Somalis have hijacked three ships in a week.
Now that the FBI is busting fake Somali day cares in Minneapolis, Somali pirates are taking to the high seas back in their own country and hijacking ships, taking hostages and hoping Gov. Tim Walz shows up.
Thus far the piracy has been mostly internal with a Pakistani crew, Indonesians and Syrians taken hostage. That also says something about which sailors and ships felt comfortable operating near Somalia.
Thus far three ships have been hijacked in a week by the Somalis.
Somali officials who have benefited from massive amounts of foreign aid are arguing for negotiations and claiming that they can’t directly intervene due to clan politics.
The Somali pirates are operating out of Puntland which is also where Rep. Ilhan Omar’s war criminal father operated.
So as usual the Somali pirate apple doesn’t fall far from the political tree.

Supposedly, the snake, ilhan elmi, is being investigated. Hopefully, that is really happening. Her husband….the third one….has closed his wine business due to the probe of the money she reported.

I can not understand why these transport ships do not all have 50 calibers, RPGs, lethal drones, stingers, etc., to take out these pirate boats before they get close to their vessels.

Hey, all you fine people (Hart, Cellar, Swimmin’ Ted, etc) who promoted the 1965 Immigration Act: thanks for giving us people like Ilhan Omar and multitudes of others of her ilk.
I believe a good argument could be made, that the 1965 Immigration Act was the beginning of the end of the American Republic. Truly, the epitaph of the West could be: “Killed by Compassion”.

Yes, a good case could be made for the argument that the 1965 Immigration Act, and highly supported by that new Senator from Massachusetts, one Ted Kennedy, was a major turning point for America in a profoundly negative way.
