The crown prince is absolutely right, but it looks as if Trump has given himself over to Qatar and its friends, haters of Israel and lovers of Islam and jihad such as Tucker Carlson, who have convinced him, against mountains of evidence, that “rational men” are now leading the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that Benjamin Netanyahu is the problem for wanting to defend his country from aggressive attacks upon civilians. No good will come of Trump’s deal with Iran, which gives the Islamic Republic far, far more than Barack Obama ever dreamed of giving them. Trump has destroyed his presidency, his legacy, and imperiled the future of not only Israel, but the United States as well, now that he has confirmed that the world’s vaunted sole superpower is actually a paper tiger.
“Son of Iran’s late shah warns against any deal that leaves Islamic Republic intact,” AFP, June 16, 2026:
LONDON, United Kingdom — The son of the ousted shah of Iran spoke out Tuesday against any deal with Iran that leaves the Islamic Republic in place, as Washington prepared to formally sign an agreement with Tehran which the US has said is a done deal….
“Dealing with this regime will fail and we will all face the consequences,” he declared in a social media post.
“The regime’s 47-year war against the Iranian people continues. Just as it has never made peace with its own citizens, it will never truly make peace with the world,” he said….
Now, on Friday, Washington and Tehran are due to sign a deal meant to end the conflict and clear the way for settlement talks that are expected to leave the regime in place and lift some economic sanctions.
“Any agreement that preserves this regime or its remnants will fail. The Iranian people will not accept it,” Pahlavi, a supporter of Israel, warned.
“With or without international support, the people of Iran will overthrow this regime. Freedom will come to Iran.”

I think this is a BAD move. You cannot deal with a hard core terrorist regime. The have no respect for deals or agreements. This will stain Trump’s presidency. Hoping I am wrong but if not this will be his one BIG BIG mistake and hurt his legacy.

I agree. And I thought Trump got it. Very, very disappointed!

Don’t ever forget the brutality his father dished out on the Iranian people that saw them rise up against him and spark the revolution that has put Iran into becoming the brutal Islamic regime Iran has become .

As bad as the Shah was, he was *nowhere near* as bad as the brutal Mullahs have been.

It’s a reasonable possibility that trump will go down in history as the man who made america not exist again, as the man who destroyed america, enabling nukes to fall on america as their twelver religion requires. I give america 2 years or lest
before it is no more as an educated time frame. iCBMs are for america only as Israel is local.
Egypt & Syria went from military totally destroyed in 1967 to stronger than ever in 1973, just 6 years later. In today’s technology, Iran will be stronger than before in one year.
As far as the father of the crown prince, he was not a despot. He has forces trying to topple him, like communists, islamists and British & american intelligence agencies and had to be harsh to keep Iran stable.
The shah rattled the mullahs by seizing vast farmland the mullahs held and giving land to the people. That was the final trigger that got Khomeini starting the revolution. The shah did have some serious failings but the crown prince in exile has learned so much that he will be seriously a great leader. He is far superior to his father.

Qatar has promised the US investment of at least 1 trillion.
Trump wants the Arab cash – as betrayers of Israel always do.

every dollar the muslims are allowed to invest in America strengthens their influence and power…
we don’t need anything from them, and we really. need to deny them investments in America
they and their jihad are nothing without their oil
the key to the jihad problem is their oil supply
OLD GUY says
The islamic investment in America and other countries around the world has been going on for over 30 years. They are buying influence and spreading their propaganda to the countries that have given them access to their markets and, media and educational systems.
Islam is economically migrating and flooding countries with young migrant invaders also.

This is not only a horrible betrayal of the Iranian people but of the American people as well. Unfortunately most Americans today are more concerned about what they’re having for lunch than understanding that their lives have been put in terrible jeopardy by this fake agreement.

Wow. I really don’t know what to say. Or believe.

Grimly, he is *not wrong*. You make a deal with people who are neither rational or honest.

King Pahlavi is right, and he should now move from his home in Maryland to Tel Aviv, and start working directly w/ the Israelis on how to bring about regime change in his own country. There is no point counting on the US anymore. From the start of the war, regime change has been Israel’s policy, but never Trump’s
Also, Iranian citizens who are horrified at this betrayal should resume their demonstrations, even risking the loss of life: few revolutions are ever bloodless! Also, Mossad should cover them, and Israel should resume its military support to them, telling Trump that since they’ve not been shown the MOU, they have no idea of what’s in it. Also, since Israel wasn’t a part of the negotiations, it does not include them
Only silver lining: if an Iranian revolution does get pulled off, nobody can ever accuse them of being stooges of the US. Maybe that’s a part of the plan all along?

Let’s say after defeating Nazi Germany and killing Hitler, we left the Nazi Party intact to govern Germany. We are so committed to NOT doing “regime” change now because that would involve “boots on the ground” and a “forever” military engagement. That never works out…see Afghanistan. Afghanis who we thought were allies against the Taliban always fold and submit to the the “true” Muslims which means the radical Taliban.
With Pahlavi waiting in the wings…it would have been worth the effort to grease the skids for him to take control hoping he brings back a secular Government. But that will lead to another Iranian Revolution 2.0.
All that Trump can do is surveil Iran and use coercive economic and bombing tactics when they get out of line and that means carrying on with their Islamic ideological directives to cleanse the Middle East and the World of infidels.
