Imagine how much we would be hearing about this if a pair of Roman Catholics had shown up at a mosque and shouted “F**k your mothers, you Muslims!” and “Jesus is Lord!” That would never happen and should never happen, of course, but the double standard is no less acceptable for being obvious. Everywhere Muslims and non-Muslims live in close proximity, some Muslims are hostile toward the Christians. Screaming these things in a church is designed to frighten and intimidate the people inside, and make them think that for their safety, they should leave the area. When they do leave, other Muslims will be ready to move in, until the entire area is “Muslim land.” That’s how the jihad advances without a shot being fired.

Mandy–with respect–Christianity *does not* teach Christians that they have to embrace evil. The idea that Muslims are atacking us–as their faith tells them to–because our leadership is supposedly insufficiently moral is mistaken. Islam has always been spread by the sword.

I understand where you are all coming from. But this Bob is a bully, I have seen a few of his comments and I will not allow this man to roll over me and my Christian beliefs. He is a miseducated commenter who is portraying the pope as someone he is not. We have to deal with the challenges of Muslim immigration in a manner that aligns with our Christian morality. We can never chose violence or oppression and come to expect a positive Christian result.
I understand the difficulty of integrating this group of people, there is just no way the pope can answer these questions differently without directly endangering millions of Catholics who share their nation with Muslims elsewhere. When your organization becomes so large and so influential, you must think about everybody while also maintaining the image of your organization. I suppose your could use the term “brand”. We have struggled with our image after the abuse scandals arose in previous decades, which ultimately led many people abandoned the church. The new church has moved into a much different direction, and it has done so to save itself from collapse and total loss of confidence of the youth.
We have a new generation of Catholics who we must permit to shape the future church before it becomes a hollow shell which paganism evolved into towards its end.
All of that could be ruined if we appeared as if we turned our backs towards what, at least appear to be, refugees and desperate poor souls. Again, I understand the perceived issue with this group of people and their inability to integrate into our western culture. The church simply cannot come out and demand mass deportations be enacted, I’m sorry but that just does not fit the Christian identity I was raised in, even though I am having conflicting feelings I really must admit that. A part of me is with you. But no part of me is with somebody like this uncivilized Bob.
These are the type of people that will lead us into nothing but chaos and war. You can tell immediately this is a warlike person, and that is simply not Christian culture in any sense, it is in fact the very opposite. And what is the opposite of Christian culture and the opposite of God? I will let you determine that yourself. If Christianity evolves into Bob’s Christianity, then what will it become? Just a marauding mob, everything peaceful and positive will disintegrated and the world will have nothing to fall back on to save it from this barbarism of people like Bob.
This is the devils deception, and these immigrants are indeed testing our patience and our moral boundaries…. I concede there. It bothers me to say it, but we can not handle too many more of these people and I would concede that I do not have a confident Christian solution to this situation at hand.
I am tired of reading comments that the Pope is out to “destroy western civilization” and things of that sort. The Catholic Church did not create these crises! How can you blame Catholics for these waves of immigrants arriving on our western shores? Bob and others like him are scapegoating the Pope and the Church and ignoring the real factors at play. We only attempted to fix your problems, when these people just began showing up and in need. We were as shocked as everybody else, and we only responded in a Christian manner to this challenge. And when we did that, somehow Catholics caught the blame in the west for just trying to help keep order and help manage the complicated situation! What malarkey! But I do not believe that those who are taught to oppress and mass murder unbelievers can be integrated into our civilized societies–and I believe that the last couple of decades have grimly proven tnis.
And you yourself confirm that Muslims are threatenng Christian in many places–they are, in fact, committing genocide against Christians in places like Nigeria and Syria.
With all respect, they are *not* doing this because Christians are speaking out about Muslms being dangerous. Instead, some people are speaking out *because* Islam is so violent. I don’t think that the Pope appeasing Islam by whitewashing it helps anyone. And importing more Muslims just endangers us in the West, as well.
And I don’t think that Christianity whitewashing Muslim child rape gangs actually makes up for child abuse in churches–just the opposite, in fact.
It is inviting in Jihad terrorists, unfortunately, which creates this “complicted situation”.

Saying they ‘support all faiths’ should exclude islime, because in islime, there is no “faith.” The muzlims take charge, go ballistic and carry out the things they supposedly ask of their false god.
Christians ask of God (the One in the Bible) things which they cannot do for themselves and to help them do things like keeping faith, displaying the fruits of God’s Spirit, following Christ’s example, etc. And they have faith that God will answer.
