Atikur Rahman is a senior civil servant working in the Home Office in the U.K., now running on the Green Party ticket to become a local councillor. The Green Party, from its leader, Zack Polanski, on down, has been a hotbed of anti-Israel animus. Rahman has posted online his own anti-Israel sentiments, including his “finding funny” a post from Deloitte’s (the accounting firm) office in Israel expressing sympathy for the Israelis murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023. More about Atikur Rahman can be found here: “Home Office civil servant overseeing Rwanda deportations is standing for the Green Party – and he’s under investigation over social media posts laughing at October 7 attacks,” by Christian Calgie, Daily Mail, May 1, 2026:
A civil servant standing for the Green Party in next week’s local elections is under investigation over his social media activity.
Atikur Rahman, standing in the Birmingham ward of Tyseley and Hay Mills, has been working at the Home Office for nearly three years.
During that time, Mr Rahman has interacted with numerous posts that appear to betray his political allegiances and which criticise both the Conservative and Labour governments under which he has served.
Rahman has criticized both Labour and Conservative governments for being, in his view, too favorable to Israel. Indeed, he appears to have an obsessive interest in damning in his own posts, or in praising posts by others who damn, the Jewish state.
These include an occasion when he reacted to a post commemorating dead Israelis, in which Deloitte’s team in the Middle East said their ‘hearts and minds are deeply empathetic towards the families and friends who have suffered the loss of their loved ones in a harsh and unfathomable reality’.
Choosing from LinkedIn’s set range of responses, Mr Rahman ‘finds this funny’, the post shows.
He later liked a post condemning the memorial, which branded it ‘political’ and added: ‘I do not share these sentiments… I ALWAYS AM AND ALWAYS WILL BE IN SUPPORT OF THE LIBERATION OF ALL PALESTINIANS’.
A year ago, he also liked a video claiming that Israel was ‘attacking the UK’ by funding the summer riots and Tommy Robinson, while he also liked a post from a lawyer representing the singer Bob Vylan, who had sparked fury by chanting ‘death to the IDF’ at the Glastonbury Festival.
The post claimed that ‘all [Vylan] did was raise alert to the genocide in Gaza given that so many were deaf to the crimes of the IDF’….
Rahman “liked” the post by a lawyer defending Bob Vylan’s call for the murder of Israeli soldiers — “death, death to the IDF” — by claiming that Israel had committed “genocide” in Gaza, and all Vylan did was “raise alert” [sic] to that genocide.
He also liked a post criticising the Conservative government’s plans to increase the minimum salary threshold of a spousal visa as putting ‘a price on love’, and a post accusing the government of having ‘stoked immigration divides and fear’….
A Green Party spokesman said: ‘Where there are examples brought to our attention that do not fit in with the views of the Green Party, we are looking into them.’
Atikur Rahman’s views — his deep anti-Israel animus and his opposition to those wanting to curb immigration, whom Rahman describes as “wanting to stoke immigration divides [sic] and fears — fit perfectly with the views of other Green Party members, including such candidates now running for councillor seats as Mark Bittlestone, who describes the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023 as a “false flag” operation by the Israelis. And there is Zack Polanski, the head of the Green Party, who is both Jewish and an unhinged critic of Israel, who accuses the IDF of “genocide.”
Mr Rahman said: ‘I am horrified to learn that I might have selected the wrong reaction to a post.
Yes, Rahman wants us to believe that he mistakenly happened to click on “Like” for a post that denounced those who want to limit immigration as “stoking divides [sic] fears.”
If you repost someone else’s post, or give it a “like,” then of course you are endorsing it. Rahman, as a civil servant, is supposed to remain impartial; he never did. He found “funny” the expression of sympathy for Israeli victims of Hamas; he liked a post denouncing those who want to curb immigration. He needs to be investigated and then discharged forthwith from the civil service for violating the requirement of impartiality. Of course, Atikar Rahman may manage before that happens to be elected as a local councillor. And if so, it is my sad duty to report, he’ll escape punishment.

And just how many more “Trojan Horse’s” and “5th Columnists’ are lurking in the Home Office, in fact how many more are lurking in Government.

Britain is cooked! Anyone who saw the old BBC series “Yes, Minister” and “Yes, Prime Minister” will know that civil servants know perfectly how to manipulate power in that country like the back of their hands. If mohammedans have managed to make it into the Civil Service, it’s like the Trojan horse: Troy has been compromised, and is as good as conquered!

I’ve a great deal of respect for the nation of Israel and Jewish people in general, and stand firmly with them. But now and again you get these leftarded Jewish idiots who can be as dangerous as any mad jihadi. To name a few ,George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg, and now this Zack Polanski, all three of them believe they take the moral high ground, but the truth is they are actually supporters of evil.
