Nigeria: Muslims storm Christian wedding reception, murdering 13 Christians and kidnapping dozens more

“Herdsmen Kill 13 Christians at Wedding Reception in Nigeria,” Morning Star News, April 1, 2026:

ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Fulani herdsmen on Sunday (March 29) attacked a Christian wedding reception in Kaduna state, Nigeria, killing 13 Christians and kidnapping dozens of others, a local leader said.

In predominantly Christian Kahir village, Kagarko County, community leader Musa Adamu said Fulani herdsmen attacked at about 11 p.m. during the reception following the wedding.

“The attackers, who we know to be Fulani herdsmen, invaded our community in large numbers,” Adamu told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “They were armed with deadly weapons which they used in shooting indiscriminately at our people inside the hall where the wedding reception was held; 13 community members who are Christians were killed, while several others sustained gunshot injuries.”

He identified those slain as Bako Danjuma, Williams Luka, Peter Williams, Joseph Yakubu, Victor Peter, John Dan Asabe, Angulu Markus, Maikano Aribi, Douglas John, Ado Yakubu, Zaphaniah Alhaji, Joseph Kaddah and Francis Unguwa Doya.

Some of the wounded were taken to General Hospital in Kagarko, while those with more severe injuries were referred to other medical facilities in the city of Kaduna, Adamu said….

More Christians were killed in Nigeria than in any other country from Oct. 1, 2024 to Sept. 30, 2025, according to Open Doors’ 2026 World Watch List. Of the 4,849 Christians killed worldwide for their faith during that period, 3,490 – 72 percent – were Nigerians, an increase from 3,100 the prior year. Nigeria ranked No. 7 on the WWL list of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.

Numbering in the millions across Nigeria and the Sahel, predominantly Muslim Fulani comprise hundreds of clans of many different lineages who do not hold extremist views, but some Fulani do adhere to radical Islamist ideology, the United Kingdom’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom or Belief (APPG) noted in a 2020 report….

Also, Muslim Islamization includes Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Organizations using Governments, Bureaucracies, Mosques, Muslim Homes, Muslim Schools, Islamic Centers, Sharia Courts, Muslim Non-Profits, etc. to fund, to educate, and to propagate Muslim Propaganda and Islamic Law against all Non-Muslims. After all, Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

    Allah rewards Muslims with Paradise when they kill and are killed in Jihad, war against Non-Muslims to make Islam supreme. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah commands Muslims to fight Non-Muslims to establish Islamic Law, Sharia. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day[Non-Muslims]. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[in Islamic Law], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have given the book[Jews and Christians] until they pay the jizyah[Extortion Payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

  3. The U.S. and the West must stop debating and analyzing about Islam. Accepting it for what it is and now defend ourselves.

  4. This will not stop until Christ returns “in a flaming fire” to execute Justice and bring vengeance upon those who murder His children. And that time, thank God, is drawing near.

    Mockers can mock and so-called “herdsmen” (there is not a man among them) can slaughter while their government looks on with approval. But the “vengeance” and the Divine Justice are coming.

  6. US special forces need to covertly arm Christians in Nigeria.

    Some M-16s – with plenty of ammo – along with some grenade launchers.

    After a few counterattacks, those Fulani herdsmen (a.k.a. muslims) will back off.

    • James, there are not enough people who care and could “arm” the Christians of nigeria…or sudan, or congo, or niger, or . burkino faso..or uganda…to make it happen.

      How many years now have the muzzies in nigeria been murdering Christians? When the msn carried any news of the slaughter, they tried to make the Christians guilty of killing muzzies and presenting it as a fight for land.

      Jesus said it would be this way until He returns.

  7. I will say this to Nigeria and Syria.Peace and trust will not win the day here.

    I suggest you gather up some money and dial up Pretoria. They will have land mines, heavy ordnance and plenty of ammunition. It is the only thing fervent and zealots understand.

    • Previous comments are all about self-defense or acting in defense of others who are being murdered….by the tens of thousands. Self Defense is not murder. Actions in defense of another, is not murder.

  9. And the POPE has said what about the muslim/islamic attack on Christians around the world. As long as islam is recognized as a religion we are in trouble.

    • It’s a religion. But people HAVE to ‘get’ the fact that it is an *evil* religion… like the cult of Moloch way back when, and like the Aztec human-sacrifice system that sacrificed human beings on top of pyramids. Or the cult of Bacchus in which crazed devotees would chase people through the woods and rip them to pieces with their bare hands.

      Winston Churchill, in “The Story of the Malakand Field Force’ (one of his earliest published works), recounts the wars of the British raj against Mohammedan border raiders from Afghanistan. In that book he describes Islam as “the religion of blood and war”.
      I don’t think that description can be bettered.

      But it might also be described as a ‘religion of the lie’, because of its use and encouragement of every form of deception.. including false claims of victimhood. in practice the ‘nice’ mohammedans – those who are either only (temporarily, for tactical reasons) feigning niceness, or else are (for whatever reason) currently ‘nice’ because they are only semi-practising – function as human shields for the full-on devout jihadis. The Ummah has the goodcop/ badcop game down pat.

      Just recognise the basic system – judged by its own foundation texts and their orthodox interpretations across time, and by the blatantly bloody mass-murdering historic track record – as fundamentally evil, fundamentally hostile supremacist and antihuman… and relentlessly critique it and oppose and halt its advance. The Ummah has to be quarantined … it’s ten times more dangerous than North Korea.

      Bottom line is: got Muslims, got jihad. Guaranteed.

      Only way not to have Jihad: don’t have Muslims inside the gates; and don’t have Muslims next door. If you do have them next door: fortify the boundaries and guard them, forever; and greet all incursions with overwhelming and devastating force.
