Round and round Tucker Carlson goes, swirling down the drain, ever crazier in his hatred of Israel and his newfound deep affection for Iran. More on his latest outburst can be found here: “Tucker Carlson is now shilling for jihadis,” by David Harsanyi, Washington Examiner, April 15, 2026:
Perhaps the only thing worse than Tucker Carlson’s deranged understanding of history is his deranged understanding of theology.
“The people in charge don’t want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus,” the Iranian regime’s top fanboy recently tweeted, later noting that this was why President Donald Trump’s meme “depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran.”
Indeed, Jesus is a prophet in Islam. In the Hadith, Muhammad promises that when Jesus returns, He will “break the cross” and establish Islam as the sole faith of the world. The Iranian “president” loves a Jesus that not only doesn’t exist in Christianity but promises to destroy it. This seems like useful context.
Jesus is not particularly “loved” in Islam, as Carlson claims. He is but one of 25 prophets named in the Qur’an. Some Muslim authorities claim there as many as 124,000 prophets. And when he returns, he will do so not to spread Christianity, but quite the opposite, to destroy it. He will arrive in order to “break the cross,” signifying an end to Christianity.
That’s a theological position. Shia extremists in Iran aren’t the only people who reject a messianic Jesus, after all. But if the Iranian rulers have such high esteem for Jesus, why is conversion or proselytization of Christianity an apostasy punishable by death? Numerous fatwas issued by Iranian clerics, including one from the recently retired “supreme leader” Ali Khamenei, impose the death penalty on any males and life imprisonment on women who reject Islam. t Islam.
Does that sound as if Iranian clerics revere Christianity? In their view, any Muslim who apostatizes — that is, “rejects Islam” and becomes a Christian — deserves death.
Preaching the Gospels is considered a “deviant educational” activity in Carlson’s beloved Iran. And because Christianity is gaining popularity underground, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard regularly raids the homes and churches, often arbitrarily arresting and sometimes torturing their prey. In 2023, the regime imprisoned 96 Christians, 22 of them getting 43-year sentences apiece. All of them were convicted of theological crimes. crimes.
Does Carlson know about the Islamic Republic’s ferocious attempt to suppress any practice of Christianity in Iran? Does he know about the raids on homes and churches where the Gospel is preached? Does he know that Christians caught practicing their faith are condemned to long prison terms, some as long as 43 years? Has he spoken to a single Iranian Christian who has managed to flee the country, to find out just how Christians are treated in the Islamic Republic?
According to Carlson, it’s the Israelis, it’s the Jews, who have manipulated Trump into making war on a peace-loving Iran that posed no threat to America. In order to arrive at that bizarre conclusion, Carlson must ignore the fact that for 47 years, the Islamic Republic has declared America, the Great Satan, to be its greatest enemy. Less than a year into Khomeini’s regime, on November 4, 1979, Iranian students — with the blessing of the Iranian government — seized the American Embassy and held its personnel hostage for 444 days. The favorite activity of Iranian crowds is to gather, with the government’s blessing, to set fire to the American and Israeli flags, to denounce both the “Great” and the “Little” Satan, and with special virulence, to shout “Marg bar Amrika” — “Death to America.” What does Tucker Carlson make of all that? Does that sound as if the Islamic Republic of Iran is “peace-loving” and has no quarrel with America, but those diabolical Israelis have convinced our leaders that Iran is our enemy and must be attacked?

He’s totally lost it. Back at FNC, he used to rant about the Saudis, to which I gave a qualified agreement (even though this happened after MbS came to power). But praising Pakistanis – the people who actively support to this day al Qaeda and other jihadist groups – and where all of the 9/11 plotters were sheltered before being captured or killed – shows that his advocacy for 9/11 victims was something that he could be bribed out of
I’ve totally lost any respect I ever had for him – forget trusting him!

“Super nice”? How much was in that envelope?

Well, I had not completely realized until this article about Tucker Carlson by Hugh Fitzgerald that Carlson’s “main problem” may be simply due to massive ignorance—Occam’s razor approach and all that. The man is woeful, utterly woeful, in his understanding of what Islam has to say about Christianity, Christians in general, and Jesus too.
So yes, if one were as ignorant about Islam as Carlson seems to be (and I would entertain nefarious designs to the contrary by Carlson based on more knowledge about what Islam intends for all of humanity than he lets on, but I don’t think this the case—I’m stickin’ for the time being with the “pure ignorance” explanation), then I can understand why he comes to the conclusions he has about Mo’s warped creed. Rather like many willfully uninformed Christians in our time, two coming to mind are Bush 43 and Pope Leo XIV. Time for a beer.

Yep. It appears that the iranian mullahs have joined the qataris in paying Qatarlson to shill for them.

Put him on a plane, take away passport and leave him in Iran. He praises it then he should live there.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Iranians completely hate him, and once that regime is gone, he’d be in danger there for collaborating w/ the regime. Qatar maybe, although I wonder whether they are still enamored of him shilling for the islamic regime, which is now their enemy! Maybe Pakistan – the country he’s newly fallen in love w/?

Four prominent conservatives have become anti-israel. Tucker Carlsen, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly and JP. There is something wierd going on.

Jordan Peterson? That’s shocking: I always thought him far more respectable
Looks like Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles are there as well: in fact all of Daily Wire, except Ben, who however is still a Neocon. So if one wants to be both pro-Israel as well as anti-Globalist (American being run from Davos, being pro-EU & UN, pro-China….), then one is SOL as far as political choices go

Just appalling. And the main role of the Muslim “Jesus”–“prophet Isa”–is to kill Christians in the last days.
