Some grim predictions for Europe: “Islam’s Turbocharged Takeover of Europe,” by Nils A. Haug, Gatestone Institute, May 6, 2026:
Europe as a whole has an enormous economy — $32 trillion, the same size as America’s. Together, they are the world’s two largest economies. Their members can afford significant military spending, and Trump has been requesting it….
Trump has requested that NATO members commit to a steep rise in their military spending, and they have now done so. His threats have worked.
In the circumstances, due to the fast growth of Islamic power in Europe, it might be wise for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his equally hapless – when not harmful — counterpart in France, President Emmanuel Macron, to relocate their nuclear weapons to US territory.
To transfer their respective nuclear arsenals to the United States would be politically impossible; neither the British nor the French people would stand for it. Furthermore, it would be an intolerable act of defeatism, a sign that those making that transfer believe that the Muslim takeover of their countries is inevitable.
Islam has begun dominating the continent with mosques, Sharia courts, Islamic schools, halal food supply — and electing radicals to influential political positions at local or council levels as well as on national platforms….
Not yet dominating Europe — that is too strong a word — but rather, spreading across Europe with the building of thousands of mosques, the reliance on Sharia courts to decide questions of family law, the establishment of Islamic schools, and the spreading of halal foods to mainstream food outlets,
Nils Haug is too gloomy. European nations, it appears, have succumbed to Islamization. Their rapidly changing demographics reveal it; their failure to adequately protect their small Jewish communities against vociferous hate reveal it; their compromise on basic individual freedoms in their own countries reveal it, and their refusals to support the US, their erstwhile protector, reveal it. But Haug fails to mention that there are political leaders in Europe who see the Muslim threat to Europe, and are prepared to do something about it.
The fecklessness of these weak leaders who turn their backs on efforts by the US and Israel to save the West has been fully exposed. The ultimate intent of Islamization, seemingly, is to dismantle Western civilization and impose a worldwide Islamic caliphate under Sharia law — as has been successfully achieved in Turkey, formerly the great Christian Byzantine Empire, as well as much of North Africa and central and south Asia.
Turkey, or rather the Ottoman Empire as the successor state to the Byzantine Empire, was never a “worldwide caliphate.”
In the UK, this process of Islamification has borne much fruit: Islam has become a dominant culture. Examples abound: the failure adequately to deal with the long-term mass sexual abuse of hundreds of thousands of English children, and the increasing arrests of British citizens who, either online or in person, criticize the UK’s staggering cultural erosion.
Tens of thousands, and possibly hundreds of thousands, of English girls were victims of the Pakistani grooming gangs. And Haug is correct: for many years, the police did nothing about these Pakistani abusers, for fear of being labelled “racists.” And many of those who have spoken out about the “cultural erosion” of Britain by Muslims who do not want to share British culture, but to supersede it, have been vilified.
Demographically, Britain is now a nation where the most popular name for baby boys, for 16 years running, is Mohammed (in its various spellings). Britain is a nation where Islamist extremists have been a primary criminal concern; where social cohesion is fractured, and where the “old world” will shortly be replaced by a culture not just free of Judeo-Christian values but that is adversarial to them.
Instead of writing that the “old world” of British culture, based on Judeo-Christian values, “will be replaced,” it would be truer to write that “if new leaders in Britain do not appear, the values of Islam could replace the country’s traditional values, which are contrary to those values.”
With the necessary corrections that I have supplied above to some of his statements, Haug’s alarm is justified. There is a race now on: will Muslim populations increase so fast in Europe that political leaders will be afraid of antagonizing them, or before that increase occurs, will leaders arise in Europe determined to call a halt to Muslim immigration and to deport many of the Muslims already in Europe, including those convicted of crimes? There are signs of such leaders, including Jordan Bardella in France, Alice Weidel in Germany, Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, and — already in office — the formidable Giorgia Meloni of Italy.

Mosque leader: Cast vote for our brothers

A major mosque faced criticism last night after worshippers were urged to vote for Muslim candidates during this Thursday’s crunch local elections.
Worshippers at Harrow Central Mosque in London were told during Friday prayers last month to ‘give priority’ to any ‘Muslim brother’ on the ballot paper.
The comments – captured on a YouTube livestream – will fuel fears of sectarian politics and of religious leaders attempting to influence voters.
During prayers on April 17, a senior member of the mosque, which has a capacity of 4,500, addressed worshippers and warned them that if they don’t register to vote ‘you can’t vote, and when you can’t vote, then we don’t have the people in the council…’
He added: ‘When the 7th of May election [takes place], stay in the queue and vote for your brothers. If you find any Muslim brother in there, give priority to them.’
Lord Walney, the government’s former extremism tsar, said: ‘This case typifies the alarming rise of sectarianism that’s taking hold in Britain. Religious interference like this … is still deeply damaging to our democracy. For too long our political leaders have been too afraid to call it out.’
The mosque did not respond to a request for comment.

My wife and I visited San Francisco from our Los Angeles home in 1972. We marveled at how beautiful, how clean, how welcoming the City by the Bay was. Later we moved to the area north of San Francisco and watched the steady decline into socialism of that once great city. It is beyond repair, now. We moved to rural America.

Well, Hugh, as much I like many things you say, you are not convincing when describing Nils Haug as “too gloomy” regarding Europe. I don’t see great new leaders arising in pathetic France and Germany and if one does we can be sure that, as in France, the corrupt system will neutralize them as it did Marine Le Penn. Britain has not yet come up with anyone special and Nigel Farage can’t bring himself to acknowledge that Islam is being allowed – by treasonous leaders like Kier Starmer who should be publicly executed for treason – to take over Britain. If I had my way millions of Muslims would be deported – in leaky old Greek cargo ships that would be torpedoed out at sea. Raping Pakistani rapists would be castrated without anesthetic.

If you monitor the goings on in Europe and the UK you can see that the worm is slowly turning. Unfortunately, because of their past practices rectifying it will be grim at the very least. Actions have consequences and the consequences only materialize after the actions have already been enacted. My prediction is that we will forget about WWI or WWII when WWIII eventually emerges. All the pieces have been set in place. It is only a matter of time before it unfolds and it is going to be bloody beyond anyone’s wildest imagination. Sure glad I am not young because I pity the ones who will be caught up in the coming conflagration.

The term ‘radical muslims’ is ridiculous. If you are a muslim, you are a radical. Muslims have publicly stated what their intentions are and I don’t understand why so few people believe them, especially if they have studied islamic history,.As for Megan Kelly, I don’t watch her but she of all people should know what muslims are and the misery and destruction they wreak. Islamophobia is another term that is meaningless but terrifies dhimmi politicians. Not all muslims will commit violent acts but the ones who do are usually the last ones you would ever expect to go out and blow up a mall or theater. As a Christian it is not my duty to defend these barbarian savages but to warn as many people as I possibly can that they are subhuman demons who actually believe they are superior to all other people, that islam is the answer to all evil. Islam is the epitome of evil. They are using our courts and laws against us and devising schemes and plans to accomplish their mission. They should all be sent back from whence they came, t God help Europe and its treasonous leaders. The leaders want islam to conquer Europe but WHY? And why won’t the people rise up en masse and fight back? If it takes a war to get rid of the invaders, start fighting.
