“A Medicaid fraud scheme that defrauded Minnesota taxpayers out of nearly $11 million”
Abdirashid Ismail Said was the centerpiece of Attorney General Keith X. Ellison’s attempt to pretend that he was also being tough on Somali fraud.
Since Said had already been convicted of Medicaid fraud in 2022, he should never have been allowed to bill Medicaid for anything. And once he was charged, he should never have been released on bail.
But he was and did and now he’s on the run, and we’re all supposed to pretend that Ellison tried really hard and just couldn’t figure things out.
The Minnesota Attorney General announced in December 2023 that Said is responsible for the largest-ever Medicaid fraud case charged by the Minnesota Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
Said is accused of racketeering, perjury and several counts of aiding and abetting theft by swindle.
Investigators say Said defrauded the state’s Medicaid program through his operation of three Medicaid-funded home health care agencies: Faym Health, Prestige Health and Minnesota Home Health Care.
Two others involved in the alleged scheme, Ali Abdirizak Ahmed and Said Awil Ibrahim, were each charged with racketeering and aiding and abetting theft by swindle.
Now you see him, now he’s back in Somalia.
Authorities are searching for a man accused of being the “principal actor” in a Medicaid fraud scheme that defrauded Minnesota taxpayers out of nearly $11 million after he failed to appear in court.
Why would a man who had a family in Kenya (many Somali refugee camps are based there) ever have gotten bail at all? Same reason he was able to keep on charging Medicaid.

I’m fine w/ “muzzie”, which a decade ago was banned on this site. But a better label for them is “mohammedan”, since it pisses them off due to the suggestion that they are a cult (which they are) and worship Muhammad (which they do!) The people on out on parole, they’re gettting already switched up their company names and moved the contracts to new charities owned by family members.
So he must be really dumb. Stealing is rampant in America, and there is a massive system that protects you if you do fraud.
You know, a lot of that money is actually funneled back into Somalia and other countries. The Somalis are moving cash by the millions per day, and it’s still happening. Suit cases full. Meanwhile, I was questioned myself when I had I don’t remember maybe 7 8 9 thousand dollars cash on a flight to charlotte.

They do not ‘get it’ that a Muslim’s first allegiance is to Islam, not any country. Ii’s evident that you have some really treacherous people, enemies, residing in America and need ton start mass deportations back to Muslim countries. Send Ellison with them , but better still, drop him off the tail of a Hercules C-130 at 10,000 feet over Pakisrtan.

One of the most helpful ways for a District Attorney to aid criminals,
without being seen as directly aiding criminals,
is to be really bad at performing the job of District Attorney.
In the case of this criminal being arrested for committing horrendous Fraud Jihad,
after his already being previously convicted of horrendous Fraud Jihad:
1.) Grant the criminal bail.
2.) Don’t require the criminal to surrender his passport.
Ellison’s deniability, doesn’t seem very plausible.
I hope the Feds are going to be willing to effectively step in when the MN judicial system fails to prove their case of “wrongdoing”.

Ellison served two terms as MN5’s congressman. A revert in a very Muslim infested district. But it wasn’t just Somali Muslims who put him in office. No idiot ‘Minnesota Nice’ Christians made the difference.
He was succeeded by Ilhan Omar: a dyed in the wool Somali Muslim. And it wasn’t Somali Muslims alone who voted her in. No, the same Minnesota Christian’s deserve that credit, too.

Elison seem to be in on the Somali daycare fraud. It would not surprise me if he was getting a piece of the Medicaid fraud too.
The way this Somali was able to continue his fraud after conviction was simple. He just formed a new corporation, probably using one of those UPS mailboxes as an address. Everything else was done online. I fault the Medicaid authorities for not ferreting out this fraud. Every Medicaid provider should have a physical address and undergo a physical audit with a sampling of the patients treated.
