Hmm. What’s wrong with this picture? Trump keeps saying, and Vance dutifully echoes him, that a deal is “close” that will ensure that Iran surrenders all of its stockpile — some 140 kg. — of uranium that had been enriched to a just-below-weapons-grade of 60%. But surely, then, Iran shouldn’t be making it harder — perhaps impossibly harder — for that uranium to be retrievable. Could Janus-faced fork-tongued Iran, whose fanatical rulers know that Muhammad said “war is deception,” be setting up a situation where it offers Trump the theoretical possibility of retrieving that uranium and at the same time moves heaven and earth to make sure that the uranium is in fact irretrievable? More on Iran’s destruction of tunnels, and booby-trapping of entrances, can be found here: “Iran booby traps entrances, collapses tunnels leading to cache of enriched uranium – report,” Jerusalem Post, June 13, 2026:
Iran has escalated efforts to seal off its stockpile of enriched uranium, collapsing tunnels, and placing explosive mines at entrances in recent weeks, CNN reported on Saturday, citing five sources familiar with US intelligence.
This comes a day after a senior administration official told reporters that the US and Iran are close to a deal requiring Iran to relinquish its uranium, which has been enriched to near-bomb grade, according to the US.
Reuters also reported on Friday that the emerging US-Iran deal will include the dismantling of the Iranian nuclear program and allowing the US to collect the regime’s enriched uranium.
However, details of how the uranium will be extracted have not been made clear.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that retrieving the uranium is one of the US’s priorities in negotiations, although he has claimed that only the US and possibly China have the capability to do so.
But as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps beavers away in Iran, putting explosives at entrances to the uranium stockpile sites, and destroying tunnels, show the bad faith of the Iranian government, doing all it can to make sure that the retrieval of that uranium becomes nigh impossible.
A CNN report from Friday stated that the US had originally planned to launch a ground mission into Iran to recover the uranium, but that Trump had paused the operation.
In an interview with 103FM, former defense minister Yoav Gallant said that the US and Israel could and should have combined forces to retrieve the uranium during the war.
“We should have gone and brought the enriched uranium by force in a military operation during the campaign. That would have uprooted the nuclear program from Iran,” he said…
Yoav Gallant is right. It was madness for Trump to have forced Israel to call a halt to its war with Iran after just twelve days. He should have let Israeli commandos enter Iran to find and bring back to Israel that enriched uranium when Iran had just been battered and such seizure was still possible. Netanyahu should have told Trump “our forces are already on the ground in Fordow and Isfahan, it’s not possible to call them back, and when we get the uranium we will consult with you as to how, and where, to destroy it.”
Right now, Trump should call a halt to giving final approval to the deal, stating that will only happen if the Iranians stop trying to make access to the 440 kg. of 60% enriched uranium impossible, and instead remove both the explosives they have planted at the entries to the sites, and whatever rubble they have piled up in the collapsed tunnels leading to those sites. Furthermore, no unfreezing of Iranian assets will take place until after Iran either hands over the uranium itself, or allows Americans to find, seize, and transfer all of that highly-enriched uranium outside of the country, where it can be destroyed.

Some secret sources are reporting that Trump’s national security team has trained a corp of mice and snakes. These fellows will crawl and slither their way through hidden routes until they find and retrieve the uranium. They will then extricate themselves from these deeply hidden recesses and personally hand deliver the uranium to Trump. This will be called the Uranium II Deal.

are they also being trained to sexually assault ?
or is that only thee sneaky Israelis?

Delivering up the uranium as a condition precedent to stop the bombing of Iran should have been the first milestone. The U.S. in response to this recent development should be to step up the bombing and tell the Iranians to start digging and the faster you dig, the sooner the bombing stops.
I personally believe that Iran already. transferred all 140 kg. of enriched uranium elsewhere and then collapsed and booby trapped the tunnels. The uranium could now be sitting in an IRGC officer’s garage. This ruse lets them keep the uranium while sending the U.S. on a wild goose chase, digging through and sifting hundreds of thousands of cubic yards of earth and finding nothing.
The U.S. needs to cancel any armistice, resume bombing, and tell the Iranians that the bombing will stop when THEY deliver up 140 kg. of 60% U-235.

I think you may have hit on something there. Iran absolutely can NOT be trusted, period.

Sadly, Trump is wrong. Islam never will negotiate for peace. Islam keeps screaming death to America. Islam keeps telling the West Islam values death as much as Christians and Jews value life. Islam is an invading parasite. Only total annihilation will work. How can that be done? I do not believe it can be. If one jihadist remains alive, Islam will declare victory. That one jihadist will work to destroy the West. The U.S. and the West must accept this harsh reality and defend itself accordingly. There must be mass deportations of Islamists back to the Islamic country of their choice. Those in the U.S. and West must arm themselves to protect themselves. Sadly, some of this is from our own government.

I think their calculations are that US or Israeli troops will go in and try to remove the uranium, in which case they’d stand to lose personnel in such an operation
However, neither need happen. Since Israel’s goal is regime change, it would be enough to let that happen, and Pahlavi take over a transitional team. Under that regime, those sites can be completely bombed, or arrangements can be made w/ the IAEA to visit and remove that material, since Pahlavi has said that Iran would not pursue any nuclear programs – military or civilian
So this above news would have been concerning if there was a long term decision to leave the islamic regime intact. I doubt that, and also, at this point, after the latest flareup b/w the IRGC and the islamic negotiating team led by Ghalibaf and Araghchi, I doubt that this regime will even remain intact

A “peace treat” with Iran is meaningless. Again another sad example of a well intentioned attempt to transpose Western, Judeo-Christian values and modus operandi on moose scums. I voted for President Trump 3 times and remain supportive of him and this administration. But in THIS case he is completely wrong. It’s time to destroy Iran. All of its remaining strategic assets. Its infrastructure. Its communications. ALL of it. Burn it all to the ground Let “allah” sort this shit hole out. ENOUGH .

It should have blatantly obvious even before this report came out that those tyrants of that Islamic regime never were sincere about not having the objectives of obtain nuclear weapons.
Furthermore. it Trump really feels those disingenuous and outright liars do have any intention of keeping the promises any document that they might sign of a “peace deal” then he is a deluded fool. It would not be worth the paper that it’s printed on. To put in in another way. such a “peace agreement deal:” would be based on nothing more than a foundation of sand.
Walter Sieruk says
Has President Trump failed to understand that it’s best to finish the job, as in “Get it over with” which by eliminating that horrific tyrannical regime, once and for all. ?
As it had been, rightly and wisely. “Half-measures in war is madness and folly.”
