New in PJ Media:
New York City’s Communist Twelver Shi’ite mayor, Zohran Mamdani, has begun constructing his cult of personality, and that was only to be expected. Every socialist leader has to have one.
The cult of personality is essential to leftist regimes because socialism and Communism are built upon a big lie. Leftist regimes claim to be all about equity and justice, with everyone treated fairly and given equal access to the collective wealth. In reality, however, socialist and Communism are all about confiscating wealth from the productive and giving it to the privileged. This requires authoritarian rule, for few people outside of the most besotted and blinkered ideologues are willing to see the fruits of their labor taken from them and given to those who have not worked for them.
In order to make their populations more amenable to this authoritarian rule, socialist and Communist regimes make an idol out of the ruler. Dear Comrade Lenin or Comrade Stalin or Chairman Mao or Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, they love us. They are wise, virtually all-knowing, serene, and always correct. They know what is best for us. It may be hard sometimes, but in the end, their wise guidance will lead us to the implementation of full socialism, and justice and equitable treatment for everyone. We just have to trust them. Not to do so would be bourgeois, a clear sign of lingering capitalist tendencies.
Zohran Mamdani is not a head of state. He can’t go all-in on his socialist inclinations. But he is anxious to show, during his tenure as mayor of the nation’s largest city, that socialism works, and that means he has been busy from his first moments in office implementing as much of it as he possibly can. That includes the cult of personality.
And so the New York Post reported Sunday that Mamdani is doing all he can to set himself up as a larger-than-life socialist hero. He even “threw himself a great big bash to celebrate his first 100 days in office, and even launched a website so his faithful comrades can track his ‘achievements’ across the city — despite reneging on numerous campaign promises.”
At his party, where Mamdani himself was, of course, the main speaker, he invoked one of socialism’s foremost critics, saying: “I have thought often of Margaret Thatcher’s quote: ‘The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.’ If anything, my friends, it seems that you eventually need a socialist to clean up the mess. For 102 days, we have endeavored to do exactly that, delivering both public goods and public excellence. That is the change that government can deliver, and it is the change that democratic socialism can deliver.”

Like his god, Allah, another Muslim is a master deceiver against all Non-Muslims using deceit, discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism as taught in Islamic Law and in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 3:54; 7:99; 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15; 98:6-7, etc.). Next, Mamdani will fund and promote Muslim Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Organizations to Islamize the territory under Islamic Law and to gain more taxpayer money, more political power, and more government control. After all, Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”
Allah rewards Muslims with Paradise when they kill and are killed in Jihad, war against Non-Muslims with MUSLIM MONEY and with MUSLIM LIVES to make Islam supreme. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

Why not just say that Mamdani is an islamic mayor? He doesn’t discriminate against sunnis on the basis of shi’a orthodoxy: he’s happy to embrace all of the ummah
Ilhan & Rashida are sunnis afaik, but they are every bit as toxic as Mamdani is
Winston 101 says
The more a government can do for you, the more a government can do to you.
Nature is hierarchical and so are humans. All humans have different talents and those talents to different degrees.
Any government system that tries to change these facts has to beat it out to the humans involved and so you get the Party, the KGB and the Gulag – run by Big Brother and his Cult of Personality
When your governmental goal is “equality”,where every one’s outcome is the same, and since government can’t raise the average to brilliant, the only thing the government can work toward is cutting down the talented and productive.
Harvard’s admission schemes, where they burden certain students with having to have extra high scores, while accepting lower scores for other groups is a good example.
Socialist’s “leveling the playing field” doesn’t mean everyone has an equal opportunity to compete,
it means rigging the game so even the lesser talented can “win”. Just what you want in a surgeon or Air Traffic Controller.
Sometimes the “equality” worshiping government goes so far as to tell you how they’ve rigged the game beforehand, as was the case with Justice KB-J.
Biden violated the Constitution by proudly, publicly, announcing that “only black females need apply.”
The goal of the American revolution was not “equality” – that was the French Revolution, with its God of Envy/Reason and the attendant Terror.
The goal of the American Revolution, with its Judeo-Christian God, was “freedom”. With the source of their rights being “our Creator”, not the government. The Founding Fathers wanted only as much government as was needed to create a society where Americans were free to do for themselves.
Mamdani’s grocery stores are an example of the government trying to do something, by its nature,
it cannot do i.e. run a profit/loss business.
All the while that same government is not doing what it should be doing, i.e.,providing public safety to the privately owned stores, so their owners, staff and customers can be safe from shoplifters, muggers, carjackers and murderers.

