Texas: Muslims lobbying State Board of Education for ‘Islamic issues to be included in social studies’

If the “lobbying Muslims” succeed, it is American taxpayers who will foot the bill, as dhimmis, for a deceitful curriculum.

The curriculum won’t tell you that the highest calling in Islam is “martyrdom” (killing infidels and being killed in the process), nor about the ongoing jihad toward a global caliphate. It will teach children to trust in Islam as a religion of peace like any other, while stealthily advancing the “divine” Sharia.

How peculiar that the Texas Coalition on Human Rights is working alongside River Oaks Islamic Center to promote Islamic propaganda, while the former disregards myriad human rights abuses that are committed across the Islamic world in the name of the Sharia. Such so-called human rights organizations need to be scrutinized in the West, since many of them — like the Texas Coalition on Human Rights— are in violation of the basic principles of human rights and the idea of equal rights for all.

 With the State Board of Education set to consider changes to Texas’ public school curriculum on social studies, Muslim activists are reportedly planning to push for more inclusion of Islamic history and dogma. That has conservative activists calling for Texans to speak out.

Fran Rhodes, who leads the True Texas Project, raised alarms on Wednesday morning that items on the SBOE’s April 7 agenda are set to be used by Muslims engaged in “lobbying for Islamic issues to be included in social studies.” The SBOE meeting is set to run through April 10 in Austin.

Curriculum in government schools must adhere to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. The proposed revisions to the social studies TEKS have drawn praise from many education reformers—but derision from Islamists keen on inserting their religion into the classroom.

A forum sponsored last month by the Texas Coalition on Human Rights and the River Oaks Islamic Center claimed that the standards “promote exclusionary and Islamophobic narratives.” Their solution is to “counter these narratives and take action” at next week’s SBOE meeting.

The state is geographically divided into 15 SBOE districts, with members elected to four-year terms.

“No outside organization writes curriculum for Texas,” wrote SBOE Member Pam Little(R) on social media. She added that she is “against any form of Sharia law or religious doctrine being pushed into our schools, standards, or instructional materials.”…

  1. Teaching facts about Islam is a great idea. But a solid NO to Islamopandering.

    • Except it won’t just be about teaching the “facts” about islam. It will end up as being out and out proselytizing for the islamic faith whether the captive students want to hear about it or not. That’s what it always ends up being. Proselytizing for Allah and its false prophet Mohammad.

      • Maybe meet them “half-way”: teach them about islam from books of Mr Spencer – most of them, and others – Andrew Bostom, Srdja Trifkovic, Ali Sina, Hugh Fitzgerald, Rebecca Bynum, Bat Yeor and several others

        In other words, we get to pick the material they learn from

          And get the high-schoolers to read Churchill’s “The Story of the Malakand Field Force” and the original unexpurgated and unabridged “The River Wars”. In the first of those two books – one of Churchill’s earliest works – he sums up Islam as “the religion of blood and war”.
          Churchill had been in battle against fanatical jihadis and ghazi raiders; he knew exactly what he was talking about!!
          They could also read substantial excerpts from John Quincy Adams’ essays on the Greek war of independence, and on the Russo-Turkish wars. Adams’ lapidary summary of the essence of Islam.. and of the necessity and effectiveness of deploying armed defence against it! – is eye-opening. Adams also speaks of mohammedan deceptiveness… He sees clearly that Mohammedans use both force and fraud.
          The testimonies of declared ex-Muslims are also very useful and illuminating.. e.g. Hannah Shah’s “The Imam’s Daughter” and the works of people like Daniel Shayesteh (who exposes the tactic of hijra, the immigration-invasion, and the way in which Mosques are essentially forward operating bases of Jihad!) and Patrick Sookhdeo (who described the tactics deployed for the Islamisation of the UK, long long long before any of the ‘developments’ we have seen in that front in the past ten years); those works throw light on the way Islam is advancing outside ‘the west’, in countries like India, and on the way in which places like Indonesia were islamised, in the past.

    • What would be perfect is if the contributors to the Comments section of Jihad Watch could write the school instructional matter to teach the perversities of Islam. Not that I hold my breath, you understand…

  2. Allah and his Muslims detest the truth because Allah and his Muslims are deceivers as taught in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 3:54; 7:99; 8:30; 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Muslims propaganda and lies help Muslims gain more taxpayer money, more political power, and more government control while Muslims fund, create, and promote Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Organizations from Mosques, Muslim Homes, Muslim Schools, Islamic Centers, Muslim Non-Profits, etc. ALLAH claims MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than serpentine Allah in Islam’s Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.”

    Allah in Qur’an 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], DO NOT TAKE the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is of them. Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” Also, Allah says that Jews are the worst enemies of the Muslims in Qur’an 5:82.

    Islam’s Muslims are to be Seditionist Terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and their LIVES. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

  4. During the last century, when I was in college one of the courses t had was “comparative Religions” It covered all the mayor, religions of the world , not only Islam. Nevertheless the time in that class spent on Islam i found very interesting, ,my nickname for it was “a center for Islamic studies.”

    The point being the schools of :”higher education ” that i know of in the last century were obviously less infiltrated and influenced by Islamic lobby organizations than in the year 2026.

  5. Once you open the public schools to one religion (islam) then you open the public schools to _every_ other religion. Christian, Jewish, Catholic, Mormon, Buddhist, Sikh, Hindu, Church of Satan, and that weird little cult down the road. All religions then must be given equal access to the students in the public schools. No exceptions. All religions.

    So yeah, great idea. Open the Texas public schools to every half-baked religion on the planet because there’s no way they’ll be able to stop it. The Texas Board of Education allows islam into the curriculum they’ll have to allow and all religions into the curriculum as legally there will no way to deny other religions the same access.

    Parents should show up when possible and say no-way Jose and if islime is allowed, take the kids out of the schools immediately.

  9. Here is a good example of the U.S. Constitution at work. In this case, the First Amendment.

    All Americans can unite in that they don’t want any official sanction, by the government, from local to federal, of any specific religion. Christians have had to come to grips with this concept, e.g. no public Christian school prayer, lead and organized by the school. In fact, no prayer of any religion, organize and lead by the school, is allowed. Nothing prevents the students from praying privately. As painful as this was for Christians they grasped that the Constitution was protecting them from the government sanctioning another religion – like Islam.

    So now is the time for American citizens to use the First Amendment for its intended purpose. To protect Americans from agents of the government from sanctioning a specific religion. In this case, Islam.

    Since there is no separation of mosque and state in Islam, and Islam IS the state, Muslims do not grasp the First Amendment. Muslims will push for “inclusion” of their religion in school programs. This article doesn’t give specifics of what the Muslims are pushing for in Texas. The Islamic “inclusion” push I’m most familiar with is the “inclusion” of Eid al Ada into the school holiday calendar. This is a religious holiday and school districts should not place it on their calendars as that action, by a local government agency, sanctions a religion by organizing their school calendar around a specific religion’s holiday.

    The U.S. Spring and Winter school holidays are just that, Spring and Winter. Those school breaks are secular. The U.S. no longer officially has Easter and Christmas holidays tied to Christian High Holy Days.

    The prevention of including Islamic religious practices in our public schools must be prevented on the same Constitutional grounds. e.g. Members of a religion are not allowed to come onto school grounds to promote their religion or religious practices, e.g. World Hijab Day.

    Of course I’d rather see all countries get a grasp of what Islam is, see it for the wolf (government) in sheep’s clothing (religion) that it is, and Bar Islam and it’s practitioners at their Borders.
