UK pastor arrested for preaching Islam’s history of violence and calling on Muslims to be saved by Jesus

Meanwhile, as the UK embraces dhimmitude, Tommy Robinson told tens of thousands of freedom supporters at his “Unite the Kingdom” march on Saturday to prepare the “battle of Britain,” as the country stands at a turning point:

Steve Maile was handcuffed and detained for 12 hours, faces public order offense charge

A 66-year-old U.K. pastor arrested while street preaching in London, said he is facing hate speech-related charges for preaching the Bible and speaking out against Islam.

“It’s called inciting religious hatred — which is false,” Pastor Steve Maile told Fox News Digital. “The cross of Christ is a message of hope, love, mercy, and reconciliation to a fallen world… How could that be hate?”

Maile is a gospel singer and the senior pastor of Oasis City Church in Watford, England, a town outside London. For 45 years, the New Zealand native has preached and performed mission work globally. He told Fox News Digital that he often performs famous songs with lyrics altered to convey a Christian message.

However, a complaint led to his arrest while he was preaching on a high street in Watford on April 18. According to the Christian Legal Centre, which is supporting Maile’s case, he was singing and preaching a gospel message for about 10 minutes when he discussed Islam’s history of violence and called on Muslims to be saved by Jesus…

  2. It’s obvious that the not so great Britain has fallen into a deep self imposed abyss. They are so scared of muhammadism fosaking the truth. I think of Smith Wigglsworth, George Jeffries, Charles Spurgeon just to name a few and wonder where are today’s English equivalents?

  3. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy about the “last days” and what Christians could expect. He also wrote about ‘preaching’ God’s Word

    “I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: 2Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

    3For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

    5But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.”

    The arrest of this preacher is proof of what Jesus and Paul warned was coming. Scripture is being fulfilled. History is being made.

  4. Much could be said about all this but I have only this to say: The British police are an utter disgrace and are, collectively speaking, a menace to their nation, even to the point of being treasonous.

    Look Christine – Farage hates Tommy Robinson. He has made that very clear.
    He also hates Nationalists.

    The former Reform chairman Richard Tice dismissively refers to Tommy supporters as “,that lot – we want nothing to do with them”

    Understand this. Reform are only now making Nationalist noises because they feel the wind of change to the right.
    The new party “Restore Britain” lead by Rupert Lowe is gaining popularity.
    The are genuinely nativist and right wing.
    Reform are therefore being pushed to appear more right wing.
    But they are not.
    Laila is playing a game here. Politicians are scum.

    And I was on that Tommy march.
    As usual wonderfully behaved good people.
    Patriots. No face masks even though the police use facial recognition cameras.

    We hate Starmer. We hate the Government.
    We are sick of bloody immigrants and the corrupt police.

    I don’t agree with Tommy on everything – but the man inspires hundreds of thousands of ordinary folk to stand together in common cause.
    The preservation of our country.

      From my US vantage point, Rupert Lowe and his “Restore Britain” party are the last viable hope for the UK.

      • Many of us believe the same, but not enough yet !

        We are hampered by the MSM who studiously avoid all mention of Restore and have not allowed Rupert any air time. GN news did however recently allow an interview with him during off peak viewing time. He as always acquitted himself brilliantly.

        Restore relies on Social media and youtube.
        Thousands of volunteers have opted to take to the streets and go one to one with the public and win them over to Restore.

        Most of us supported and voted for Farage and Reform.
        That has proven to be a false hope.

        Restore is the last chance to preserve a Britain that is even remotely recognisable.

      Like you once noted, all those anti-islam parties – Respond Britain, Advance UK, UKIP, Reclaim and Britain First – all need to put aside their differences and have a united front against all the mainstream parties – Labour, Tories, Reform, LDP as well as SNP, Plaid Cymru and Sein Fenn

      But also spread the risk: don’t let Tommy or any single guy be the sole face of the movement, which would make it just one easy target for both the government and jihadists. Instead, have a – I hate to say it, but – politburo comprising of Tommy, Douglas Murray, Rupert Lowe, Anne-Marie Waters, Nick Tencelli, Lawrence Fox, Connor Tomlinson and Paul Golding. (I’m still reluctant to include Ben Habib here, unless and until he states that he’s an apostate from islam)

      Once this is done, split all the parliamentary constituencies b/w these parties, so that they can all dedicate their resources towards their own, and improve their chances of winning. That may be their best hopes of prevailing against the “anti-islamophobic” establishment

      • Infidel – yes an amalgamation of all those “on the right” would be very desirable even essential.
        The problem is doing so without concession to Restore’s set aims.
        These are clear and strong.

