Have you noticed that virtually everywhere Muslims and non-Muslims live in proximity, there are land disputes, with Muslims claiming more than they have? Israel is supposedly on “occupied” Muslim land. Muslims claim Kashmir from India. Muslims have illegally occupied northern Cyprus since 1974. They claim southern Thailand and the Philippine island of Mindanao. And now the Turks are claiming Crete. The reality is just the opposite: not just three-quarters, but all of Turkey is Greek land. History and archaeology bear that out. They are conquerors and occupiers on land they have stolen, but somehow the left never gets around to being enraged over that fact, despite the fact that in Turkey’s case, as opposed to Israel’s, it’s actually true.

Fresh tensions between Greece and Turkey have erupted following inflammatory statements broadcast by Turkish media outlets claiming that “three-quarters of Crete should belong to Turkey.”
The provocative remarks came after reports that Ankara is preparing legislation to expand maritime claims in parts of the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.
According to reports aired on Turkish broadcaster Haber Global, commentators warned of a possible naval confrontation with Greece later this year and even threatened the sinking of Greek vessels if tensions escalate.
“One of the Greek patrol boats may have to be sunk if necessary,” one commentator reportedly said, while also warning of potential clashes in September or October linked to fishing and maritime disputes in contested areas.
The rhetoric was accompanied by claims that large portions of Crete and islands in the eastern Aegean “historically belonged to Turkey.”
The statements referenced interpretations of the Treaty of London and later agreements concerning Crete during the decline of the Ottoman Empire, arguing that parts of the island should have remained under Turkish control — claims widely rejected under modern international law and existing treaties.
The comments were highlighted by journalist Maria Zacharaki during a report on Greek television, where she said Turkish media were presenting a narrative that Turkey would not permit Greece to undertake projects in the Aegean or Eastern Mediterranean without Ankara’s approval….

Actually, even “Istanbul” is a Greek word, meaning “To the City”. There is nothing islamic about that name. All the 3 names of the city – Byzantium, Constantinople and Istanbul – are either Roman or Greek
Other cities in Turkey, like Edirne or Konya would be worth reverting to their original names should Anatolia ever hypothetically revert to Greek and Armenian rule

Anatolia, where my ancestors came from is all stolen land—the Turks are squatters. It won’t surprise me one bit if Erdogan tries to snatch Crete. They should just kick Turkey out of NATO.

One thing for sure: for those who believe in the veracity of the Bible, and who believe that Ishmael was the progenitor of the Arabs (and essentially of Islam), the Genesis description of Ishmael is 100% spot on:

On islamic land-grabbing, there is also Jordan. 72% of the land set aside for a Jewish homeland was given to the Hashemites, to whom the UK owed a favour after WWI, as a home for West Palestinian Arabs. Leaving aside the fact that the British Mandate was a steward of the land, not the owner of it, we then got a similar situation to Pakistan/India, where the land given to Islam wasn’t enough, so they tried to finagle some that wasn’t given. I think that, if Jordan is not willing to take the Gazans, they should be asked to cede back some of their land, since this was the original two state solution.
