“My family knows nothing about my faith, otherwise they would kill me.”
The recent Ramadan, an Islamic commemoration with no roots in Western countries, provided a warning about growing Islamization as schools and workplaces in America and Europe banned public eating out of ‘respect’ for the period. This effectively forced non-Muslims to observe an Islamic commemoration putting them in the familiar position of Dhimmis that Christians are forced to occupy in the Muslim world.
This article in Germany’s Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung describes the plight of Christians in the Muslim world during Ramadan. Even if you don’t speak German, I think you can make out the headline, “Christen Im Ramadan: Du Musst Auch Fasten!”
Or “You Must Fast!”
Nada is a Christian. In the society she lives in, this is not the norm. As a convert, she is particularly vulnerable – a circumstance that, for many, amounts to a death sentence. “My family knows nothing about my faith, otherwise they would kill me.”
She speaks of fear of arrest, of threats and violence that could also affect her daughters if she defies the strict fasting rules. Ramadan, a time of reflection for many in Yemen, is for her a daily struggle to adapt, a time when she has to conceal her own faith and feels like she is denying herself. “We don’t like to lie, but we are forced to,” she says. To avoid arousing suspicion, she even participates in Muslim prayers: “We don’t want to do this, but we are afraid.”
This is what Muslims do to Christians when they’re the majority. And we can already see what they’re doing as a minority.
Ahmed, a Christian convert in Egypt says,
“Not fasting in public is hardly possible here either.” Anyone who doesn’t fast during the day attracts attention – and anyone who attracts attention has to explain themselves.
And there’s Ramadan Apartheid.
The Islamic scholar and journalist Kacem El Ghazzali describes Ramadan as a time when social inequalities become particularly evident: “No other month illustrates the position of religious minorities within Islamic societies as clearly as Ramadan.”
In many predominantly Muslim countries, El Ghazzali says, there are “laws that criminalize eating in public.” Arrests are common “if someone is caught smoking, eating, or drinking.” This segregation is also evident in everyday life: some restaurants serve “only Muslims,” with corresponding signs on doors or at the cash register.
Videos repeatedly circulate showing people seemingly eating or drinking in public – and then being physically attacked by passersby. The social pressure goes far beyond government regulations. Political voices also reflect this attitude. For example, former Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane essentially stated that he had “a problem with those who don’t fast” – even when society otherwise leaves them alone.
Open Doors describes the persecution of Christians for Ramadan.
In Zanzibar, Christians were flogged and taken to the police for eating during Ramadan. In other cases, Christians were attacked in their own homes.
Ramadan also has economic consequences: “Christians who run restaurants often can’t open them.” In Bangladesh, Christian merchants have been forced by extremists to close their businesses during the fasting period. Added to this are government regulations. In Brunei, it’s a crime to eat in public during Ramadan; similar laws have been enacted in Iraq
That’s why ‘accommodating’ Ramadan is not harmless and it’s not tolerance. It’s giving in to a militant bigoted medieval theocratic ideology bent on forcing everyone to bow to it. For Christians in the Muslim world, eating on Ramadan is an act of heroic faith. And at the rate our governments are surrendering to Islam, it soon will be for us too.

I agree w/ the description of the Ramadan persecution, but if only this was Apartheid! In that case, muslims would be forcibly segregated from non-muslims, and the latter would have still been free to eat at normal times. What we have instead is a forced integration, and then having to live by Mohammedan rules
Just make it a point to ignore Ramadan altogether if possible, or ban it if necessary. And for allah’s sake, just don’t hire any mohammedans!!!

Apart from the blatant hypocrisy of nonstop nocturnal gluttony there is also the spectacle of government officials sleeping away their supposed work hours with their phones muted.

I feel really bad for those who are Christian and are being forced to live according to the demonic instruction.
The young woman doesn’t want to lie And as Christians, are taught not to lie as the lie is from satan the devil.
. However, she may have some solace if she is familiar with the accounts in Genesis of Abraham and Sarah, and Isaac and Rebecca when they lived in an area where they might be killed at the whim of a king, both men said their wives were their sisters for protection from the authorities and others. (Gen. chapters 20 and 26)
As for ‘praying’ along with the muzzies….what is in the heart is what counts. They should remember that Naaman, after being healed by the Prophet Elisha, was worried about supporting the king of Syria when the king prayed to his false god. Elisha assured Naaman that God would not hold it against him. (2 Kings 5)
All Christians everywhere should pray for endurance and for “God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth.” That is the only solution.

God’s will being done on earth includes lots of Muslims coming to know Him, so we can pray specifically for this to happen. In the Divine economy, the internet is being used to seed doubts about Islam in people’s minds (which is one reason why I am against internet bans for under sixteens, because the girls will be in arranged marriages as soon as they are sixteen, and then will be unable to leave once they have children). See Dr. David Wood’s video https://stream.org/you-have-no-clue-how-many-muslims-are-leaving-islam/
Alkflaeda says
God’s will is likely to include the conversions of many Muslims, who, according to Dr David Woods, are finding that the anomalies present in the beliefs are exposed as never before by the internet. See Woods’ video “You Have No Clue How Many Muslims Are Leaving Islam!” published by The Stream.

A Fast is when a person refrains from eating food though can drink only water for the set of days the person has set out to do an actual Fast.
muslimes are NOT Fasting as they eat a huge meal before the Sunrise and another huge meal after Sunset and so this is merely skipping Lunch as I and many others may do throughout the year for various reasons, lose a wee bit of weight for instance.
The fact that muslimes demand we skip Lunch because they skip Lunch would be me asking them if they would like a wee bite of my Bacon Cheese Sandwich.
They can sniff my arse.
John Pepple says
I have yet to hear of any skeptics here in the West saying something like, “It isn’t Allah asking you to fast. It is only other people, and you should ignore them.” I suspect this is because a lot of skeptics still don’t take Islamification seriously as a threat to their way of life. Based on Youtube videos I have seen, they all think that skepticism is overtaking the world.
Soon enough, it will be dangerous to voice any sort of skepticism toward anything Islamic. Maybe we are already at that point.

What is truly impressive is this: that in *Yemen*, of all places, there are people who have left Islam to become a Christian. That in *Egypt* there are those who have left Islam to become Christians. And they may be found in Turkey, in Kuwait, in Somalia.. in all manner of Islamic hell-holes. There is a widespread ‘underground church’ in Persia, composed entirely of adult converts, faithful and persevering.
Those who leave Islam… no matter whether afterward they identify as atheists, or as Christians, or Jews (yes, there are those who have left Islam and embraced the very people, and faith, that Islam has continually told them is eeeevil) or choose, say, Buddhism (if they are in, say, Indonesia) or decide (if in India, or Bangladesh, or Pakistan) to explore the Hindu faith of their long-ago force-converted forebears… they are all of them the bravest of the brave. They risk their lives – even when living in still-majority-non-Islamic countries – as soon as their change of allegiance is detected. (See ‘The Imam’s Daughter’, by Hannah Shah; born to Pakistani Muslim parents in the UK, she converted to Christianity in her late teens/ young adulthood, after fleeing from her severely-abusive family of origin; upon learning of her conversion, her imam father sent a mob of men with axes to attack the house where she was then living; fortunately they were not able to break in, or they would most likely have hacked her to pieces.. in Britain..).

This is imposing Shari’ah law on Infidels. Jews and Christians and others who fast do not demand that everyone else fast–only Muslims. Lots of Christians fast during Lent.
