Donald Trump has now told the world what he really really thinks of a quartet of former supporters.

US President Donald Trump insulted four far Right influencers, claiming that Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones all “think it is wonderful for Iran… to have a nuclear weapon” because they are “stupid people” and have “low IQs” in a Truth Social post on Thursday night.
The four influencers have been “fighting” Trump for years, the president wrote.
“They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! Look at their past, look at their record. They don’t have what it takes, and they never did!” Trump said.
“They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some “free” and cheap publicity,” he added, commenting that they are trying to “get some ‘clicks'” for their “Third Rate Podcasts.”
The four influencers hold views that are the “opposite of MAGA,” according to the president. The Make America Great Again movement “agrees with me,” he added….
Trump also attacked the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board as “one of the worst and most inaccurate “Editorial Boards” in the World.”
This comes after the WSJ “stated that I “declared premature victory in Iran.” Actually, it is a Victory, and there’s nothing “premature” about it! Because of me, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON and, very quickly, you’ll see Oil start flowing, with or without the help of Iran and, to me, it makes no difference, either way,” Trump clarified.
“The Wall Street Journal will, as usual, live to eat their words. They are always quick to criticize, but never to admit when they’re wrong, which is most of the time,” his post concluded.
In the still small hours of the night, Trump heard a voice tell him: Tell us what you think, what you really really think.
And so he did.

What happened with those four is that they ran into people on the far right — and I mean the actual far right and not what leftists call the far right — and they had no defense against them. They simply got sucked in by rhetoric that they had not encountered before, and they were not sufficiently trained in critical thinking to realize that these people are way off base. And part of this is that they do bring up genuine facts, but they also mix it with ridiculous and wild conspiracy theories.
Consider the claim that the Jews were behind 9/11, which they orchestrated in order to get us to fight their wars for them. First, there was no guarantee that we were going to fight any wars. If I had been in charge, my first priority would have been to expel as many Muslims as possible. Fighting a war to kill Osama bin Laden was misguided since, as a Muslim said after we succeeded in killing him, “there are a billion Osamas.”
Second, the first war we fought was in Afghanistan, which was hardly a war that Israel wanted us to fight.
Third, there was no guarantee that we would fight any other wars.
Fourth, according to the far right, Jews control the banks and the media, so there was no need to have engaged in a terrorist attack when they could have used the power they already had to force us into wars they wanted us to fight.
Fifth, even if a terrorist attack was warranted, that doesn’t mean that an attack that killed lots of innocent people is the sort of terrorist attack that should have been done. An attack on our electric grid would have been just as effective and would not have involved the direct killing of so many people.
Sixth, anyone who was paying attention to the Muslim world before 9/11 knew that it was quite plausible that Muslims were behind it.
Seventh, there have been many attacks by Muslims against other people, mostly non-Muslim, but sometimes even including other Muslims. It is absurd to think that all of them were done by Mossad. The terrorist attack on India’s Parliament in December of 2001 and the shooting of Malala are two such examples.
Since no one pays much attention to the far right, there is no reservoir of commonly known criticisms against them, so these four had nothing to fall back on that would have led them to see how ridiculous their conspiracy theories are.

I find it incredible that these four are comfortable with Iran having nuclear capabilities. If the US didn’t take them out who ever would? Iran with nukes would totally control all of Europe. Do you think France and Great Britain would ever respond in kind to an Iranian nuke? I don’t think either has the balls.

I support Trump overall and voted for him three times. Right now, he is the best hope for not only America to survive but the West in general. Having said this, I do wish he would largely cease criticizing people like Carlson, Kelly, Owens, et al. and rather just ignore them. This was exactly what President Eisenhower did about the problem who was Joseph McCarthy, i.e., that ignoring him was the optimal way of dealing with him.
And for the record, Eisenhower mostly agreed with what McCarthy averred (but certainly not about George Marshall) but deplored McCarthy’s sloppy methods. Well here it is somewhat the reverse, to wit, Trump is not so much upset with the methods of people like Carlson and Kelly, which often mirror his own, but with WHAT they say. And here I am fully with Trump while still wishing he would ignore rather than criticize. After all, pursuing the withering on the vine approach is not a bad strategy much of the time.
