Israel Sues Imprisoned Jihad Terrorists

Jun 23, 2026 4:00 pm By Hugh Fitzgerald 10 Comments

It’s a curious case. Back in 1984, an Israeli soldier, Moshe Tamam, was hitchhiking when he was abducted by people he may at first have thought were fellow Israeli Jews. The four Israeli Arabs terrorists in the car quickly subdued him, and then drove him to a spot where he was held for two days, and then moved to an olive grove near Mevo Dotan where, after five days of torture, they murdered him. Since his murder, the State of Israel has been paying his parents money that, had Moshe Tamam lived, he would have contributed to the family. Now the State of Israel is suing the four terrorists, members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), for two million shekels ($200,000 USD), the amount the government has paid to Moshe Tamam’s parents since his murder to compensate for the financial damage that resulted from his death.

More on this case can be found here: “State of Israel sues four terrorists who kidnapped, murdered IDF soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984,” by Yoav Etiel, Jerusalem Post, June 21, 2026:

Israel filed a civil lawsuit on Thursday in Haifa Magistrate’s Court for about NIS 2m. against four terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine who kidnapped and murdered IDF soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984….

The lawsuit was filed against the convicted terrorists Ibrahim Abd al-Razzaq Biadsa, Ibrahim Naif Abu Much, and Saleh, formerly Rushdi Abu Much, as well as against the next of kin of terrorist Walid Nimer Asaad Decca, who was responsible for the cell and ordered Tamam’s murder. Decca died in 2024 while serving his sentence….

The suit argues that those who kidnapped and murdered Moshe Tamam and caused such profound loss to his family should bear the financial consequences of their actions, not the public as a whole….

The lawsuit also cites a passage from the sentence, in which the court wrote: “Before us is a horrifying act of murder, carried out by citizens of the state, born and raised in it, all while trying to give the act an allegedly political motive. Before us is an act of murder carried out in cold blood, with planning and premeditation, and the reason for his kidnapping and murder is the fact that he was an IDF soldier.”

It’s another way to disincentivize terror attacks. The 2 million shekels the state seeks from the prisoners will now be taken from the amounts that the Palestinian Authority has been giving to the families of the four PFLP members under its “Pay-For-Slay” plan. That plan, as is well known, both rewards past, and incentivizes future, acts of terrorism. With this civil suit, some — perhaps all — of the amounts the families of the terrorists have received will be taken from them to reimburse the Israeli Treasury for the amounts it has provided Moshe Tamam’s parents. It’s another way to discourage terrorism, by taking away the “Pay-For-Slay” rewards that the PA provides to the families of imprisoned terrorists. In the same way, the IDF blows up the family homes of terrorists to make the next would-be terrorist think twice — does he really want to deprive his parents and siblings of their house? And many will quietly decide that no, they don’t.

There is an old saying: Sue a beggar and get a louse.”

Somehow, I think that this program will be mired in collection efforts. The Palestinian authority seems to be awash in money given to it by the UN, Arab oil states and a host of NGOs.getting a mere $200K from the terrorists would be like you or me losing a dollar.

Blowing up the terrorists’ houses seems to be the most effective way to discourage terrorism. Perhaps, in addition, select soldiers, who are honorably discharged from the IDF, should be given their rifles to take home with them. Having a distributed armed trusted contingent of the population is the best way to thwart terrorism and violent crime. Also, arming select ex-IDF members with pistols and told to conceal carry would help. Four against one is no longer an advantage, if the one has a pistol.

        from Breitbart

        https://www.breitbart.com/middle-east/2024/04/09/amnesty-international-eulogizes-palestinian-terrorist-who-died-prison-as-writer/

Daqqa was convicted of commanding a group that kidnapped, tortured, mutilated, and killed 19-year-old Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984.

Tamam had his eyes gouged out and his genitals severed before being shot in the chest.

just like the arabs did to Israeli athletes in Munich 1972 Olympics

        https://nypost.com/2015/12/02/palestinians-castrated-israeli-athlete-in-1972-olympic-raid/

and what did the International Olympic Committee do?

In 2015, after decades of failed attempts to have the murdered Israeli athletes recognized during the games, the new International Olympic Committee president, Thomas Bach, has agreed to a moment of remembrance during the 2016 Olympics in Rio for all athletes who have died at the Olympics.

Spitzer and Romano (widows) are lobbying to have the Munich athletes remembered separately, since their deaths were as a result of a terror attack.

The IOC reportedly has also agreed to help finance a permanent memorial to the murdered athletes in Munich.

        ……………..was that evre done?

I forgot to add, the same slaughter and mutilation

happened in Israel, Oct 7 to everyone, women and children,

That is who the they are…this describes how they control and maintain the “culture”

and they film their slaughter proudly

and we all saw the men o

and the Jordanian pilot who was locked in a cage, being doused in accelerant, before being burned alive

and the Afghan women being buried before being stoned to death by the crowd of their neighbors gathered to kill them and to watch

and the public beheadings and amputations by “our friends” in Saudi Arabia

not to mention the honor killings..another display of cultural diversity we have allowed into country

and of course the rapes of unbelievers sanctioned by their religion and culture

Any way to hurt these jihadist supporters should be utilized. Many civilians are armed in Israel and terrorist attacks are thwarted every day. The “Palestinians “ are taught from the youngest age with the help of UNWRA and Europe to hate and kill all Israelis.

They will probably never see any money from the terrorists

If the suit is meant as a way of discouraging terrorism, a better way would be to immediately execute slime such as these four, rather than allow them to go on breathing, eating, for decades.

Sue the PA which uses funds to “pay for slay.” They have gazillions.
