Other Insulting Commands Regarding Non-Muslims
The truth is that Islam has taught Muslims towards others is not only morally low and humiliating, but also inhuman. If there is still doubt, then read the conditions imposed by the second Caliph of the Muslims, Umar bin al-Khattab, on the people of Syria, on the basis of which the people there had sought security from him.
Accordingly, Abdur Rahman bin Ghanam al-Ash’ari says: “I wrote the treaty with my own hand and gave it to Umar that this is the treaty from the side of such and such citizens of the people of Syria with Amir al-Mu’minin Hazrat Umar Farooq that when you marched against us with your army, we sought security from you for our lives, wealth, and families. We obtain this security on these conditions:”
(The extremely noteworthy conditions of this treaty are listed below, which shed great light on the rights and status and rank of non-Muslims in a true Islamic caliphate and state.)
★ We will not build any new church or monastery in our cities and their surroundings.
★ We will not repair or renovate our dilapidated old or ruined churches.
★ We will not prevent Muslim travelers from staying in our churches at any time of day or night, and we will host Muslim travelers for three days.
★ We will not give shelter to any spy in our churches or homes.
★ We will not conspire or deceive against the Muslims.
★ We will keep the sound of the bells ringing in our churches very low.
★ We will not install the cross on a prominent place on our churches.
★ When Muslims are present in our churches, we will keep our voices low while performing our worship.
★ We will not carry the cross and our Holy book on the roads of the Muslims, nor will we hold any religious gathering or celebrate.
★ We will carry our funeral processions silently and will not carry torches with them.
★ We will not take pigs in front of Muslims nor sell wine.
★ We will not propagate Christianity to Muslims, nor commit any shirk.
★ We will not bid against Muslims to buy any slave.
★ We will not prevent any of our relatives from accepting Islam.
★ We will not adopt any adornment or beautification in any case.
★ We will not adopt any resemblance with the Muslims, nor will we wear caps like the Muslims, nor tie turbans, nor wear shoes, nor style our hair, nor ride mounts.
★ We will not speak the language of the Muslims, nor keep names like them.
★ We will shave the hair on our foreheads and will not make a parting.
★ We will tie the zunnar (belt) around our waists, and will not engrave Arabic inscriptions on our rings.
★ We will not use saddles for riding, nor will we keep any weapons, nor hang swords.
★ In sitting and standing with Muslims, we will show them respect, guide them on the road, and if a Muslim wants to sit in any gathering, we will stand up.
★ We will not peep into the houses of Muslims.
★ We will not teach the Quran to our children.
★ No Christian will trade with a Muslim except that the complete authority of that trade remains with the Muslim.
★ We will host every Muslim traveler for three days and arrange for his stay and food.
All these conditions are acceptable and approved by us, and the same conditions apply to all our co-religionists for security. If we violate even one of these conditions, then your responsibility towards us will end, and we will deserve everything that you do to your enemies and opponents.
When this treaty was presented to Farooq Azam, he confirmed it and had the following addition made to it: “No Christian will buy the slaves made by Muslims, and if any Christian kills a Muslim, he will not be entitled to the security given in this treaty.” (Ahkam Ahl al-Dhimma by Ibn Qayyim: 1149/3, Tafsir Ibn Kathir under Surah Tawbah verse 29, Irshad al-Faqih by Ibn Kathir: 340/2, Al-Muhalla by Ibn Hazm: 346/7, Al-Ahkam al-Sughra by Abdul Haq al-Ishbili: 600)
Imam Ibn Kathir has written about these conditions: “This has been narrated by Ishaq bin Rahawayh, Qadi Abu Muhammad bin Zabr, Bayhaqi, and many other Imams, and its chains are good… The Imams of Islam have expressed reliance on these conditions. The Caliphs and the Imams acted upon them, who decided with truth and did justice with it.” (Irshad al-Faqih: 340/2)
Not only this, the later caliphs also did not allow any reduction in this inhuman and insulting treatment towards other religions, but rather increased it. Accordingly, in the time of the famous Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid, Qadi Abu Yusuf, who held the position of Qadi al-Qudat in the Hanafi school, has narrated many such commands for non-Muslim dhimmis in his famous book Kitab al-Kharaj. Here, only as an example, a letter of Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz is being quoted from his book, which he wrote to one of his governors as a warning, who had perhaps stopped implementing the commands based on the humiliation and insult of non-Muslims. It should be remembered that Umar bin Abdul Aziz is considered the fifth Caliph among the Muslims.
Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote to one of his agents: “But after that, break all the crosses that are installed publicly. And the Jews and Christians are not allowed to use saddles for riding, but they must ride only with pack saddles for carrying goods, and their women also cannot sit on saddles but must also use pack saddles for carrying goods. Issue a formal order for this and do not let the people disobey it. And issue an order that no Christian can wear a qaba, nor fine clothes, nor a turban. It has been reported to me that in your province many Christians have again adopted the custom of wearing turbans, and they are not tying the belt around their waists, and are not shaving the front of their heads either. If all this is happening in your presence, then it is due to your weakness, your incompetence, and your listening to flatterers, and these people know how to revive their old customs. What kind of man are you? Take care of all the things that I have prohibited and stop these people from doing them completely. Wassalam.” (Kitab al-Kharaj by Abu Yusuf, Page 145, Al-Maktaba al-Azhariyyah lil-Turath)
Look again at all these conditions and commands given by the Islamic Caliphs and then decide with justice what kind of religion this Islam is that creates such hatred and contempt in the hearts of its followers towards others that they adopt such conduct towards others that cannot even be considered appropriate for animals.
What a sick Islamic mentality it is that considers the humiliation and disgrace of fellow human beings as its own honor and respect It is regrettable that today Muslims themselves are fully aware that these are the true teachings of Islam, yet they do not wish to leave it. The need of the hour is to bring these genuine Islamic teachings before everyone so that the reasons which prevent Muslims from adopting mutual human values with others can be clearly identified. By hiding the facts, we can never move towards any real improvement.

Here we have in this article the infamous Pact of Omar. Which is the severe rules and restrictions that were placed on Christians and Jews by Muslims to make the Christians and Jews subjugated, subdued, and humiliated second class citizens. It is so obvious that this Pact of Omar had the main purpose to slowly wipe Christianity and Judaism out of existence among the Muslim Community so that only the Muslim community would be left. This also went along with the Jizya tax on non-muslims.
This goes to show that the Ideology of Islam is an evil and wicked system that has no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech, and no equal rights. Also if the Non-Muslims violated any of the conditions of this Pact of Omar, the Muslim community was fully allowed and justified to attack and kill off the non-muslim Community. To this day this wicked ideology must be exposed and restrained. This evil and wicked ideology has no place in the modern world.

If I may suggest, the first sentence needs clarification. It appears something is missing, a word perhaps?
Also, an historical context is needed. When did these events take place? What was the setting? Who were the parties involved? Who were the people of Syria appealing to in order to avoid this Islamic mistreatment?

Believing the lies of Islam and then learning the truth, finding once you take the Islamic oath to submit you can never leave because they have a rule, you leave, we will kill you. Bet they leave that little gem out.
The rules for non-Muslims simply for control, to make ones life a hell on earth unless you submit.
Best bet, walk away from Islam, be happy sing dance and enjoy life all this you will not have under Islam.
