In Lebanon, soldiers of the IDF recently captured members of Hezbollah’s most elite unit, the Radwan Forces. In interrogating them, the Israelis discovered soldiers whose morale had plummeted, who wanted not to show up for battle, but did so out of fear of being punished by their superior officers, who felt they were now cannon fodder, being sacrificed in order to avenge the death of Ali Khamenei. Hezbollah Radwan Force terrorists captured last week by the IDF’s Givati Brigade revealed that their organization is facing a sharp decline in morale, and operatives feel that “Hezbollah is sending us to die…to avenge Ali Khamenei.”
In an interrogation session with the IDF’s Unit 504, one of the operatives explained that “morale is on the floor. No one has the strength to go out and fight.”
Both operatives noted that they were worn out after a year and a half of war, referring to Hezbollah’s involvement in the 2023-2025 Israel-Hamas war. They also both said that the official purpose they were given for Hezbollah’s involvement in the current war was to avenge the death of Iran’s former supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a targeted strike at the outset of the war.
“Anyone who leaves their home does so against their will,” one of the Radwan terrorists said. “You can’t tell them you don’t want to come.”
No one any longer wants to fight — they are exhausted, and demoralized by being outfought in every encounter with the IDF — but if they refused to show up, they could be summarily executed, and their families denied the aid they need to survive.
Asked to expand on why people did not want to join the fight, the terrorist explained:
“If I were at home and they called me to war, I wouldn’t come. Why? First, I just got out of a war. Not even a year and a half has passed. Second, my whole body – there’s nothing healthy in it. Third, why should I prevent my children and my family from being with me?”
Another terrorist was asked about the treatment he got from his commanders, and told the IDF interrogators that “it’s like sending an animal [to war]. He doesn’t care about it. He doesn’t tell it, for example, how it will eat, how it will sleep – any kind of communication. Who am I supposed to speak to? What am I supposed to do if I am injured? It’s [like] a dog sending a dog into battle.”
“Why does he send you, then?” asked the interrogator.
“To die,” the operative responded. “And you don’t have the ability to refuse or say no…What matters to [the commander] is that I operate, and that it’s recorded so he can be promoted in rank.”…
These captured soldiers may be members of the most elite unit in Hezbollah, but they know they are being thrown into battle as mere cannon fodder. Their superior officers don’t care if they live or die, but only want more bodies to show up to fight, for those officers’ own promotions depend on those numbers.
Remember: these are the Radwan Forces. “Elite” operatives they may be, but they immediately surrendered to the IDF soldiers, without putting up a fight. They have been exhausted after 18 months of constantly fighting the IDF, and constantly losing. They do not respect their officers, who force them to show up, most unwillingly, for battle, only in order to be promoted themselves. The Radwan operatives know they are being used as cannon fodder. They have completely lost the will to fight and are being forced to do so, under threat of execution if they refuse to comply. If this is how the Radwan Forces feel — exhausted, angry at their treatment, scared to fight and scared of refusing to fight — what must those in Hezbollah’s regular ranks now feel?

Muslim men attack women and children because these groups are vulnerable, easy targets, but men of war are not so easy to abuse, despite Allah’s encouragement for war against Non-Muslims from the Qur’an. ALLAH claims MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than Allah when Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day[Non-Muslims]. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[via Islamic Law], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have given the book[Jews and Christians] until they pay the jizyah[Extortion Payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

It only takes a few days of constant bombardment and seeing your fellow Hizb’Allah soldiers turned to pink mist with a few bone shards here and there, to take the jihad out of your sails. All of a sudden, martyrdom is not the highest honor, if they themselves are the martyrs. In other words, enough return fire can defeat Islam.
These captured soldiers are a very good asset for the Israelis. Hopefully they will rat out where weapons caches are stored, especially those missiles that are proving problematic to Israel and where the higher ups are hiding out.

They sure have caused the Lebanese enough trouble over the past several decades. Lebanon used to be a thriving tourist destination of the Europeans before Hizb’allah took over. Back then, everyone was prosperous.
