All Is Not Quiet on the Western or the Northern Front

And thank god. While a “deal” between the United States and Iran may at long last be at hand, on the western front, in Gaza, and on the northern front, in Lebanon, the IDF keeps killing one commander after another, belonging to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The IDF killed two Palestinian Islamic Jihad platoon commanders and a Hamas deputy company commander in precision strikes in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, the military announced on Friday.

The two commanders from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization were identified as Qasslam Hassan Saleh and Sami Jamil Abu Dalal, while the Hamas commander was identified as Ubay Mamoun Saleh Farwana.

The terrorists, according to the military, had been planning to execute imminent attacks on IDF troops.

And then there are the stockpiles of weapons belonging to Hamas that have gone up in smoke:

Earlier on Friday, the IDF announced that it had struck and destroyed three Hamas weapons storage facilities in the central Gaza Strip overnight….

That’s what the IDF accomplished in just one night of bombings in Gaza.

As for the northern front, the IDF has just announced the killing of a dozen senior Hezbollah commanders. More on their timely deaths can be found here: “IDF announces killing of 10 Hezbollah field commanders, successors,” by Goldie Katz, Jerusalem Post, June 13, 2026:

The IDF reported on Saturday that it had struck over 70 Hezbollah sites over the last 24 hours, the military said.

The IDF announced on Friday that it had recently killed more than 10 of Hezbollah’s field commanders and their successors during its operations in southern Lebanon.

Among the terrorists previously killed was the commander of Hezbollah’s Nasser Unit, Hajj Salameh. Less than two months after his assassination, two of his successors, Mahdi Bazzi and Ashraf Salloum, were killed.

Additionally, the IDF killed the commander of Hezbollah’s Shaqif Sector, Nasser Shaqir, and his successor, Ahmad Sablini, within 12 hours of each other.

The other Hezbollah commanders killed were Bint Jbeil Sector Commander Ali Abbas, Tyre Sector Commander Kamil Younes, Hajir Sector Commander Fuad Moussa, Jibshit Sector Commander Hussein Salami, al-Khiam Sector Commander Ali Khayekh, and Qana Sector Commander Musallam Harb.

…Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, IDF forces worked to continue dismantling terror tunnels, with a focus on Khan Yunis. Over 20 terrorists were killed during these operations, the IDF said, including three senior Islamic Jihad terrorists, and the head of a Hamas funds transfer infrastructure and his deputy.

West Bank counterterrorism operations captured over 50 suspects, who were wanted for inciting terrorism, advancing terror activities, and possessing and trading weaponry.

IDF forces in the West Bank also confiscated 250,000 shekels intended for terrorism, as well as a lathe used to manufacture weapons, a drone, military equipment, ammunition, and more than 10 weapons including handguns and improvised Carlo weapons.

All of those Hamas, Hezbollah, and PIJ commanders killed, all those weapons seized or destroyed, all those tunnels blown up, within a single week, on three fronts — Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank (a.k.a. Judea and Samaria). And what now? For the men of the IDF, there is no “on the seventh day they rested.” They will continue their operations. I thought you’d like to know just how they’re doing.
