Eventually, the contradiction will become obvious to everyone: Western leftists claim to be concerned about women’s rights, and yet they find a kinship with adherents of a religion that advises men to beat women from whom they “fear disobedience” (Qur’an 4:34), and that sanctions honor killing, which is the killing of wives or daughters who are considered to have besmirched in some way the family’s honor, by choosing to live in the Western fashion, or by rejecting an arranged marriage, or some other misbehavior of that kind. The leftists can’t condemn such things without being “Islamophobic,” and so they accept absurd situations such as this one. Ruslan Kutayev won’t condemn honor murders or stand up for women fleeing violence in Chechnya, but he remains on Russian dissident advisory panel of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) because to remove him would be “Islamophobic.”

Europe’s leading human rights body decided Wednesday not to remove a Chechen member of its Russian dissident advisory panel after earlier suspending him from his post over comments he made about LGBTQ+ people and so-called “honor killings” in the North Caucasus.
Ruslan Kutayev is one of five representatives of Russia’s Indigenous peoples and national minorities serving on the 15-member Platform for Dialogue with Russian Democratic Forces at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
In April, Kutayev stirred controversy when he said in an interview with journalists that he had “no desire to look into” the issue of women and LGBTQ+ people fleeing violence in Chechnya. He also refused to condemn so-called “honor killings,” a practice sometimes used to justify the murder of relatives perceived to have brought shame to the family.
PACE President Petra Bayr later said that she decided to suspend Kutayev’s membership in the Platform for Dialogue with Russian Democratic Forces after receiving “several complaints” about his adherence to the assembly’s rules.
Kutayev later clarified that he does not condone violence and was instead expressing attitudes within Chechen society as a whole….

The danger for the West’s women is not “Islamophobia” of the citizens, it is the government’s fear of violent jihad. Government has become the co-enabler of the grooming, trafficking, and homor killing of women.
Let’s try a Gedankenexperiment in which we imagine Western nations have a government-funded agency, not an NGO, for the protection of women which provides residence change, identity change, training, and temporary financial support to those trying to exit any culture which holds them against their will.
What cultures would respond with organized violence to a pathway for women out of their realm? Trafficking and religious cults.
