While the people of Iran, or a great many of them, are overjoyed to see the Islamic Republic on its uppers, and wait expectantly for still more attacks by the Americans and Israelis in the next few weeks, sufficient to bring about the collapse of the regime, there are those outside Iran who are hysterically opposed to Operation Epic Fury (and Israel’s Operation Roaring Lion).
Here are three of them:
#1. Dmitry Medvedev: American Attack On Iran Will Cause World War III
Putin’s lapdog, Dmitri Medvedev, has denounced the Americans for making war on Iran. His full remarks can be found here: “World War III will begin if US continues to pursue ‘insane’ regime change: Russia’s Medvedev,” TRT World, March 3, 2026:
World War III will break out if US President Donald Trump “continues his insane course of criminally changing political regimes,” the deputy chairman of Russia’s powerful Security Council said on Monday.
Speaking in an interview with the Russian state news agency Tass, Dmitry Medvedev described Washington’s actions as “a war by the US and its allies to preserve global dominance.”
“If Trump continues his insane course of criminally changing political regimes, it will undoubtedly begin. And any event could be the trigger. Any event,” he warned.
My goodness. Medvedev hysterically denounces Trump’s “insane course of criminally changing political regimes” that, he claims, will cause “World War III.” The only place World War III might start is in Eastern Europe, if the criminal regime of Putin tries not just to seize all of Ukraine, but to move its troops even further west into countries that belong to NATO. Trump is making the world safer by preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Its nuclear scientists were racing to enrich the store of uranium beyond an achieved purity of 60% to a weapons-grade level of 90%. Had they done so, and the Israelis were convinced that they very close to doing so, within a week, Iran could have had enough uranium for eleven nuclear weapons. What does Medvedev think that Iran, if it had such weapons, would do with them? They have already threatened to destroy Israel; it’s their dearest wish. They have also in recent days threatened to hit Europe with ballistic missiles. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has just gone on state television to threaten its Arab neighbors with the “complete destruction of the region’s military and economic infrastructure.” Why would such a regime as rabid as the one in Tehran hesitate to use nuclear weapons to wipe out Israel, to destroy Infidels in Europe, and eventually, to target the U.S. itself?
#2. Tucker Carlson: Attack On Iran “Absolutely Disgusting and Evil”
The frothing antisemite Tucker Carlson was sent into a rage by Trump’s decision to strike Iran. He was particularly incensed that the American forces were collaborating with Israeli forces, for he has a fit whenever Israel is mentioned. Much of his criticism has centered on Israel’s influence on Trump’s decision to go to war. More on Carlson’s reaction can be found here: “Cracks appear in Trump’s MAGA base as leading figures criticize the Iran conflict,” THV11, March 4, 2026:
For President Donald Trump, some of the sharpest criticism he’s faced in the early days of the Iran conflict has come from once-loyal media figures far more accustomed to singing his praises.
Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly and Matt Walsh are among those to express discontent. It’s been noticed in the White House, which has been playing defense on social media and in interviews.
To be sure, these critics are the minority of the media MAGAsphere, where Fox News’ biggest stars remain cheerleaders. But their words illustrate conservative media’s influence and how valuable it is to Trump when all runs as a well-oiled machine — and, by contrast, how much of a problem it can be if it fractures.
Much of the criticism has centered on Israel’s influence on Trump’s decision to attack Iran. Carlson, the former Fox News star who has built his own independent operation, told ABC News over the weekend that the attack was “absolutely disgusting and evil.”
“It’s hard to say this, but the United States didn’t make the decision here. Benjamin Netanyahu did,” Carlson said on his podcast, referring to the Israeli prime minister….
#3. Zohran Mamdani: “An Illegal War Of Aggression”
Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace.
I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution.
Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.
The full statement that Mamdani put out on the Iran war can be found here.
The “illegal war of aggression” is not that being waged by the Americans and the Israelis. It is, rather, that which the Islamic Republic has carried on against Israel and the U.S., using its terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. And now Iran is firing at targets, many of them civilian, in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan, before any of them fired a single shot at Iran.
As for Mamdani’s “reassurance” to Iranian New Yorkers, Mamdani apparently does not know that those Iranian-Americans in New York, just like the half-million Iranian-Americans across the country, are overjoyed at what the Americans and Israelis have done for them in weakening militarily the monstrous regime that has made Iranians miserable for the past 47 years.

Walter Sieruk says
The message is so important that it needs to be reiterated so that it will be remembered that President Trump did keep his promise to help the people of Iran in their righteous and just quest to establish a legitimate government installed in place of the horrific tyranny they had suffered under.
About President Trump ordering Air Force striking the headquarters of those vicious oppressive despots of that Islamic tyrannical regime, that is the way that those tyrants should be dealt with. Using the power of a strong might of military force against them, and their brutal cruel murderous thugs in uniform, as the who re called the” Revolutionary guards” and the so called “morality police.”
As it had been rightly and wisely said that “Half –measures in war is folly and madness.”
Therefore, it’s fitting to hit them hard and hit for along tine and keep on hitting then until “mullah regime” is totally defeated. The in place in that horrendous tyranny a genuine, legitimate government should and needs to be established which respects the basic human rights of its citizens.
For maybe now a legitimate government will now be established in Iran, which respects the basic human rights of the people. In place of that horrendously brutal cruel oppressive Islamic tyrannical regime that inflected so much misery and death upon the people of Iran.

