Now that the Syrian civil war is over, there is no reason for the millions of Syrians who fled the war and went to Europe claiming, and receiving, “refugee status,” to remain in Europe. In particular, the German government wants the 900,000 Syrians now in the country to go back to Syria. But the Syrian government has other ideas. It sees those Syrians abroad as a kind of fifth column, promoting Syrian and Muslim interests from within the Lands of the Infidels.

A Syria’s [sic] minister has rejected calls for large-scale repatriations of Syrians living in Germany, calling the community a “strategic asset” for his country.
Yes, those 900,000 Syrians should rightly be considered as loyal not to Germany, but to their country of origin. Those who live on the benefits that the generous welfare state lavishes upon them have a standard of living far above what they would experience if they returned to Syria. Those who work have an even higher standard of living, and send money home to support relatives still in Syria. These Syrian Muslim “asylum seekers” are naturally not eager to return home, but their presence is for many Germans unsettling and unpleasant. The Syrians, like other Muslims, see no reason to integrate into the larger society, which, after all, has been created by and for Infidels, described in the Qur’an as the “most vile of created beings.” Those Syrians still living on welfare constitute a terrific expense for German taxpayers — approximately $10 billion annually. Finally, Syrians, like other Muslim migrants in Germany, and in other European countries, have rates of criminality — everything from shoplifting, robberies, and burglaries, to sexual assaults and murder — many times higher than those for the non-Muslim indigenes. In sum, the large-scale presence of Muslims in Germany has created a situation for the non-Muslims that is far more unpleasant, expensive, and physically dangerous than would be the case without that large-scale presence.
Foreign minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani said the Syrian Government prefers working to create conditions for voluntary repatriation, describing engagement with the diaspora as central to national reconstruction efforts.
He said Damascus has proven it is a reliable political partner and is building genuine strategic partnerships with other countries.
The foreign minister is trying to prevent Germany from deporting large numbers of Syrians. He piously insists that “voluntary repatriation” is better, knowing full well that there will be very little of that, but in the meantime, he has kicked the can of mass deportation down the road. He says Damascus is a reliable political partner. That’s not what the Druze, the Kurds, the Shi’a Muslims, and the Christians would say. It’s not what the Israelis believe; they are deeply worried about the jihadist sympathies of Ahmed al-Sharaa and his collaborators now ruling in Damascus.
Crucially he added: “The issue concerning our people abroad was strongly present in all our discussions. We reaffirm once again: Syrians in exile are strategic national assets, not burdens.
Syrians living in Germany are burdens to the German state and German people; they are a “strategic national asset” only to Syria. They are a source of political support for the Syrian state; they can protest on its behalf, appear on German media to sing the praises of al-Sharaa, while passing over in silence his jihadist past and his campaigns against the ethnic and religious minorities in Syria. They may also work to convince Germans to abandon the “Statsräson” (raison d’état) that has made the security of Israel a pillar of German policy.
“We categorically reject any attempts at forced deportation, and we are working diligently with our partners to prepare the infrastructure and provide a safe environment befitting those who choose a dignified and voluntary return,” he added.
The foreign minister, al-Shaibani, seems to think it is up to the Syrians to decide when and where and even if, their citizens in exile will leave Germany. He can reject “forced deportation” all he wants, but he must be firmly reminded that it is not up to him, and that the Germans can deport any non-citizens they wish, for good reasons or none. The Syrians have no right to extend their presence now that the civil war is over. Nor is it up to the Syrians to delay such deportation until “a safe environment” can be provided — presumably, this is a reference to new housing stock that must first be built to replace that which was destroyed during the war.
Al-Shaibani said the presence of Syrians in other countries “is a message to the world that Syrians are one people undivided by distances, and building the Syria of the future is a national project par excellence”…
If all these Syrians who fled to a half-dozen countries are “one people undivided” — that is, none of them have chosen to become loyal citizens of those countries — then by all means, send them all back to Syria, where it will be much easier for them to remain “one people undivided.” And the Syrians who return may have acquired skills in Europe — from manual to managerial skills — that will enable them to participate usefully in reconstruction efforts.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz wants the Syrians out quickly. He’s always been against mass migration into Germany, especially migration from Muslim lands. NGOs, that give no signs of understanding how Muslim migrants have transformed much of Europe for the worse, are trying to slow down the deportations of Muslims. So are left-wing, pro-migration Germans. Hope that they don’t succeed, and Merz sticks to his guns.
Political sociologist Professor Ruud Koopmans in Berlin said Syria sees its diaspora as a “source of remittances, a bridge for chain marriage migration across generations, and political capital gained through voter blocs”.
He called for a resolute halt to naturalisation and the possibility of family reunification.
Professor Koopmans says Syria views its migrants in Europe as a source of wealth from remittances those migrants send home. They can also use chain marriage migration, whereby an initial immigrant can then bring in a spouse, and then both the original migrant and his spouse can bring in still more relatives — grandparents, nephews and nieces, cousins — as part of what supporters describe as “family reunification.” This keeps swelling the numbers of migrants, far beyond what was originally contemplated. Professor Koopmans wants to stop naturalization — no more migrants in his view should become citizens of an already overcrowded Germany, because those who do so now are overwhelmingly Muslims. He also wants to stop the chain marriage migration, that lets one migrant bring in a spouse and then many more members of his, and her, extended families.
Syria’s President Ahmed al-Sharaa is making his royal progress through the chancelleries of the West, where he continues his charade as an unthreatening, because “moderate,” Muslim. He’s trying to convince the West to lift sanctions placed on Syria during the civil war and not yet removed, as the Western leaders have tried to figure out what attitude they should adopt to the new regime in Damascus. While the Germans and the British may have been convinced of al-Sharaa’s sincerity, both the United States and Israel are not so sure, given the ill treatment his government has meted out to Syria’s minorities, including the Druze, Kurds, Shia Muslims, and Christians.
The countries of the West should force a recalcitrant Syria to take back, without more delaying tactics, all of their citizens now living in Europe. Their deportation will be a great boon for those whose countries the Syrians settled in, and will provide millions of workers — some of whom have now had experience building at a more advanced level than was possible in Syria itself — with the opportunity to take part in Syria’s Great Reconstruction.

