This is all entirely in accord with Islamic law. The video is designed to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60). The kidnapping itself is a matter of precise legal directives: “As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, ‘When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [the Truth=Islam] then strike [their] necks’ (Qur’an sura 47, verse 4)” — Al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah (The Laws of Islamic Governance).

Note also that it’s Boko Haram that is issuing an ultimatum to the government, and not the other way around. It’s clear which is the more powerful force.

  1. If one fully grasps what I’m about to state then that person has a highly key understanding of Islam. Here it is: Boko Haram thugs are very good and devout Muslims.

    After all, the Model Man (so sick of this possibly fictional 7th century AD turkey being described as such but I digress) himself said, “I have been made victorious with terror.” (Bukhari Hadith 4.52.220)

    So, take it from here and conclude accordingly, though concluding accordingly has seen a steep decline in the West in recent times. Oh yeah, and such decline helps to explain monumental idiocy like the present Pope providing a prayer rug for Buttlims in the Vatican Library, Angela Merkel back in 2015 stating “Wir schaffen das,” and the brain-dead Biden when POTUS (what a tragedy he was) lifting sanctions on Iran and taking the Houthis off the terrorist watch list.

    Yep, from Boko Haram “doing its thing” in Nigeria and the West going stupid in our era there is a major and devastating connection. Wish there wasn’t such a connection but there is most definitely. Put another way, Boko Haram’s “success” is intricately tied up with the West continuing in its suicidal mode. Nothing should be clearer. Nothing could be clearer.

  2. And their “demand” is…..? The nigerian government hasn’t done anything so far to rescue those kidnapped…and likely repeatedly raped…victims. so what are the armed terrorists demanding or they will share their victims with other terrorists?

    Jesus will one day put an end to this demonic group and all like them, whatever they call themselves or demands they make.

    Whatever the nigerian government decides to do, the muzzies are not likely to care if the victims are shared with other terrorists. Perhaps they even believe they will be, and plan on, receiving some of the victims for themselves.. Why should the muzzie government care when many church leaders all over the world, do not care?

  3. This is how islam has traditionally been spread, by the sword.
    These are nor extremists. They are just your everyday devout and orthodox muslims who are implementing their belief, faith and actions as commanded by the qur’an.

      The pope loving catholic atheist can take the quote or leave it. It is his “desire” to take away all hope of help from the ‘poor people’ for whom his pope cares nothing. If he could take away their faith, they would have absolutely nothing.

        Heaven being a wonderful place to spend eternity we’re told, once they get to the Pearly Gates, what value will earthly retribution provide them?

  7. Just checked, and it appears that neither a rescue, nor, as far as we know, slaughter of the hostages, has yet occurred. Praying.
