You see how it works? In Afghanistan, the Taliban tell the world that women who have been arrested for failing to comply with the Islamic rules for what they can wear have “psychological” disorders. The Taliban assume that anyone who doesn’t want to follow the rules of Islam must be crazy. Meanwhile, in the West, French, German, British and other non-Muslim authorities routinely tell the world that various Muslims who committed acts of violence in the name of Islam are suffering from “mental illness.” So in Afghanistan, not following Islam is a psychological disorder, but in the West, following Islam is a psychological disorder.

Taliban governor in Herat has acknowledged the recent detention of women and girls in the western city, claiming those arrested suffered from what he described as “psychological” and “religious” problems.
In comments published by Al-Emarah, a Taliban-affiliated media outlet, Noor Ahmad Islamjar confirmed that women had been detained in recent days for allegedly failing to comply with the Taliban’s dress code.
The remarks appear to contradict earlier statements by local Taliban officials, who denied that women had been arrested over hijab-related issues.
The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has confirmed that at least 30 women were detained in Herat between June 6 and June 7 by the Taliban’s morality police for allegedly violating dress requirements.
The detentions sparked protests in Herat and drew criticism from international human rights organizations and UN officials.
Islamjar also claimed that the women who were detained had spent many years living in neighboring countries and had, in his view, been influenced by foreign cultures. While he did not name a specific country, his remarks appeared to refer to Afghan refugees who had lived in Iran….
Yeah, the Islamic Republic of Iran, that bastion of women’s rights.

Allah in Qur’an 4:34 says, “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.”

Have to admit that when I first read that text, I wondered whether the women saw being sent to “beds apart” as a punishment or a relief (come to think of it, this could be why the wives of men in the grooming gangs did not report them, because they would have had to bear the brunt of their men’s disordered sexual desires by themselves absent those poor girls).

The key to Islamic stability is keeping women dependent and ignorant at which the Taliban excel. Much of Iran’s problems with women can be traced back to education begun under the Shah’s government.
What this declaration of women’s insanity seems to indicate is the Taliban are a cabal of men who, without using religion as a justifification for physical control of women, would be soundly rejected by those women if other choices were available.
The Burqa is a local cage, nothing less, declaring ownership by men. The old US Mafia would have been envious viewing this. They had to worry about how their wives might be influenced by the church or recognized as mob wives.
The Muslim women who reject Islam and its conformal men are not crazy, just more aware of a world 1400 years more advanced, staring at them from a little screens. It is the Muslim men who think they can be brutes and “rule the roost” forever who are crazy.
It is claimed in Hadiths that Muhammad said women were unfit to rule, inferior, and Hell was full of them. That was more likely an injection by “scholars” assembling the “scriptures” of Islam who realized the entire system would fail without the support of women. Their fatal mistake was making that support mandatory and servile.
Women are the keystone of Islam. When they begin leaving Islam in the West it will be more obvious and likely, there will be more violence by “insane” Muslim men.

So maybe Western government psychologists should have a conference in Kabul w/ Taliban psychologists (please don’t laugh 😂🤣) and see if they can agree on the definition of insanity. Since obviously they diverge
