Only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” believe there is any problem with Islam itself, right? After all, it’s one of the world’s great religions. Sure, there are Islamic terrorists, but there are “extremists” of all religions, right? And yes, those Islamic terrorists are fond of quoting chapter and verse of the Qur’an to justify violence and mayhem, but there are disturbing passages in the Bible, too, right? The overwhelming majority of Muslims in the U.S. are peaceful, loyal, stable, law-abiding citizens, right? We should never confuse opposition to terrorism with condemnation of the Islamic faith, right?
After all, no less a luminary than Tucker Carlson himself recently explained how mockery of Islam was mockery of Christianity and mockery of God Himself, and that no president of the United States, and by extension no decent human being, should be engaging in it. Leftists, and many patriots as well, believe that the anti-Sharia initiatives that Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and others have recently spearheaded are wrong and offensive, because they target the religion of Islam itself, rather than just the “extremists.”
And yet there is considerable evidence that there is indeed something wrong with Islam itself, and that this fact should be taken into account as the Muslim population of the United States rises and immigrants from Muslim-majority countries keep pouring in. While noting the fact will mightily offend the woke and the Carlsonites, The Tragedy of Islam: Failure and Excuses shows that Islam is actually bad for both individuals and societies, and that Winston Churchill had a point when he declared that “individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”
The way in which Islam is bad for individuals is clear enough. Contrary to the still-prevalent popular assumption, the Qur’an really does contain numerous exhortations to violence against unbelievers, and all too many Muslims today regard those passages with extreme seriousness. A steady stream of converts to Islam end up being violent jihadis, not because they misunderstand their newfound faith, but because they read their new holy book and take its commands to heart.
The worst aspect of this, aside from the ever-growing body count, is the fact that when these jihadis commit murder in the name of Islam, they think they’re performing a righteous act. They are the embodiment of the words of Jesus: “The hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.” (John 16:2)
It isn’t just its many justifications of violence and terrorism, however, that make Islam bad for individuals. Nor is it the draconian aspects of Sharia, which create an environment of fear in which the believers are simply too terrified in the face of threats of hell and, in this life, of beheading or amputation or stoning to do anything but obey. Islam is bad for modern society because it was organized and streamlined for war by promoting carnal rewards to men for dying in battle. The only guarantees Islam offers for Allah’s rewards is for dying as a martyr. Then we wonder why Muslim men, who seriously attempt suicide, kill infidels on the way out of life. We watch officials, feigning to be drooling imbeciles, declare they don’t know the motives for jihad attacks.
Islam was organized like a polygamous Sect with women being the core constituent, the glue that holds the entire culture together. Women are groomed from infancy to be obedient to the supremacy of men, the main justification being given is their dependence on men’s support. Islam and its men are very insistent on maintaining that dependency with religious rules limiting the influence and wealth of women, literally declaring women to be inferior. And it allows mistreatment of women including beating and sex on demand by husbands.
This arrangement made some sense when Islam was growing through plunder of other societies but makes little sense in the modern world and has continued in the interest of keeping Muslim women compliant to men though the wife(wives) might be more capable as breadwinners and more intelligent.
Islam knew women were its “Achilles Heel” from the beginning and prohibited Muslim women from marrying an infidel while allowing it to men with the understanding the woman is either a slave or will be forced to convert to Islam.
In borrowing from Christianity, Islam completely missed the message. It is still stuck in pre-Jesus religion of demerit from an angry God who emphasizes torture for sinning while Christianity offered redemption for repentance and belief.
It’s a stark difference. Make a mistake and I’ll torture you with the rest of the infidels VERSUS repent and I’ll save you because I love you.
Islam isn’t fit for the modern world.

Muslims took over countries three times in the last fifty years: Iran in 1979, Afghanistan in 1995, and Afghanistan again in 2021. The new regimes were about as awful and unenlightened as one could imagine, and they were especially awful toward women. The new regime in Iran also murdered thousands of leftists. Anyone who thinks an Islamic takeover of the West will be benign should explain why it will be different this time.

I think the reason Islam is so hateful towards women is that women tend to be loving and caring about their children and neighbors. Islam is totally against love and caring and only represent violence.

Those are facts, Old Guy. Also, psychopaths look for those whom they can victimize. Women are weaker than men. It’s easy for the large muzzie male to beat up on females smaller and weaker.

Women scorned Mohammed therefore when he wrote the Koran he put the hate he felt towards women so all women could feel the pain they inflicted on him.
The horror of it all is that since that book was written and the way he made followers to adhere to his writing on the treatment of women not a single item has been changed for over 1400 years.
Islam is a pro at being the victim using religion as the key stating people do not understand however Islam cannot run from the truth and this is where America can win this battle to remove Islam once and for all.
Use Islam against itself, use their teachings so speak the truth and not just “No Sharia” in America, the truth must be exposed.
