UK: Southport inquiry chairman says ‘this culture has to end’ after uncovering multiple failures before attack

Axel Rudakubana murdered three little girls in the Southport. The British government initially lied about the attack in the face of anti-mass migration protests across the country, all while the government cracked down on the protesters to protect its mass migration agenda. But the truth did eventually come out.

The Keir Starmer government has abandoned responsibility for national security.

A series of unacceptable systematic failures enabled Rudakubana to carry out his barbarity against children:

Other failures listed by Sir Adrian included poor information management and sharing, the excusing of AR’s behaviour on the basis of perceived or diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the failure to oversee and intervene in AR’s online behaviour, and the role of the teenager’s parents.

It is common for those who fight against “Islamophobia” at any cost to try to obscure the fact that violent attacks are instances of jihad. They do this by attributing mental illness to the attacker, even when he may have screamed “Allahu akbar” during his attack. The media then hides his name until public emotions die down. In this case, Rudakubana had a “jihad manual,” but his name was concealed more for fear that the public would turn against the mass migration agenda in a way that would threaten the ability of the Labour government to remain in power.

Whether the “culture” of coverup, incompetence and failures ever ends in Britain, as Sir Adrian Fulford hopes that it will, comes down to the leadership and policies governing the country.

The chairman of the Southport inquiry has demanded a change in culture after uncovering a series of damning failures ahead of the attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

Sir Adrian Fulford, who released his 700-page report today, used variations of the word “fail” 295 times as he set out 67 recommendations.

The inquiry was called after AR, who GB News has chosen not to name at the request of the victims’ families, killed three girls who attended a dance class in the Merseyside town.

Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, were murdered when the 19-year-old entered the dance class armed with a knife on July 29, 2024.

The report sets out key failures that “overlapped and exacerbated” AR’s ability to carry out the attack.

Sir Adrian identified Lancashire Constabulary’s Community Safety team’s response to handing over AR’s case to Prevent as a key issue.

Another failure centred around Prevent declining to refer AR to a channel panel on three occasions.

The report added: “Far too often, AR’s ‘case’ was passed from one public sector agency to another in an inappropriate merry-go-round of referrals, assessments, case-closures and ‘hand-offs.’…

  1. Say what you want, but the UK is surrendering to the invaders. UK leadership is blind by choice. It is mass delusion of biblical proportions. (See 2nd Thessalonians chapter 3) It will keep getting worse until the Islamic call to prayer to the demon named Allah fills the land with a nation in fearful submission.

      Whatever happens, Great Britain as was, is over.

      • I was around when “Guns for Britain” was initiated in the opening days of WWII to arm the average Brit with a weapon from private USA citizen donations to combat the imminent threat of a German invasion. It may be necessary to initiate another Guns for Britain campaign, as the UK government has emasculated its subjects of any and all means to defend itself.

        • In 1940 Americans owned approximately 45 million guns. In 2025 Americans owned approximately 500 to 540 million guns. Also, in a 2025 comparison to 1940, the quality and lethality of privately owned America guns has improved significantly.

        • The UK population in 2026 is approximately 70 million. Assuming that not all of them are patriots we could gift every Brit patriot with two guns and still have over 400 million guns among ourselves. Of course if we did that, shortly after, the gun stores in the USA would be crowded.

        • The one thing that the patriots of Britain have that no people in any other country in the world have is the support of dedicated powerful and unyielding American patriots. Could any country trust the Russians to have their back no matter what? Could any country trust the Chinese to have their back no matter what? Britain and its patriots, not any other people in Europe or throughout the world, has the patriots of the USA behind them all the way.

          British patriots are more powerful than they know and that is because of the backing of USA patriots. That is a good thing. Yes, the USA has other allies but some are allies some are not. Not so long ago, the British empire along with Americans, Europe was easy to take compared to the Pacific. And today, we Americans have Japan as allies. In the world some things change, some things stay the same, some things go bad.

        • Your British ruling class is excluded from that relationship. You all might want to let them know that. Loud and often. Be benevolent, give them a chance to repent but if the don’t…well you know. I know you British patriots have pride in your country and would prefer to do it on your own if possible. We American patriots respect that.

          You British patriots shouldn’t think that American patriots having your back is a loss of pride but quite the opposite. You should have pride because American patriots consider you worthy of their backing. The British empire, the Empire of Japan, two countries that in our history gave us the toughest fight we ever had are our allies now. I, as an American, like that particular set of circumstances.

  3. This was a young African who hated white people.
    Much emphasis was placed upon him being born in Wales and had been a choirboy.
    A photo of him aged about 10 years was used by the MSM.

    This person was pure Rwandan.
    His parents should not have been allowed into Britain.
    As to whether he was actually a “jihadist” is not clear. If so, it was a secondary factor to his anti white racism.
    The little girls he killed were each stabbed over a hundred times. He attempted decapitation and injured or maimed 8 others.
    Afterwards he said ” I’m glad they are dead”
    He showed no remorse and sat smirking in court.
    Rupert Lowe the leader of the new Nationalist political party Restore Britain, says he should be hanged.
    Under a Restore Government there would be a referendum on the death penalty.

