AOC Apparently Thinks the IDF ‘Violates Human Rights.’ Would She Care to Adduce Her Evidence?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has demonstrated a deep anti-Israel animus: “Ocasio-Cortez takes hard-line stance against all military aid to Israel,” by Max Rego, The Hill, April 2, 2026:

Ocasio-Cortez also noted that the Israeli Knesset approved a record $45.8 billion for the country’s Defense Ministry this week and referenced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu telling The Economist in January that he wanted to eliminate Israel’s reliance on U.S. military aid over the next decade.

Yes, Prime Minister Netanyahu wants to steadily reduce Israel’s reliance on American military aid in the future. But not suddenly, nor all at once, while Israel is still fighting a multi-front war against fanatical enemies. He would like to gradually wean Israel over a decade from its reliance on American aid, but that can only start after the current wars end. AOC wants to cut Israel off from American military aid right away, smack in the middle of its many wars.

“It is fully within their ability to fund Iron Dome and other defensive systems. Our allies who need our military aid must understand that we will provide it consistent with the Leahy amendment and the foreign assistance act,” the New York Democrat added, referring to a federal statute that bars the federal government from funding a foreign military that violates human rights….

AOC apparently believes that the IDF “violates human rights.” Would she care to adduce her evidence? She can repeat that charge of “genocide” till the cows come home, but there is no proof of any intent on Israel’s part to commit genocide. The IDF tries always and everywhere to minimize civilian casualties. That is why, in just the first year of the Gaza war, it dropped millions of leaflets, sent millions of text messages, and made millions of robocalls, all in order to warn civilians away from areas or buildings about to be targeted. No other country in the history of warfare has carried on such a massive effort to warn civilians. West Point Professor John Spencer, an expert in urban warfare, has noted that “Israel has done more and implemented more measures to prevent civilian harm than any military in the history of urban warfare.” I doubt that AOC has heard of Professor Spencer’s study.

Last year, in voting against a defense amendment sponsored by former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) that proposed cutting off support for the Iron Dome, Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X that the measure did “nothing to cut off offensive aid to Israel nor end the flow of US munitions” the Israeli military has used in Gaza.

“What it does do is cut off defensive Iron Dome capacities while allowing the actual bombs killing Palestinians to continue,” she continued. “I have long stated that I do not believe that adding to the death count of innocent victims to this war is constructive to its end.”

So a year ago, AOC was willing to keep funding Iron Dome because it was “defensive” and thus protecting “innocent victims,” by which she meant the Israeli civilians whom Iron Dome protected.

But now she has decided that America should no longer be funding any defensive weapons for Israel. If the Jewish state wants to intercept missiles and drones aimed at its civilians, it will have to come up with the money by itself. She ignores the huge sums Israel has already committed to defensive weapons needed in its multi-front war, with bombardments from Iran, from Hezbollah in Lebanon, from Hamas in Gaza, from the Houthis in Yemen. Behind her words is a suggestion that those “rich Israelis” (a.k.a. “rich Jews”?) ought to be able to pay for everything themselves. She has not the slightest sympathy for the Israelis as they confront so many foes dead-set on destroying the Jewish state.

AOC doesn’t care. She wants to hold on to support from the “progressives” who, she thinks, will soon inherit the Democratic Party, and what better way to do that than to noisily abandon Israel? She has more important things to think about than the safety of that pesky little Jewish state. How long, she has begun to wonder, will I have to wait, before I can begin campaigning with the White House in view?

The ones who should really violate human rights and should have crime of genocide warrants out against them, for the genocide are the jihadist chiefs of Hamas and their Muslim terrorists murderous stooges For Hamas started this war in October 7th 2023 and then had its Muslim terrorists hide behind children using them as human shield.

    First, this is because they are top dogs of a violent and deadly jihad organization, that reveals in its charter that its intention to the commit worldwide genocide against the Jewish race.

    Second, the heads of Hamas used its jihadist stooges invade Israel on October 7, 2023 to commit mass murder as well as other vile and heinous atrocities against the Jewish people.

    Furthermore, the Muslim despots of that hostile Islamic regime of Iran should also have arrest warrant sent out for them. This is because they had sent many deadly weapons to Hamas and encourages those Hamas top dogs to launch a jihadist invasion of Israel murdering her people.

Totalitarian Ocasio-Cortez partners with Islam’s Muslims against Non-Muslims to expand the Islamization of America with Islamic Law. Allah expects all Muslim believers to war against all non-Muslims until the Unbelievers convert to Islam or face Muslim violence. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

    They immediately started massacring many unarmed and helpless young people. .Then they created a terrible slaughter of unarmed people of all ages. They further took live healthy infants and literally set them on fire ,burring them to death .

    Those Muslim terrorists went further which their honorific atrocities by kidnapping many of the Jewish citizens of Israel ,and then kept in isolate small dark filthy rooms and starved them . Those Hamas terrorist tortured and sexually molested and even raped many of them.

    So then Alexandria Cortez speaks about human rights which accuses the Israel Defense Force ,she is exposing her own ignorance and willful blinding about who the real human rights violators actually. . which are those brutal cruel vicious malicious Muslim terrorists of Hamas.