Walter, I though that the president was going to do nothing to keep his promise–I was glad to be wrong.

Yeah, for a Russian official like Medvedev to denounce other countries like the US or Israel for going to war, it is pretty rich. Not even the most anti-American or anti-Israeli Leftist or jihadist out there thinks that either country wants to grab Iranian land. Yet that’s precisely what Russia has been trying, despite the fact that huge swathes of that Russia are untouched. It’s not like Russia has a lebensraum issue. Also Medvedev – despite being a former president, is he even one of Putin’s potential successors? It would seem that the #2 man in the Kremlin is Patrushev, but he’s even slightly older than Putin. It would be like Chernenko succeeding Brezhnev. But whoever Putin’s successor ends up being, I doubt it’ll be Medvedev
About Mamdani, the less said, the better. How is he even involved – the mayor of NYC has zero foreign policy chops, other than checking out the parking tickets of UN officials? He can’t do his actual job of managing the city, but he wants to butt his nose into foreign policy, which is nowhere near his job description
On to Tucker – I’m glad that the president has finally hit back at him. I saw an editorial by Jonathan Tobin calling on Trump to openly distance himself from Tucker, and looks like he has finally done that. Hopefully, that forces VP Vance too to follow suit, or invite a challenger in 2028. Tucker’s claim that Netanyahu made this decision and not Trump is idiotic: had that been the case, this war would have happened during the 12-day war, when Israel wanted to do it, but was pulled back by Trump. In fact, the blood of the 50,000+ Iranian protesters who’ve died b/w then and now is pretty much on the hands of Tucker, Megyn and Matt Walsh, for making Trump hesitate on regime change in Iran. The last thing any of them should be doing is passing moral judgements

“Mamdani’s wife liked social media posts ‘cheering on’ Hamas’ Oct 7 massacre of Israelis: report”
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, allegedly liked several posts on social media “cheering on” Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 massacre of Israelis shortly after the attack took place, according to a new report.
“New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani spent the mayoral campaign distancing himself from the most radical anti-Israel elements of his leftist movement, but an examination of his wife’s social media activity reveals she liked multiple Instagram posts cheering on Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, assault,” Jewish Insider reported.
“The posts liked by Rama Duwaji, a Syrian-American artist, unambiguously celebrated the terrorist attack, which saw nearly 1,200 Israelis and foreign workers killed, thousands wounded, 251 civilians and military personnel kidnapped and numerous episodes of sexual assault.”
The first post featured in the report, which was liked by Duwaji and shared on Oct. 7, 2023, was posted by “The Slow Factory” on Instagram, which describes itself as “a school, knowledge partner and climate innovation organization” that “center[s] the voices and ideas of the Global Majority (Black, Indigenous, and other people of color) to share their knowledge outside the boundaries of institutions & oppressive systems.””

“Protesters chant ‘Death to America, death to Israel’ at NYC vigil for Khamenei”
“Protesters in New York City chant “death to America, death to Israel,” in Farsi, at a protest honoring late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in New York City.
The protesters set up images of Khamenei on a table alongside flowers and candles, hold flags showing Jeffrey Epstein’s face, and hold signs that say, “solidarity with Iran.”
““We must live like the ayatollah did, with his heart for his people, and we must die like he did,” a speaker tells the crowd.
Iranian counter-protesters chant “USA,” “terrorist,” and “Bibi thank you” from across a metal police barricade.

Where do we keep coming up with this baloney that a working fission bomb requires 90% enrichment purity? It does not. The Little Boy was a mixture with an average of ~84% and used a gun type projectile method of reaching criticality which was very inefficient. The spherical shaped-charge method yields a higher efficiency but requires expertise in the design and simultaneous detonation of charges. Iran has that expertise.
It’s doubtful that all of Iran’s 60% enriched stockpile was in a single location and now under rubble. Nor is a missile required for delivery of a bomb, a truck will do. If a government transition favorable to the West happens, this material needs to be secured outside of Iran.

Medvedev’s remarks strangely echo those of former USSR leaders and show that the Russian leadership have not progressed far from those evil days. Considering Russia is doing the very thing of which he accuses Trump ie.regime change in Ukraine and anywhere else it can be achieved. As did the former USSR. As for Tucker, Putin made him his bitch when Carlson tried to interview him. TC is a horse’s rear end and the only people.who will listen to him are the anti semites and lefties. I don’t like to wish people ill but maybe some of the rockets being showered on his country of residence will give him a scare. As for commnunist mayor of NYC he can talk big but can he achieve is the question?

Trump had negotiators meeting with Iranian envoys for months attempting a peaceful resolution. They had their chance to be reasonable (like that was possible). I heard on Fox News that the president did not act until the Iranian envoys told the negotiators that it didn’t matter what enrichment sites we hit, they had enough enriched uranium already to make something like 100 nuclear bombs.