    A flash protest outside Downing Street a few days after the murder, lead to many who attended being arrested.
    I know because I was there myself and saw the heavy handed police response.

    Every week hundreds of illegal feral immigrants are allowed into our country and
    never are they deported. Kept at our expense.
    Many are African. They have little or no concept of how to behave nor do they respect for us or our laws.

    We should not have to live alongside such people.

    • If behavior is about 50% genetically determined this murderer should never be allowed to reproduce. That is a reason, besides prevention, to reinstate capital punishment.

      Axel Rudakubana knows and knew before the crime that in a Britain prison, unlike the justice for murdering little girls in a Muslim nation, he will have good conditions, meals, housing, and Muslim friends. He might even garner some perks, fooling prison officials with the “good behavior” of Dawah.

      • Apparently this guy may have been a jihadist but was born to Christian parents. News reports have attempted to dissuade any notion that he was a Muslim yet provide no proof such as church attendance or church youth group participation. Islam has the easiest entry with just reciting the Shahada.

        If he is not Muslim, my apologies. However capital punishment is needed to make prospective killers think and not be rewarded for grotesque murders with less than life sentences or a future opportunity to reproduce.

        • I read and posted a link to a report on him and his parents yesterday. The report said his parents didn’t do a thing to try to prevent anything their son did….nothing, nada, zip.
          If….and it’s a huge “if”….his parents claim Christianity, they have a very poor way of showing it. Seeing their son do such things and they did nothing to try to prevent his evil behavior is not Christian. “Rotten trees produce rotten fruit.”

          And starmer has a lot of blood…little girls’ blood….on his hands for his part in bringing the scum to this point.

      • And according to Tommy Robinson, who has been in prison and seen the situation for himself, British prisons have become recruitment centers for Islam. Something radical should happen in the UK to prevent this.

I’ll say it yet again because it’s been a while: this is not a “failure” on the part of any branch of the British government; this is exactly the outcome they hope for every day, because their goal is very clearly to crush the spirit and hopes of their own native people. This is on the direct orders of the WEF, EU, and UN, and they were already well prepared and frankly delighted to receive and act on those orders. Someday this will all come to light, God willing, but meanwhile – resist with every fiber of your beings.

    “The parents of the Southport killer should be deported to Rwanda, Robert Jenrick has said.

    In a report published on Monday, a public inquiry partly blamed Axel Rudakubana’s mother and father for the murder of three children on July 29, 2024.

    Sir Adrian Fulford, the inquiry chairman, said the atrocity would not have happened if Alphonse Rudakubana and Laetitia Muzayire had done “what they morally ought to have done” in relation to their son.
    Mr Jenrick, Reform UK’s Treasury spokesman, said the couple had “behaved shamefully” and should face criminal charges.

    Sir Adrian criticised the pair – who fled Rwanda after the fallout from the 1994 genocide and came to the UK in 2002 – for failing to set boundaries for Rudakubana, allowing weapons into their home and not reporting key warning signs before the attack.
    Speaking to the Daily T podcast, Mr Jenrick said: “The family of Axel Rudakubana have behaved shamefully.

    “I know as a parent it’s very tough when you face these situations. Of course, we can all understand that and have a degree of empathy, but these parents knew that Axel Rudakubana was forming an arsenal of weapons. They were fearful for their own lives, and yet they didn’t do anything about it, and that would have prevented these appalling attacks.”

    In a two-volume report spanning more than 763 pages, Sir Adrian described the “complete abandonment of responsibility” by the killer’s mother and father as “utterly unconscionable”.

    Calling for police to investigate the couple, the Reform MP added: “These individuals should face criminal charges and they should be deported. They came here for asylum. They enjoyed the hospitality [and] generosity of the UK, and they’ve abused that.”
    The Southport inquiry heard how the teenager’s parents knew their son was hoarding knives, was accessing “chilling” violent content online and had been making poison in his room.

    The inquiry found that from December 2019, when their son brought weapons to school with apparent intent to kill, his behaviour escalated. Sir Adrian said his parents had failed to challenge him, allowed him to control the household, and withheld crucial information from authorities.

    He concluded that they bore “very considerable responsibility,” stating that, if they had shared what they knew, their son would have been likely to have been arrested before the Southport attack.
    In November, Dion, 21, told the inquiry that Axel was a “ticking timebomb”, saying the family lived in fear of his violent outbursts.

    He messaged a friend in July 2024 stating that their father had indicated his younger brother was dangerous and could kill. Mr Rudakubana told the inquiry he regretted not calling the police after he accepted a delivery of a machete his son had ordered.”

  7. The parents’ names indicate that they are of Christian, and possibly Roman Catholic, heritage. Since discipleship is not heritable, heritage is not the same as being a committed Christian. Axel sounds to me as though he was demon-possessed, which may partly account for the parents’ lack of initiative in the matter, because demons can be very intimidatory. If this is the case, the fact that they could not set limits would be another indication of not being active Christians, because Mark 16:17 says “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;” and, even if their churchmanship led them to believe that such authority was available only to the ordained, they should have consulted with such a person.
