The Republic Somaliland says her father committed war crimes:

Omar is trying to portray inquiries into her alleged immigration fraud as a racist, white supremacist, right-wing MAGA attempt to discredit her. The Republic of Somaliland, however, is making that claim more difficult for Omar to sustain.

  1. I read this earlier and thought, alright….another voice who can’t be “racist” or “right-wing” and biased against her due to her color….and perhaps even her muzziness.

    Extradite her and let the government sort it out. It would certainly chap her hide since her government in somalia doesn’t recognize Somaliland..

  2. Some History, sir I eant her deported to her homeland for a number of reasons. The main one being that she seems to have enriched her and her husband by participating in the massive welfare fraud that is now hand in hand with Tim Walz’s Minnesota. You and I would be punished swiftly and harshly for having done similar things. We are only asking that she leave and never return. Perhaps that is racist and unjust. I see it as fair. If they can find a way to drop Talib off on the way, I am fine with that too.

        • John and all on this forum. Thank you for the very kind words. Some History from me. I served as an Army Ranger for eight years and as a member of an air attack team with the 82nd for fourteen.
          When we had to call in kinetic strikes from a far the call sign for heavy drops was Ugly 32, ugly 32, ugly 32 we need some landscaping on or at map coordinates mmm x yyy. I lived with my wife of 25 years in chicago and the area code was 312. I do write from my heart and experience so thank you for noticing. True story, a bit personal, but I bare it all if I am going to show any.
          I know this is the right place for me. The change in my ability to think and write has been a product of being around such smart and diverse perspectives. I feel fortunate and am grateful for being able to participate. Again, thank all of you for making me a better me.

        • John Smith, I hope it was easy to understand and made some sense. I am not well versed in things political, but I do know how i feel and what I have seen. So really, thank you sir !
          Hopefully my kids will not have to deal with Sharia or jew hatred, but who knows what will happen when the pendulum swings the other way in 2028 if we don’t get a conservative candidate in the white house.

        • I personally think that all the deportees that committed crimes here should be tried, convicted, and serve out their prison sentences here before deportation. And that applies to Omar as well as to the MS-13 gangbanger.

  4. I’d love to see her being deported but I can’t see it happening. They’ve known for years that she married her own brother and they did nothing.
    The Republicans also made a lot of noise about the numerous fraudulent shell companies Joe Biden and his son Hunter set up, yet they got away with it. I believe the same will happen with Ilhan Omar.

    • Of course it will happen with Omar. Nobody has the balls to hold the democrats accountable and responsible for their illegal acts and actions. Biden? Nope. Clinton? Nope. Obama? Nope. Has Walz been held responsible for the welfare fraud in Minnesota? Nope. Will _anyone_ be held accountable? Nope. So you can add Omar’s name to the end of the long list of democrats that got away with their illegal acts and actions and that will be all that happens to her.

    Everything she, her father and brother have done is fraud, If Obama let it slide then he should be nailed as well.

    Everyone who let this crap slide needs to be tried for treason, it is still an offense. Husband, children all must be kept together and sent back to Somalia. Children are not citizens mother committed fraud therefore they must be returned with her.

  8. Omar is “red meat” to me. I can’t wait until Justice is served. “Red meat” issues are when I try to be very careful, it’s so easy to fall for a line when I ardent’y desire something.

    Of course the Federal government could act.

    Now we have receipts to add to the documented evidence and welcome soothing strong words – very nice – but still no action.

    Still hoping and waiting.

    Take your time – if it means you’re building an iron clad case. You’ve carefully looked at any defense she could possibly raise – that you are getting your ducks in an impenetrable row.

    • Winston 101, we all should just wait. We dont want to ruin this. An example should be made of her that is so strong it will make Timmy need adult diapers. He has to know this was going on. All of those criminals in government should see that they are in the crosshairs of justice. I really hope she serves time here and then goes back to wherever she came from to serve some time there as well.

      Perhaps since the fraud she committed makes her eligible for deportation, she could be sent to El Salvadore like some of the other illegals have been.

          Unfortunately, tlaib was supposedly born in the U.S. so the Congress would have to make some new laws to get rid of her ugliness. However, she could be kicked out of the office she holds and tried for the crimes she has committed….like fraud to get elected and hob-knobbing with terror orgs. And fine her to the tune of how much taxpayer money she has been paid since getting into Congress.

          How we let these people remain is beyond my ability to comprehend. It scares me for my kids and others what we will allow. We have a good guy in tje Whitehouse right now with the guts to get things done.

    • It isn’t somalia calling for her to be extradited. They probably want her to stay in Congress. It’s a different country, Somaliland, which says they will take her. Perhaps to prosecute her for what her father did, or because she has said they don’t have the right to have a separate nation.

      • somehistory, I believe you are right regarding the father of Omar. He was accused or thought to be involved with some type of genocidal machinations against another group of Africans. These things could not be proved, but he had fled in the late 80s early 90s. The African continent is like the ME, a whole different mindset where bad feelings are never laid to rest. You can run, but, you better not have a daughter you can make pay for your misdeeds. She is a high profile, vile thing and any chance to strike back at the family will not be forgotten. Too bad for her, but not really. That is why I always try to take the high road. I dont want anything I’ve ever done come back on my wife or my kids. Ilan left Kansas long ago. They will welcome her with open arms. Thanks for jogging my brain. 61 today, but not feeling a day over 80. Lol.

    House Republicans are opening a new front in Washington’s favorite sport: following the money. This time, their sights are trained on Rep. Ilhan Omar.

    According to an exclusive report from the New York Post, attorneys for the House Oversight Committee are investigating how Omar’s household finances reportedly ballooned in recent years (1). Financial disclosure forms suggest her family’s net worth may have climbed as high as $30 million.
    At the center of the inquiry is Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, whose political consulting firm has done business with Democratic-aligned organizations. Oversight Chair James Comer has publicly questioned whether that income and the speed at which it was accumulated align with federal ethics and disclosure rules.

    Comer told The Post that committee attorneys are even weighing the unusual step of subpoenaing Mynett.

    “There are a lot of questions as to how her husband accumulated so much wealth over the past two years,” Comer said. “It’s not possible. It’s not. I’m a money guy. It’s not possible.”
    he investigation into Omar is unfolding amid heightened scrutiny in Minnesota, where federal authorities have spent years unraveling some of the largest alleged public funds fraud schemes in the United States.

    Since 2021, prosecutors have charged more than 90 people in cases tied to the misuse of government aid, with total estimated losses reaching as high as $9 billion.

    Much of that stems from a COVID-era scheme involving Feeding Our Future, a nonprofit accused of submitting fraudulent meal reimbursement claims backed by fake invoices and attendance records. Prosecutors estimate the losses at nearly $250 million.

    Omar has not been accused of wrongdoing in those cases. Still, the scale of fraud uncovered in her district has intensified Republican scrutiny of financial activity connected to her household.”

      Omar has pushed back against the coverage, addressing the reports in a TikTok video and criticizing what she described as misleading interpretations of her financial disclosures.”
