The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a Marxist smear machine that savages its opponents with baseless and damaging smears. This same organization has been publicly disgraced, and is now showing its true face. A federal grand jury in Alabama indicted the SPLC in Alabama in April on “federal fraud charges alleging it improperly raised millions of dollars to secretly pay leaders of the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups for inside information.”

defrauded donors by using their money to fund the very extremism it claimed to be fighting, with more than $3 million paid to informants through a now-defunct program to infiltrate white supremacist and other extremist groups. Prosecutors allege some of the money was used by extremists to carry out other crimes…
Yet the leader of this nefarious organization, Bryan Fair, continues to smear Turning Point USA “as an extremist organization.” During questioning from Republican congressmen, he maintained a bold front despite his inability to reply. Fox News posted a report:

Southern Poverty Law Center head Bryan Fair defended the left-wing organization’s decision to list mainstream conservative groups on its “hate map” during a fiery hearing Tuesday.
Fair, SPLC’s interim executive, doubled down on the group’s designation of Turning Point USA, a conservative activist organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, as extremist when pressed by GOP lawmakers. Turning Point was listed alongside White supremacist and neo-Nazi groups in the law center’s 2025 “Year in Hate & Extremism” report released Tuesday.
The exchange comes as Republicans scrutinize the law center’s close ties to the Biden administration amid the Department of Justice’s pending criminal case against the nonprofit over alleged financial crimes.
“Will you recant it, or are you going to double down and say that these people, including the martyred Charlie Kirk, in fact, somehow deserve to be on your hate list?” Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., asked Fair.
“Congressman, as I said in my statement,” Fair began answering, referring to his opening remarks in which he said he could not address certain topics due to the ongoing criminal probe….

The SPLC will get its comeuppance when the criminal indictments result in conviction. Loss if their 501(c) (3) status will be the worst blow to them. Frankly, I am surprised that the internal revenue service has not revoked their status.
With respect to the criminal case against them, the SPLC filed motions to dismiss the case, which fortunately we’re not granted.
I look forward to a conviction and the dissolution of the SPLC. The United States would be a lot better off without this parasitic group and their legal strong arming.

It’s good that the DOJ is going after the SPLC, and hopefully, alongside that, BLM, Antifa, CAIR and a whole bunch of rabble-rousing Leftist groups throughout the US. They should all be bled dry of money through the very process they successfully weaponized against innocent people

Morris Dees who is the co-founder of the SPLC was fired in 2019 following allegations of sexual harassment, racial discrimination, and workplace misconduct. Now that the SPLC is under indictment they sent in a (token) black guy to take the heat.

What the Left asserts against others it itself does (kinda’ like Muslims). The SPLC pretends (yes, this is the right word) to be against hate but it is a major distributor of hate (e.g., describing pro-life folks as white supremacists).
Projection is a regular feature of deceivers. As examples, Antifa and the modern Democratic Party. The SPLC as well. And the fact that this turkey before Congress who is the head of the SPLC is really, truly and accurately “Mr. Fair” serves as just one more example that truth is stranger than fiction again and again and again.
