Chris Rabb has just won the Democratic primary to represent Pennsylvania’s Third Congressional District in the House. He is assured of winning the seat, as the Republicans are not even fielding a candidate in this bluest of districts. He has some strong views on Israel, none of them good. In fact, Rabb will fit right in as a new member of the infamous Squad, joining Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Ortiz, and Summer Lee in making his anti-Israel animus central to his appeal. Chris Rabb, a progressive state lawmaker who is staunchly critical of Israel, is poised to become the newest member of Congress’s “Squad” after winning a Democratic primary Tuesday in Philadelphia.
Since no Republican sought that party’s nomination, Rabb is a shoo-in to succeed retiring Democratic Representative Dwight Evans.
Rabb was endorsed by progressive stalwarts US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and far-left online streamer Hasan Piker and drew financial backing from the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Rabb had made opposition to Israel and AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobbying group, a focal point of his campaign in Pennsylvania’s Third Congressional District.
He also recently made headlines when it was reported that his Instagram account had shared a post saying the Bondi Beach massacre was a false flag by “Zionists.” he disavowed the post and said it was shared by a former staffer….
Yes, isn’t it always a staffer who is to blame whenever a politician’s anti-Israel posts and reposts come to light? A person who is blamed, but not named, is said to now be a “former” staffer, presumably let go for having posted something that the candidate would never have sent himself. Should we believe Rabb’s claim he had nothing to do with it? And even if it was a staffer who reposted the sinister claim that the Bondi Beach massacre was a “false flag” operation, why did Chris Rabb have such an obvious antisemite on his staff in the first place?
“They told me this wasn’t possible. That’s what they said,” Rabb said during a victory speech. “I don’t know who they are, but I know who we are. I’m looking at we the people. And I’m not talking about we the people 250 years ago. That was a much smaller we. I’m talking about the aggressive fabulosity of this we.”
If you want to treasure one memorable phrase uttered by Chris Rabb, remember this: in his victory speech he told his supporters that he was talking about “the aggressive fabulosity of this we.” This reminds me of the crazed rhetoric of Father Divine.
Rabb’s top two opponents were Sharif Street, a state senator who garnered support from J Street and figures in the political establishment, including Philadelphia’s mayor and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey; and Ala Stanford, a pediatric surgeon who has faced scrutiny for being boosted by a group that’s alleged to be a shell organization for AIPAC….
So the anti-Israel madness has come to this: if you receive support from AIPAC, or from a “shell organization for AIPAC,” you will “face scrutiny.” Such support from a pro-Israel PAC is now in certain districts something to hide.
If elected in November, Rabb’s platform would make him one of the harshest critics of Israel in Congress. He supports a complete embargo on arms sales to Israel. He posted on X last week that “the Nakba never ended,” and said he would co-sponsor a resolution with Omar and Tlaib to “recognize the Nakba and reaffirm Palestinian refugees’ right to return.”
The “right of return” could, if implemented, lead to millions of so-called Palestinian refugees — in truth, these are the children and grandchildren of the people who left Israel during and just after the 1948 war — moving back to Israel, swamping the Israeli Jews demographically and leading to Israel’s end as a Jewish state.
Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, who is Jewish and has sponsored the Block the Bombs to Israel Act, endorsed Rabb. He was also endorsed by the anti-Zionist group Jewish Voice for Peace, and a slew of left-wing groups including Democratic Socialists of America and the Working Families Party, as well as groups that explicitly work to counter AIPAC such as Track AIPAC and PAL PAC.
Jews who are lukewarm (at best) about Zionism, including Jewish Voices For Peace, endorsed Rabb. So did Rep. Jamie Raskin, who has sponsored a bill to prevent some American military supplies from being delivered to embattled Israel as it fights a seven-front war. The Democratic Socialists of America, whose most famous members are Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Zohran Mamdani, also endorsed Rabb.
“We will be with Congressman Rabb every step of the way in the fight to abolish ICE, free Palestine and win Medicare for All,” the DSA wrote on X Tuesday night.
It’s quite a program the DSA, apparently with Rabb’s blessing, has set out: leave the fourteen million illegal migrants, including those with criminal records, in place, by abolishing ICE; destroy the Jewish state (for that is what “free Palestine” means — a “Palestine from the river to the sea” that includes all the land of Israel); and bankrupt the country by providing Medicare for All, including those fourteen million illegal migrants, adding hundreds of billions of dollars to the deficit. Why not adopt just one more policy in the same preposterous vein: “abolish the police”? No police, no police brutality. People who are no longer scared of the long arm of the police, will have much less reason to act up, and can themselves police their now largely law-abiding citizenry. Sounds like a plan. An insane plan, but a plan.
Chris Rabb will be welcomed to the Squad as its only male member, now that Jamal Bowman was defeated in his bid for re-election. Rabb is going to be a huge problem for those centrists Democrats who still support Israel. They should start now preparing for him to be challenged in two years’ time. He’s bound to sponsor some outrageous bills, and not just on Israel. He is, after all, a Democratic Socialist. The very popular governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, is a strong supporter of Israel and should help to choose a candidate to run against Rabb in 2028. Fundraising for a potential primary opponent to Rabb should begin now. After all, Rabb is vulnerable, having received only 44% of the vote in this year’s Democratic primary. He was lucky this time — the vote against him was split between Sanford and Street. Next time, anti-Rabb democrats should settle on one candidate — the pro-Israel Sanford would be a good choice — to unseat Christopher Rabb and put paid to the “aggressive fabulosity of this we.”

