The problem lies squarely with Claudia Sheinbaum’s inability to exercise any significant measure of control over “top politicians within her party that triggered those tensions,” as well as over the cartels. Mexico is corrupt to the core.
Sheinbaum cannot admit her own inability to control tensions between the two countries for risk of having an internal mutiny on her hands; nor would she blame Trump, which wouldn’t go well for her, and she knows it. So she scapegoats the easier target: the “far right” public, as opposed to her own leftist base.
Her tactics are obvious.

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum is blaming the far right in both the United States and Mexico for the tensions between the two governments in the fight against cartels and the politicians that enable them.
During one of her speeches, Sheinbaum claimed that the tensions were not Trump’s fault but the fault of far-right groups in both countries that opposed her political party for ideological reasons. Sheinbaum did not directly address the drug trafficking allegations and criminal indictments against top politicians within her party that triggered those tensions.
In her speech, Sheinbaum claimed that she has a good relationship with U.S. President Donald J. Trump and that she didn’t think that the tensions were caused by him. She claimed that people on the far right in Mexico had teamed up with people on the far right in the U.S. and were behind the instability in an attempt to benefit from it.
Sheinbaum made no mention of the criminal indictment against Sinaloa’s governor Ruben Rocha Moya, who, along with nine of his closest allies, is accused of working for the Sinaloa Cartel by the U.S. Department of Justice. The tensions began when Sheinbaum used her position to defend Rocha Moya, claiming there was no evidence of wrongdoing on his part. She has since made numerous public statements claiming that the criminal case against Rocha Moya is political, aimed at hurting her party, MORENA. Rocha Moya is a member of that party and a close friend of Sheinbaum’s mentor and MORENA founder Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
The rising tensions come at a time when various U.S. law enforcement officials have hinted at other top-level Mexican politicians possibly facing similar indictments for their role in enabling drug cartels to operate in Mexico…..

Sheinbaum is not only a flaming Marxist, she is also a puppet controlled by the drug cartel. So, if anyone is controlled by a group of people, it’s Sheinbaum controlled by the drug cartel and China.
I as a Latin-American US citizen am sickened as to what has been happening to that Nation for a Century now ever since Communism took over since the early 1920’s.
This is what the Communist/Masonic/Islamic movement wants for America.

Too bad the US didn’t take over all of Mexico as a result of the Mexican War (1846-1848). This was something very much on the mind of President James Polk (one of the ten best Presidents IMHO) at the time but for several reasons (e.g., the fear in the North of the creation of even more slave states, thus demonstrating again the pernicious effect of slavery on the American nation) he was not able to accomplish this though he did acquire a huge amount nonetheless, including California (presently being ruined by Democrats) and much of the present American Southwest.
After all, who could argue Mexico being Mexico has been better off than being the southern most part of the USA? Doesn’t even pass the laugh test. And back in the mid-19th century Mexico was not that populated and if all of it had been acquired literally millions of Irish, Poles, Italians, Germans, et al. would have moved there and we’d now have suburbs of Mexico City with names like New Pittsburgh, Smithville and Millerstown and have about 60 states rather than 50. Oh yeah, a great opportunity lost.
Bottom line: Mexico is a disgrace of a nation and I wish President Polk had accomplished what he really wanted to do. This is my take and has been for a very long time now.

One thing that Mark Steyn and Thomas Sowell once observed was that British colonialism was way superior to Spanish colonialism. One sees that in the Americas today. While the US and Canada are (or at least were, before they started going down the rabbit hole of socialist fantasies) pretty prosperous, free market capitalist countries, most of Latin America was just the opposite. W/ some exceptions, such as Pinochet’s Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic and a few others
Nowhere is this better borne out than in the OTM countries south of Mexico. While there were thousands of illegal migrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, conspicuous by their absence were migrants from Belize. Somehow, Belize didn’t and doesn’t have the same problems as its neighbors, whose only difference was who colonized them. The Brits left there a relatively functional state, whereas the Spaniards just looted them and left
In fact, if anything, Belize was a place that Americans went to, most famous being John McAfee, the founder of the former anti-virus software package, before he got convicted for manslaughter and was forced to ultimately return to the US. If you are an American who can’t/won’t habla the Espanol, then rather than go to Mexico, Belize would be a better destination
