When Nazi saboteurs were caught invading the United States, they received a brief trial followed by an even briefer execution. The personnel who handled it understood their jobs and were working for their country. Ask yourselves who the people involved in this farce are working for?
The USS Cole bombing was one of the most prominent pre 9/11 attacks on American personnel by Al Qaeda. The endless trial is still being delayed.
The military judge in the U.S.S. Cole bombing case on Monday reset the start of jury selection to Oct. 19, more than 26 years after the suicide bombing in a port in the Middle East killed 17 U.S. sailors and wounded dozens of others.
Some Navy shipmates who survived the Cole attack and the relatives of victims of both the Cole and Sept. 11 attacks have died waiting for the trials to begin. Family members have been traveling to the base since the arraignment in 2011 to watch pretrial proceedings.
Judges at the U.S. naval station in Cuba have set and then abandoned about 10 earlier trial start dates. Pretrial litigation has gone on so long, since Mr. Nashiri was charged in 2011, that three previous judges and all of the initial defense and prosecution lawyers retired from the case or left it for personal or professional reasons.
It’s long since been obvious that the military legal people involved in this are the problem. And the entire problem would have been solved if we had simply executed enemy combatants the way we did during WWII instead of letting the enemy within play this game.

Just look at how Luigi Mangione’s trial is still going on and that of that desultory excuse for a human being, Tyler Robinson, the one who brutally murdered Charlie Kirk. America’s legal system in many respects has become a cruel parody of itself and I write this as the lawyer that I am. Oh yeah, justice delayed is justice denied. Happening now big time in America. Total disgrace.

That jihad sucide/homicide attack against the USS Cole and its crewmen on October 12t 2000 does bring up the controversy of when the United States her first violent conflict with the forces of Islam. The captain of the USS Cole declared that 10/12/00 was the real date of America’s bloody conflict began and not on 9/11.
Some American historians believe that it was during the Presidential of Thomas Jefferson , when he ordered the Us military to use force to stop those vicious violent lawless Muslims known as the Barbary pirates. This occurred in the years of 1801 to 1805.
This debate continues when scholars believe that this America/Islam conflict on November 4th 1979 when Muslim terrorists invaded the US Embassy in Iran and then kidnapped the American citizens in it.
This controversy continues further in later dates as with the j Muslim terrorist /murder bombing of American barrack and the US Embassy bombing ,both in Beirut ,Lebanon in the year 1983. After that two different US Embassy mass murder jihad attacks in two African nations.

Especially the three words, “executed enemy combatants’” In this special called case it’s “executed that enemy combatant” meaning that Muslim terrorist. Nashiri.

This also this may extent to the criminal courts which h included punishment for the evil doer. If the Bible student examines more closely the specific verse number four he or she will discover that the scripture even refers to the government executor as type of minister of God to punish such men.
Therefore, that evil murderous Muslim terrorist, Nashiri.,in the light of the Bible, should be put to death.
In conclusion the people who use their constitutional right to speak out against capital punishment do and should have the right of freedom of speech and expression to let other know how they feel on the subject of capital punishment. Nevertheless, they either don’t know or do know but couldn’t care less that they are misusing the Bible in quoting Exodus 20:13 out of context.
Some of the anti –capital punishment feel might feel real righteous and pious by quoting that single verse out of the whole Bible , still in spite of the “pious emotions” some of them might have ,they are still misusing the Bible.

With this twenty- first century war of ideas since September 11, 2001 with the threats from the many dangerous and deadly malice-filled jihadists of different menacing jihad entities as ISIS and al Qaeda and even more now with this current war that menacing threating belligerent and hostile anti- United States Islamic regime of Iran. Therefore, it’s very important, practical and even necessary a strong US military.
It’s likewise a very good thing to remember the wisdom of two of America’s Founding Fathers, especially now since it’s Armed Forces Day.
George Washington who, rightly, declared, “To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.” He also, wisely, said “However pacific the general policy of a nation may be , it ought never to be without an adequate stock of military knowledge for emergencies.” Of course, Washington also included weapons along with knowledge.
One of the other and related reasons who all this crucial with this post 9/11 world has been explained by Thomas Jefferson who has advice with applies even more now since his own time ,because of the vicious irrational savage murderous violence by the Muslim terrorists . For Mr., Jefferson had, truly, written, “With ever barbarous people….force is law.”
