Khomeini’s grandson hails Iran’s victory over U.S., says ‘greater jihad’ will now begin

Hassan Khomeini is referring to the distinction in Islamic theology between the “greater jihad,” which is the interior spiritual struggle, and the “lesser jihad,” which is warfare against unbelievers. A few years ago, Muslim and non-Muslim Islamic apologists made much of this distinction, attempting to downplay the importance of military action in Islamic theology. However, the designation of warfare against unbelievers as the “lesser jihad” is not the same as calling it the “nonexistent jihad,” or saying in any way that it should not be carried out.

Khomeini is also saying that the war against the U.S. was a jihad. This has a great many implications, yet none of them are ever explored in Washington. If the State Department knew even some general facts about Islam, which is the guiding philosophy of the Islamic Republic, it would know how seriously to take this new dawning of peace, and be prepared for what is coming next, but no one has time for that.

Hassan Khomeini, a grandson of the first Iranian supreme leader, Ruhollah Khomeini, has hailed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the US and Iran as a major “victory” for Tehran.

The “greater jihad” would now begin, he promised, according to a speech aired by Iranian state media earlier this week.

In order to maintain victory, Iranians “must stay away from pointless disputes, disputes that are the product of ego and self-centeredness,” Khomeini said.

The “greater jihad” is a term often used to refer to the internal, spiritual struggle, while the “lesser jihad” refers to armed conflict.

It was unclear which disputes he was referring to, but the regime has struggled to suppress growing domestic dissent, most visibly during the January demonstrations that erupted over worsening economic conditions….

  3. Islam’s Muslims will lie and deceive to say whatever they want to say despite the hard facts of reality. Muslims better understand power and control, and that is the best way to deal with Islam’s Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

    Islam is the daily practice of Islamic Law by Muslims, and Allah commands Muslims to fight Non-Muslims to establish Islamic Law, Sharia DBA Islam, using Islam’s ideological animus against Non-Muslims so that Islam reigns supreme. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day[Non-Muslims]. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[in Islamic Law], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have given the book[Jews and Christians] until they pay the jizyah[Extortion Payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

  9. It’s so terribly disappointing that President has now proven that he has become no better than Joe Biden. For as treacherous Joe handed Afghanistan to the Taliban, and betrayed the Afghan people, likewise treacherous Trump has handed victory to those vicious despots by agreeing to that farce of a “deal,” therefore betraying the Iranians trapped in that Islamic tyranny had encouraged to revolt against that tyrannical regime. Trump is also by that hoax of a deal> betrayed Israel, and even America. As one of Iran’s head moto and thyme is ”Death to the United States.’

    Pamela Geller in the title of one of her article’s has it right which is ”THE BEST DEAL WITH IIRAN IS NO DEAL AT ALL.”

    The reason why this is so is because any so deal with those still in power in that dangerous hostile menacing liars is daydream a, fantasy a fiction and a farce. In other words, it would be a “peace agreement.” that is would be bogus, a false peace, because it would be based on ta foundation of sand. It would be completely worthless, with no value mat all.

    To put this a different sort of way. Any kind of a “deal” with that dangerous hostile and menacing Islamic regime of Iran is a bad deal. Those deceptive disingenuous lair who are still in power of that belligerent tyranny will not be worth of paper that they might sign on that so called “peace agreement. ” They will no intention of keeping any of the promises that they agree to.

    If that tyrannical Islamic is allowed to continue to exist it will restart its weapons manufacture system to attack American bases and the State of Israel. It would further supply Hamas and Hezbollah with deadly weapons. They will also come down severely hard in the most brutal cruel malicious and vicious ways on the patriotic good decent Iranian protesters who had been only after a genuine government that would ensure and respect the natural basic human rights of its citizens.

Is very wrong to even consider any type of deal, likewise truce or any kind of “peace agreement” with those disingenuous liars who would have no real intention of keeping their word on any document that they might sign. Therefore, the words that they would sign wouldn’t be worth that paper that have printed on such a document. It would be hoax. Those in power in that Islamic regime are just as dangerous hostile and menacing as those despots who in Iranian regime who had been killed this this war started.

    Moreover its very sad but that President Trump seems to be beguiled, as in deceived, by those liars of the dangerous and hostile Islamic regime of Iran. It’s very strange that Trump doesn’t understand that any document for “peace” which those despots of that tyranny will sign isn’t worth the paper that It’s printed on.

    There is a worldwide perception that, though Israel possesses nuclear weapons, it will not use them on Iran.

    It seems that both Iran and the US are testing that logic, leaving an unenforceable MoU in place of an actual treaty which might well lead to nuclrar weapon use to preemptively stop nuclear bomb acquisition by Iran.

      But its odds in Lebanon are much better. Just stick to controlling of a buffer zone and let the world eat dirt.

      • I agree rod, about pretty much everything you said. But will Iran give Israel permission to stay in Lebanon and protect its civilians in the north? I don’t see it.

        Trump is siding with Iran on this one. I keep a good count on weapons stockpiles. Israel is in no shape to fight Iran alone. I will make a detailed post with all the numbers when I have time elsewhere
