This encapsulates the divine mission, or “civilizational project of guiding humanity,” to which he refers. The Muslims, the best of people, must assert their authority to “command what is right and forbid what is wrong” over unbelievers, and in doing so, create the rightly guided society, organized according to the will of Allah. And so it must be understood that he is articulating a political imperative, for only once Muslims gain political power will they be able to “command what is right and forbid what is wrong.”
And so today, Sharia is advancing all over the U.S. under the claim that it is solely religious, while even Muslim leaders are saying more or less openly that they have a political agenda that is inherently supremacist. Few in power today, if any, realize these implications of what Esam Omeish is saying.

Islam doesn’t need to be banned anymore than Marxism and Nazism need to be banned. What does need to occur is having Islam properly and accurately described as the one major religion which slipped through the cracks posing as something good when it clearly is not.
Free societies don’t need to ban inimical ideologies that are enemies of freedom—indeed doing so is actually counter-productive. Proper identification of iniquity (and stupidity) is enough, especially if accompanied by a citizenry which has retained in the aggregate two very important areas of intelligence, i.e., common sense and moral intelligence, neither of which is really registered with any standard IQ test (and thus demonstrating the limits of IQ results, though such results are now too easily dismissed as they were too easily accepted a half century ago or so).

swastika is banned. Nazi flags and Nazi salutes are banned. In many countries it is illegal to name a baby Adolph Hitler.
Countries, such as Australia, have instituted laws to combat public displays of Nazi ideology.
An individual may personally consider themselves a Nazi. It would just be illegal for them to publicly demonstrate a commitment to the Nazi ideology.
The same process can be applied to Islam.
Just as Nazi symbology is banned, and a public display of Nazi ideology is banned, so too Islamic symbology could be banned, and a public display of a commitment to Islamic theology could be banned, using established precedent regarding National Socialism.
The world can know that it is not OK to be a Muslim.

Allowing problematic ideologies to continue to exist in the West and proselytise has worked out so well, to date.
Ideologies, like International Socialism, and National Socialism, and Islam, are the basis for most threats to National Security.

Wellington, this is not enough because Islam keeps growing with government money. Banning Islam is not required. The key is TO NOT PUBLICLY FUND Islam or any of its Muslim Organization under US Law, the USA Constitution. Basically, every organization(eg. Christian, Hindu, Muslim, etc.) would have to adhere to the USA Constitution to gain public funding. Our Leaders must pass Legislation to create a Legal Threshold for an Applicant Entity to qualify for or to gain Rights, Protections, and Privileges under the Law where the Applicant Entity must adhere to the USA Constitution. The purpose is not to ban any Applicant Entity but to establish a Legal Threshold for qualification in public funding. As a result, Islam and its Muslim Organizations would fail to qualify for Public Funding due to their Muslim discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism against Non-Muslims as taught in Islamic Law, aka Islam. Individual Freedom does not exist in Islamic Law or in Islam’s Qur’an. Islam is the day-to-day living of Islamic Law where Islamic Law is based on Prior Legal Rulings, the Qur’an, the Hadith, the Sira, the Tafsir, the Tarikh, etc.

I agree, Tony. If Islam were accurately characterized as the malevolent ideology that it is, thereafter it would receive no public funding. Again the key is exposure and not banning. Free societies can tolerate those who wish free societies ill, as Thomas Jefferson noted in his First Inaugural Address of March 4th, 1801, but it came with the clear implication that you must know who wishes free societies ill. Islam will use freedom to destroy freedom and this must be widely recognized. To date in the West it has not been and therein lies the rub.

Government money to propagate Islam is the problem. It must stop. Let Islam in the USA be supported by those who believe it; just as Christian believers support their institutions.
This being said, I believe the time is past due for evangelical Christian believers to ditch the unbiblical doctrine of the “secret rapture”, re-appropriate the classical Protestant confessions, and re-engage.civilization.
