find in them any ‘social values’ whatsoever, in the sense in which we use the words, so far as the sphere of Mohammedan influences are concerned.
There are such ‘social values’ today in Europe, America, Canada, Australia, and NZ only because during those thousand years, the Christians of Europe possessed the warlike power to do what the Christians of Asia and Africa had failed to do — that is, to beat back the Moslem invaders.” — Teddy Roosevelt, former POTUS

I pray he stands “solid in the Faith.” Jesus will reward those who stand firm.
There are many rewards when one follows Christ. The ultimate reward, “everlasting Life” will make all of the suffering as if it never was, totally forgotten.
Stand firm, Mr. Haron. “Oppose the devil and he will flee from you.”

Granted this was Sudan, so the Muslims probably just barged in, but churches in general should just ban non-Christians from entry
Problem solved

The love and peace of Islam shown loud and clear. They want control of everyone and love no one.

Islam keeps thinking that if they make a sufficiently horrific example of enough apostates, people will stop walking out on Allah. It isn’t working, and never will. One imam has bemoaned an “avalanche of apostasy” due to internet access which exposes the inconsistencies of Islam – see Dr David Wood’s Youtube videos on this topic.
