Israel’s New and Impregnable Border Security System

Israel learned to its great sorrow on October 7, 2023, that Hamas easily managed to smash through Israel’s border fence, and proceeded to gang-rape, torture, mutilate, and murder 1,200 people, and kidnap 251 more. Since then, Israeli scientists have been burning the midnight oil to create a border protection system that will stop all those who would breach it, and simultaneously alert the IDF to the attempted breach and, within seconds, without human intervention, use live fire to kill those who had tried to do so. Israel Aerospace Industries has successfully completed a series of demonstrations of an innovative system to protect Israel’s borders.

The solution is based on the most advanced algorithms and AI in the field. Although the solution was developed and created according to the needs of Israel’s security forces and is designed to provide both a routine and emergency response to all of the country’s borders, on land, in the air, and at sea, the system was developed with R&D investment funds.

The solution relies on advanced technologies for gathering intelligence from a variety of means, sensors, and platforms that provide a unified intelligence picture, in conjunction with lethal weapons available near the border area and their independent and rapid operation.

The shortening of response and action times, between exposing the threat and thwarting it has been proven operationally, from the intelligence collection and processing stage to deploying lethal weapons and eliminating the threat.

The intelligence and attack capabilities are managed by the central mission system, which processes the data and performs connectivity and communication between all systems in real time, using advanced technologies based on AI until the threat is handled.

Among the new developments demonstrated was a border protection solution that enables a soldier to operate on the battlefield while remotely controlling the autonomous capabilities.

The border protection solution, which has recently impressed both Israeli senior officials and customers from abroad, constitutes a breakthrough in the development and integration of operational capabilities of autonomous air and ground systems for diverse missions on the battlefield….

This remarkable achievement will make Israel, that has one of the highest length-of-border-to-land-area ratios in the world, much more secure. There will no more cross-border surprises, not from Gaza, not from Egypt, not from Jordan, or Syria. And those trying to cross a border into Israel without authorization will find themselves quickly “neutralized.” But it is not Israel alone that will benefit from this advance in border security. The nation most eager to secure its border, and that has already spent tens of billions of dollars on its fence with Mexico, is the United States. Now Washington should recognize the superiority of this new Israeli border security system, both in preventing breaches and in dealing summarily with the would-be breachers. The U.S. will be Israel’s first foreign customer for this advance in border security, and after the fence has been installed along the full length of the border, our government will at last feel much more secure in preventing illegals from crossing into the U.S. from Mexico.

The second market for Israel’s border security system consists of those countries in Western Europe who need to stop the tsunami of illegals, almost all of them Muslims from the Middle East and North Africa, who are flooding into their countries and whom it has been impossible to stop. Now those countries will be able to do so, thanks to the tiny, embattled, unfairly maligned country that for the Western world has become the gift that keeps on giving.