Great summation of socialism/communism, Winston. I definitely don’t want a DEI heart surgeon or a doctor that should have received a “D” in kidney structure and function.

I think most of the new doctors just paid to get a doctors license and just had fun at school and learned nothing.. When I go to a doctor now they do not know anything. Years ago most were very smart.

Being the personality of a socialism movement is a privileged, exalted position until the victims of that socialism learn methods to appear below the theft threshold or leave. This will lead to ever higher citizen and political corruption as history has recorded for past socialist regimes.
New York, along with many “blue” states is considering a Exit Tax, knowing full well that their expanding socialist tax grabs will drive productive individuals and businesses out of the state. This should eventually force Supreme Court rulingings on scalping and ex-state extended taxation.
In short, the hedonistic NYC party will revel and feast until the liquor runs out and then the hangover never ends. Perhaps Mamdani thinks that Islam will be the cure for that hangover?

The last four words of the of this article regarding Zohran Mamdani is very fitting those words are “His Cult of Personality .”
For Mamdani sure is a truly gifted speaker, the problem is that he uses his oratory skills for beguilement, and deception it’s very understandable that his spoken balderdash can fool the shallow and simple- minded politically correct people of the left, but that the very intelligent.
For example, President Trump should have seen through Mamdani lying words, let’s hope really, he did when Mamdani said “I care very deeply about Jewish safety and I look very forward to rooting out antisemitism across the five boroughs and every New Yorker who calls the city home,”
Mamdani is an outright liar, For earlier that future New York City mayor had said that “Israel should not exist.” Likewise, he that wanted to “Globalize the Intifada “To this very day he has not denounced or retracted that statement.
There’s a saying which is “Give the Devil his due.” Therefore, is one thing may, truly, be said about Zohran Mamdani, which is that he is very good with words when he engages in Islamic deception and lies to non—Muslims , Which Taqiyya. a tactic of lying deceit , a doctrine of Islam.
Rufolino says
Of course Mamdani is a liar. He is a committed Moslem.

And it is definitely a “cult” One human….usually male….makes a large pretense of being *perfect*….all-wise, all-knowing, all-loving and deserving of worship.
Jim Jones, David Koresh, and others did that…..treating their ‘subjects to their wonderfulness, while stabbing them all in the back by raping the children, taking all the women as ‘wives’ for themselves and making the males feel powerless, but adoring the treatment they received.
The cult leader is far from perfect; far from being all-wise, all-knowing and worthy of worship and devotion, but he’s so ruthless, his groupies are afraid to say what they may know deep down for fear that the other cult members will squeal on them. and the leader will make further demands upon them.
The cult leader takes all of the member’s money and valuables, pretending it’s for the “good of all.” At the same time, his food, clothing, housing, etc. is high on the hog, while the members have only the bare necessities.
A lavish party for himself, while raising taxes to cover the many *promises* he made in order to get elected. According to recent news reports, many of his “subjects” are beginning to see what a lying scum he truly is.