In the U.S., the government works to round up illegals and criminal invaders (like ilhan elmi, alias omar, the “Maryland man”, the Syrian-palesinian former student who called for Jews to be murdered) and send them back out and “judges” decide that the government has no such “rights” to do that.

Syria shouldn’t get to choose! They can work out w/ Berlin a process by which their citizens are returned, and they can require that Berlin prove that the people being returned are actually Syrian citizens or their kids (if born outside Syria), and that if people who came from Syria were actually Afghans or Pakis or Iraqis or other, then they should be repatriated directly to their original countries. That’s the most Damascus can ask of German, or other Western authorities

There are other ways of finding out: their documents aren’t exactly everything. For instance, knowing which languages they speak (outside English or German) would serve as pointers to where they were from. Like if they turned out to be speakers of Pashto or Urdu, then chances are that they were from Afghanistan or Pakistan, and then they can be handed over to the Taliban or to Paki authorities and let them figure them out. If they are Arabic speaking, try and find out after investigating which dialect – those Arab countries differ somewhat slightly in terms of dialect – and then send them there. Or for the Arab countries, maybe make a single holding station in Tripoli, Libya, send them there and let the Libyan regime sort them out
What is needed is the will, which just isn’t there w/ most German – or other European – officials

It’s not just a lack of will; some do-gooders among the citizens and officials are even helping and supporting them so that they can stay in the country. .
I am less optimistic that these ambitious goals will be achieved. Many still refer to these individuals as well-integrated. They claim that some perpetrators, previously considered well-integrated, who suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere commit attacks, suffer from a mental illness.
I’m sure taht don’t need to explain all this to you, since you have exactly the same problems with do-gooders in the USA.

Just like we extradited thousands of illegals to either their home countries or to El Salvador, similarly Germany, Britain, Sweden and others can deport their aliens back to their home countries. The main thing required is political will!
