As much of the world retreats from the idea that gender dysphoric children should be “affirmed” with medical interventions, the Canadian Paediatric Society has appointed one of its acolytes as their new president.
In 2016, Natasha Johnson founded the Gender Diversity Clinic at McMaster Children’s Hospital. According to a 2022 profile, the clinic provides “gender-affirming healthcare” to between 85 and 100 youth per year.
She has also delivered public comments dismissing fears that such interventions risk yielding regret in adulthood, or that patients should wait until adulthood until pursuing irreversible interventions.
In a 2021 profile by CTV’s W5, Johnson said that children as young as 13 could consent to procedures such as hormones, puberty-blockers or surgery, suggesting that the alternative is heightened risk of death by suicide.
“I think to assume that, in general, thirteen-year-olds have no knowledge of the future or of the consequences of decisions, I think would be overstatement,” she said.
“I think that each young person needs to be assessed. It would be also important to share stories of the thousands of people who are satisfied with transition and report that the interventions were lifesaving.”
On May 23, the Canadian Paediatric Society announced that Johnson had been appointed its 2026/2027 president. “We look forward to the expertise and passion she brings to the role,” read a social media post…

I have often advocated a 3 step solution to this issue that afflicts both Canada and the US:
1. Merge both US and Canada
2. Take all Blue states of the US, and Canadian provinces that vote Liberal and put them together. That country will be called Canada. Make Harry its King and Carney or Trudeau the prime minister. Capital can be either DC or Ottawa
3. Take all Red states of the US, and Canadian provinces that vote Conservative, and put it together. That country will be US. Trump & Vance can continue as POTUS/VP, or we could start w/ DeSantis as POTUS (no longer a big fan of Vance). The US can have distributed capitals – one department in city A, next in city B and so on
4. Re-split the newly configured US & Canada, and build walls along their borders. Just ban immigration b/w the 2 countries and build a wall b/w the 2 countries, wherever their borders are
Then let that new Canada go w/ its LGBTQ heritage, and put child sex predators, jihadists, Khalistanis and Marxists in charge of running things. In related news, as a cost cutting endeavor, Canada plans to euthanize those that are sick or in need of medical care. Real world advise, in Canada, do not go to the doctor if you have an upset stomach. This is happening just as there are ongoing reconciliation efforts aimed at addressing past injustices and fostering a respectful relationship regarding Canada’s indigenous people. WTF has happened here as common sense does not appear to be very common these days.
A CHILD cannot make a decision on what their body needs, that’s the Parents job, so why would anybody wish to change the sex of a person under the age of 25 when they cant even Drive a Car or Vote or buy a Beer until they are age appropriated.
Leave those kids alone.
