And so now that they have the alleged leader of the free world groveling and continually giving the Islamic regime second and third and fourth and fifth and sixth and seventh chances to make a deal, they’re dictating terms: Not only are they to be allowed to continue their jihad against the U.S. and Israel, but they want to make sure that their proxy in Lebanon remains alive and in place as well. And Trump, mad for a deal, mad for low gas prices, mad for a Nobel Peace Prize, will agree.

By the day, it appears Trump is getting weaker and the hideous regime in Iran is getting stronger. Perhaps (better be the case) many machinations are going on behind the scenes whereby this evil Iranian regime is on the road to being replaced due to Mossad and CIA “activity” but, frankly, not only do I clearly have no knowledge of this activity but my gut tells me it’s not really happening.
All of which makes me wonder what the Hell Trump is up to. Does he not realize that dealing with this regime would have been like dealing with Admiral Doenitz, who succeeded Hitler as Fuhrer, and not requiring the utter elimination of the Nazi regime?
Look, I still cut Trump a lot of slack, and he has done great good in trying to save America from the idiocy of Leftism, but how much more slack does he need? Even assuming positive things are going on beneath the “surface,” at the very least the optics of all this stalemate are bad to simply terrible. And optics drive events in and of themselves often times irrespective of where the truth ultimately resides. Trump needs to clear all this up pronto because he has many enemies who wish him to fail utterly, and this would include the single greatest enemy of America in our time and which is the putrid modern Democratic Party (regularly aided by clueless RINOs).
At this point, not looking all that good. Perhaps, to invoke here a well known phrase, the night is darkest right before the dawn. We need a “dawn” in this “matter’ real soon like.

Trump is dealing with DOJ that will not prosecute those in violation of the Constitution and laws passed to protect the American homeland against infiltration as in immigration fraud. This is what is going on. Not so many Americans in the DOJ who will defend the Constitutional Republic. People in the government who are “MAGA” people are under physical threat and their families need extraordinary protection… this is what I see and understand and this is the answer to your question concerning ‘that the hell is Trump going?’.

Thanks for your reply. Frankly, though, I don’t think that what’s holding Trump up where Iran is concerned is what exists at the DOJ, which absolutely has a lot of career Leftists screwing matter ups as usual.
It’s a much bigger situation than this. Arguably, Trump could completely ignore the DOJ and still deal with Iran better so than seemingly he has to date, though once again I have to take into account that things could be happening behind the scenes which will produce an optimum result where Iran is concerned. Again, the problem for an ordinary mortal like myself is that I simply don’t have enough information but I can still have hunches and my hunch right now is what I stated above, to wit, at the very least the optics for Trump are not looking good and perhaps more will not be looking good for Trump down the road.
Bottom line: Trump knows or should know that leaving any of the Iranian regime in power is not an option. I’m not certain at this point that Trump realizes this.

In fact, I no longer call the country Iran in the first place: I simply call it the islamic republic, and use adjectives like islamic regime, islamic republicans,…. It’s also worth noting that shi’a islam – even the Twelver/imamiyeh sect is more an Iraqi than an Iranian sect. Most of the holy places are in Iraq – Kufa, Najaf, Karbala, Samara….. Only 2 of them – Qom and Mashhad – are in Iran. Also for its entire history, Iran was pretty much a battlefield b/w different Turkish clans – Ghaznavids, Seljuqs, Khwarezmids, Aq Qoyunlu, Timurides, Safavids, Afsharids and Qajars. In fact, it’s only the Pahlavi clan that’s ethnically Iranian, and they turned out to be more tolerant of Iran’s pre-islamic and non-islamic heritage
Responding to Wellington above, there have been polls by GAMAAN that show that the percentage of muslims in Iran today of any denomination – shi’a, sunni, sufi, et al doesn’t top 40%. Note that these are censored numbers: once Iran gets liberated, that percentage could go as low as 20% or even lower. I’d therefore have a bit more faith in them than you do, although I do wish that they now start ignoring Trump or Pahlavi and resume their street revolts against the remnants of the regime