Just one more piece of evidence (Holy Hell, how many more are needed?) that the modern Democratic Party of the USA is utterly, completely, totally and expansively gone (excuse the excessive use of adverbs but I don’t care) and thus anyone remaining a registered Democrat, for whatever stupid and indefensible reason, is part of the problem and in no way part of any sound solution. To the extent that the Democratic Party continues to prosper, precisely to this extent it is more likely that America will not.

Open any history book or news outlet today, and you’ll hear of the Nakba, the Arabic term for “catastrophe,” referring to the displacement of Arab Palestinians during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The narrative is used relentlessly to vilify Israel, painting it as a colonial oppressor that “ethnically cleansed” native people from their land. But there’s another side of the story, a truth buried beneath decades of propaganda and silence.
It’s the story of nearly one million Jews who were forced to flee Arab and Muslim lands, leaving behind centuries-old communities, homes, synagogues, businesses, and holy sites. Unlike the Palestinian Arabs, these Jewish refugees received no global attention, no UN special agency, and no right of return. They were simply absorbed and forgotten.
Between 1948 and the early 1970s, approximately 850,000 to 1,000,000 Jews were expelled, persecuted, or pressured to flee from 10 Arab and Muslim countries:
Iraq (~135,000 Jews): Subjected to brutal pogroms like the 1941 Farhud, mass arrests, and laws stripping them of citizenship and property. Most fled by 1951.
Egypt (~75,000): Expelled after 1948 and again post-Suez Crisis in 1956. Homes and businesses seized.
Yemen (~55,000): Airlifted to Israel in Operation Magic Carpet (1949–1950) following anti-Jewish violence.
Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Iran: Similar stories of mob violence, state-led persecution, and total erasure of Jewish life.
These Jews didn’t have to be expelled by war; they were expelled by hate. Arab regimes made it impossible for Jews to remain. Their only refuge was Israel; the very country being demonized by the descendants of those who once hunted them.

The Palestinians left a war zone, many after being told by Arab leaders to flee temporarily and return after Israel’s destruction. In contrast, Jews were hunted, attacked, and deported from lands they had lived in for millennia.
So why does the world remember only one side? Today, the Nakba isn’t just a term, it’s a weaponized political tool used by Palestinian leaders, NGOs, and activists to delegitimize the very existence of Israel.
They use it to push the false claim that Jews “stole” Arab land. The demand for a “right of return” for millions of descendants to flood Israel and demographically erase it. A narrative of victimhood that ignores Arab responsibility for launching the war in 1948.
Worse, the Nakba narrative erases Jewish history in the Arab world and gaslights the Jewish people by suggesting they were oppressors rather than fellow victims of 20th-century ethnic cleansing.
Let’s be clear: the Nakba is not about loss; it’s about rejecting Jewish sovereignty. Palestinians mourn the existence of Israel, not just their displacement.

Instead of a filibuster, I think that Rabb should continue the Bowman way of interfering with key bills that are about to pass by activating the fire alarm right before the vote. In Bowman’s case, the Republicans had enough votes to fund the federal government, end the shutdown, and return the federal employees to work.
Bowman initially said that activating the fire alarm was a mere mistake, but he was nonetheless charged with a misdemeanor. Video evidence of him stopping to read multiple signs that said “emergency exit only,” “alarm will sound,” sealed his fate. He pled guilty to that misdemeanor, admitted his guilt and motive in detail in the plea allocution, paid a $1000 fine, and was given 3-months probation.
The point of this background is when it came time for Congress to censure Bowman, only 4 Democrats sided with the Republicans to censure him. Disgusting!