One can find a cult of personality in the free world, and this should indeed be looked upon with skepticism, but where the totalitarian world is concerned, whether Marxist, Nazi-like, Western Leftist (and yeah, a spillover here with Marxism), traditionally secular authoritarian garbage, Islamic, etc., one will ALWAYS find a cult of personality. And which is so ironic from a Marxist perspective (a la Mamdani) because Marxism denigrates the individual and exalts the “inexorable social and economic forces, blah, blah, blah….”
But time and time again the historical record reveals that the individual really does make the difference above all. As examples, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Lenin, Hitler and Mao—the first three a force for good and the latter three a force for evil. Yes, I concede that impersonal forces move history to a fair extent but I have long vigorously argued that the individual is even more important. As examples, minus George Washington the Americans would have lost that war and no one in Nazi Germany was capable of managing such enormous destruction except for Hitler himself. So, put me down for one more reason (there are so many) why I am an anti-Marxist.
Yes, the single person above all—nothing matters more. As two other examples, I would proffer Alexander the Great and Napoleon. Here I rest.
Winston 101 says
Wellington,
I would agree that the individual matters the most.
I used to hear it debated “The Greats of History” Vs. “The Masses”. This seems like a false dichotomy to me.
All the “Greats of History” and “The Masses of History” are all made up of individuals.
Those individuals clearly have differing degrees of impact on History but each has its own impact.
No matter how great or small the impact, we are each responsible for our own proportional impact.
I believe that is what Lord Nelson meant, when he spoke while dying, during the
Battle of Trafalgar. He had successfully lead the defense of England against the combined French and Spanish forces and prevented the invasion of England by Napoleon.
His doctor reported Nelson to have said “Thank God I have done my duty.”
I think Nelson’s mantle has been picked up by Tommy Robinson. Now if eachindividual will do their part, no matter how long it takes, Great Britain could be returned to itself and the West.

Democrats are again trying to pry some of the religious vote from Republicans, but their actions expose the insincerity of their approach.
The latest example involves an order of Catholic nuns in Hawthorne, New York, who care for the terminally ill. The Washington Times reports the nuns are suing New York State over a transgender rights law that requires nursing homes “to use pronouns, assign rooms and allow restrooms access based on a patient’s gender identity, or risk jail time.” The New York Department of Health also requires facilities to “create communities” that affirm patients’ sexual preferences and “accommodate patients’ desire for extramarital relations.” Fines of up to $2,000 would be assessed for the first violation and up to $5,000 for repeat violations. “Willful violations” can result in fines up to $10,000, or one year in prison.
Apparently not having complaints is of no concern to secular and liberal Democrats who seem to be doing all they can to undermine what has been considered normative behavior for millennia.
Have Democrats forgotten the Little Sisters of the Poor? In 2011, the Obama administration’s Department of Health and Human Services issued a federal mandate as part of the Affordable Care Act. It required employers to provide contraceptives in their health insurance plans. Certain secular companies were exempted, including Exxon, Pepsi Bottling and Visa. HHS included a narrow religious exemption, but not for nonprofits like the Little Sisters. The order was threatened with fines of tens of millions of dollars if they failed to comply.
The Little Sisters sued and lost in one court after another. Eventually they won at the Supreme Court. In 2017, President Trump issued an executive order directing HHS and other federal agencies to protect the Little Sisters and other religious nonprofits from the mandate, demonstrating how important it is to have a president who protects religious freedom.
Those who believe God made us “male and female” know where biblical standards come from, but what about other standards, or are there any standards when it comes to behavior? Are we supposed to believe that government is God and all are required to worship at the government “altar,” whether in Albany or Washington? If standards are constantly shifting, they cannot be standards.
The late Catholic theologian Bishop Fulton J. Sheen believed that moral standards are absolute and rooted in divine law rather than subjective social trends. Sheen warned against a “false compassion” that erodes such standards when we sympathize with wrongdoing. “If you don’t behave as you believe, you will end by believing as you behave,” he said. Sheen believed that without objective, external standards of right and wrong, society collapses into moral confusion. This is the condition of modern America.
If there remains no standard for distinguishing right from wrong – other than opinion polls and legal jujitsu – what can be considered as always right and always wrong?
Based on the outcome of the Little Sisters case, the New York nuns should have no problem winning their lawsuit. Be warned, though, because secular Democrats never give up.
