Why was he running around loose in Sandy, Utah after being charged with terrorism in October 2024?

SALT LAKE CITY — A man who was previously charged for making terrorism threats against the Sandy police department was shot and killed by a Utah Highway Patrol trooper last Friday afternoon on I-15.

The driver, identified Thursday as Sayed Mousavi, 29, of Sandy, hit the trooper’s vehicle about 5 p.m. near 4500 South on I-15, and kept going, before coming to a stop near 3500 South, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.

The trooper started to approach Mousavi after he stopped and got out of his car on the freeway. Mousavi allegedly pulled out a knife, “leading to the trooper discharging their firearm,” the Utah Department of Public Safety said in its updated release on Thursday.

Mousavi died at the scene, and the trooper was uninjured.

In October 2024, Mousavi was charged with terrorism, failure to respond to an officer’s signal to stop and driving on a suspended or revoked license after fleeing from police, according to court documents.

After he was arrested, Mousavi allegedly said he was going to shoot up the Sandy Police Department and stated several times that as soon as he was released, he would kill Americans, charging documents stated….

    • I could not agree more somehistory.
      The enemy is behind tje gates as was posted here a while ago.
      We need to adjust the rules for these people, but we wont and will have more of this.
      How do you deal with a group who worship death ? I dont think you can.
      We really need some good ideas and it should be addressed now while we have an understanding administration in office. These animals were just another D vote at the ballot box. I am frustrated and perplexed.
      Meanwhile they are considering putting Islam in yhe school curriculum in Texas, IN TEXAS, Very scary.

    • Hitler in Mein Kampf said exactly what he was going to do, but almost everybody was asleep at the switch. Even worse, The New York Times and other print media, characterized Hitler’s rants as mere rhetoric. The only ones that took Hitler at his word was Churchill his advisors, and some cartoonists.
      So when a Muzzie claims he will kill all the infidels, the stupid judges refuse to incarcerate him and deny bail under the public danger exception. So the Muzzie disappears and commits his jihad elsewhere.

      • What Taffy said is the gospel. We cannot continue ue as a civilization if we ignore this. Trouble ahead if we co ti ue to ignore this. The dems cant get enough of the Allah charade.
        Pay attention and start the deportation of every Muslim now. All must go. Harsh no. Not as harsh as what will happen if we ignore this.

  6. Thia story ended the way all such stories end. With the death of the murderous Muslim. Just hope Democrats in Congress don’t take up a Muslim case ( CAIR may begin) trying to have the officer who was forced to shoot and kill this terrorist, brought up on some phony charge.

    • Yeah, about that. Who were the prosecutor and judge that allowed this moslem out on the street after his actions and threats?
      Was this ANOTHER case of not guilty by reason of insanity?
      Why no deportation?
