The things that never happen keep happening.
The things that never happens and which must not be remedied by having Voter ID (a policy the vast majority of the country outside of Northern Virginia supports) keep happening. Again and again… and yet again.
Today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), arrested Mahady Sacko, a criminal illegal alien from Mauritania, charged for voter fraud in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Sacko has been illegally voting in this country since 2008. He entered the U.S. near Miami, Florida and an Immigration Judge ordered him removed. Sacko exhausted all appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals upheld his removal on November 14, 2002—over two decades ago.
Mauritania is a majority Muslim country.
How was Sacko able to vote in not just one, but seven federal elections (and who knows how many local ones?) The good news is since he was doing it in Philly, he can probably successfully argue that the notorious voter fraud machine in that city was doing it for him, having stolen his name, registered him to vote and then voted in his name.
And, frankly, it’s as good of an explanation as any. Because that is what our elections look like without Voter ID.

State agencies push voter registration and don’t even ask people if they’re citizens. True, he shouldn’t have voted but the government agencies and ngo’s that push voter registration on everyone set people up for potential criminality.

Even while Dems nationwide are resisting voter ID, certain Dem run states like California and Colorado have passed laws requiring all computer operating systems to embed age verification in the OS and have ways of communicating that to online services. Other states like New York and Illinois are considering it as well. Once passed, any OS creator who doesn’t have that will be fined $1,000,000 for every infraction from every user in those states. Note that this is different from parental controls on OSs, which most mainstream OSs have: any parent/guardian can create accounts for their kids, and limit what they can access, download and so on on the computers. This law seeks to force everyone to verify their age
Already, a lot of computer usage has become “enshittified” – a word coined by Cory Doctorow which has quickly become the word of last year, and these laws will only make it worse. One suspicion is that this seeks to eliminate online anonymity. Which might have been fine, except that we have seen the worst of doxxing and cancel culture in 2020-2023. That’s not even factoring in Leftists and muslims who issue (and act on) death threats
As one of the criticisms of this proposal goes, Dems don’t want you to require an ID to vote, but they do want you to require an ID to have and use a computer. To be fair, there are too many stupid Republicans who don’t grasp the dangers of such a law, and in California and Colorado, these bills were almost bipartisan

The small hurdle occurs the first time one seeks to get on the voter roles. But it is really no hurdle at all. NY (and probably many other states) encourages people to register to vote with every communication from DMV (license renewal, registration renewal, etc.). After that, one just goes back to his polling place and is automatically handed a ballot.

Fitting this happened in Philly, one of the most corrupt places in America and where the Democratic Party has a lock on virtually everything. We’ve come a long way from what Philadelphia’s founder, William Penn, envisioned for this city. I was born in Philly and now I avoid it whenever I can.

This is just a tip of an iceberg of a corruption cobweb which is linked to other leftist parties internationally, as the one oppressing us here in Brazil now, which has many connections to spurious entities as well as tyrannical regimes.

Perhaps I am naïve, but I cannot understand how this could happen.
An illegal migrant who is ordered removed should be jailed until the removal can be accomplished.
Shouldn’t take more than a week.