        I would mention that UKIP and Britain First under their leaders were at the Rally last weekend.
        Rupert was not there but has defended Tommy recently.
        Ben Habib spoke on stage and he had recently endorsed a Restore candidate at a local election.
        I would hope this means that there is an embryo of mutual agreement to work together.

        The problem with Tommy is that he is regarded by many “on the right” as being too much of a Civic Nationalist. He is of course anti Islam but is otherwise not against multi culturalism in the UK.
        Those who claim he is racist are completely wrong !

        Tommy is not a politician and does not want to be.
        His strength is outside politics and he poses a big threat to the Government.
        One man inspiring a cultural rebellion.
        It reminds me of what was I believe was said of Napoleon:
        ” The sight of his hat in a battle is worth 50,000 men”

        I will mention that President Trump , Mr Musk and the USA were all very loudly and enthusiastically cheered at the Rally.

        Tommy doesn’t need to be a politician, but he can be the spokesman and the face of the movement. Sorta like President Trump w/o the office of prime minister

    The British police are agents of a rotten, corrupt and oppressive state.
    If our we cannot save ourselves through politics then it is likely to result in sectarian violence on the streets and dividing lines geographically.
    The police will have to run and hide.
    We won’t forget what they did.

  8. A very brave man. How dare he tell the truth about evil islam. All the Muslim terrorists attacks, the Muslim rape gangs and yet Muslims are like some protected species. Almost everybody should have woken up by now. Only the poles, Hungarians and Czechs have not been conned. Islam is rotten to the core and Muslims need to be told to piss off. Islam will wreck civilised societies everywhere. It is incompatible with civilised human life.

    • Tim, when reading your comment, I was reminded of those old cartoons….and even some old sitcoms….where the main character has an angel on one shoulder and satan on the other. The protagonist hears each one speaking to him, trying to get him to make a choice of action.

      Anyone watching could see what the protagonist should do, to which one he should listen.

      Now, that cartoon would probably be seen so much differently than in the past.

      • Yeah, I can vaguely remembers those things you mention, somehistory. I am amazed at this con job that islam has done on so many people. There is so much evidence of Islam’s evil nature with all the terrorist attacks, etc, but so many people still seem to see Islam as being ok. Maybe lots of people are scared of the thuggish, violent Muslims. It is pathetic. The poles, Hungarians and Czechs give me hope that our societies could wake up. They show that it can be done. I hope are going well despite the effects of lupus.

        • Yes, Tim, the Poles, Hungarians and Czechs show that it is possible to see what is so visible and to react with commonsense. Probably the others see and are afraid.

          Thank you for the well-wishing. I have been suffering some. Saw my eye doctor last week. One eye is mostly blind to being able to read small font. But, the other is holding steady.

        • Sorry to hear about eye problem, somehistory. I knew that lupus was an autoimmune disease but much else. I looked it.up. Sounds very painful. A real nightmare. I’m going ok. My songs are now in the competition. I had three good days busking and two hopeless. I think it is a bit of a gamble. Two days hardly anyone around. I think I’ll try a different place.

        • Thank you, Tim. Yes, there are days when I am quite miserable and knowing I’m doing the harm to myself makes me down somedays
          But, overall, I’m glad to be here and I see others in worse condition. And I don’t live where the muzzies have taken over, for which I am thankful.

  11. If he were discussing the Islam’s history of violence and praised it as the Islam’s golden age like muslims did, he would have been praised. But he denounced it and talked about Jesus as the savior,
    Same Islam’s history of violence, only different perception, but it will land people in jail in the west. The west has become a disgrace.
    If we don;t want to be jailed, let use sarcasm, talk about Islamic practice and history and praise it as if it is a virtue.LOL
