A Sudanese national was arrested in Athens after an attempted rape and armed invasion of a polyclinic, where he allegedly threatened employees and citizens while holding a knife.
The incident began in a store in the Menandrou Street area. According to the victim’s complaint, the man entered the store pretending to be a customer and asked to be served. A few seconds later, he unexpectedly approached the woman, who reacted immediately, started shouting and managed to get away.
As she described, her reaction proved decisive in preventing the worst. After the incident, she left the store, while the perpetrator left the scene shortly afterwards.
According to information, a knife was found in his possession, which fortunately he did not use during the attack.
A short time later, he allegedly broke into a polyclinic in the area holding a knife and causing a disturbance to patients and staff. Employees managed to immobilize him on the first floor of the building until the police arrived and proceeded to arrest him.
The investigation revealed that the arrested person was already known to the authorities, as his name had been involved in serious criminal cases in the past.
Specifically, in 2021 he was convicted of attempted rape in Kalamata, in a case with similar characteristics. Despite his conviction, he was released on restrictive conditions.
In 2024 he was sentenced to prison for attempted robbery, theft and carrying a weapon, but was released a few months later. In 2025 he was arrested again for insulting sexual dignity.
At the same time, it was found that he was illegally in Greece, as his asylum request had been rejected. Nevertheless, he remained in the country, having filed an appeal, for which the final decision was awaited.

Relatives just got back from Greece recently. Said there’s more immigrants in Greece now, than Greeks. Especially in Athens. You really have to get to the more isolated villages to get away from them.

The EU is now suffering for the ‘Bleeding hearts” policy of Mama Merkel etc. which allowed hordes of these fanatical Muslims into Europe under the garb of ‘humanism’. further with the liberal courts and judges of Eu, and a ‘no death penalty’ policy, these Jihadists are not deterred by the punitive punishments etc imposed on them. The jails of the ‘extra liberal/ EU states must be like 2 or 3 star hotels, where these violent Jihadists relax in comfort!
