One might almost get the impression that the attackers read passages such as this one in the Qur’an and took them seriously: “Make ready for them all that you can of force and of warhorses, so that by them you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy…” (Qur’an 8:60)
It’s also noteworthy that these jihadis in Mali assume that to support Islam and Muslims means to commit murder. Is anyone in the U.S. considering the implications of that?

(Nairobi) – An Al-Qaeda-linked armed group summarily executed ten long-haul truck drivers and two teenage apprentices in late January 2026 in southwestern Mali, Human Rights Watch said today. The killings, in an attack on a fuel convoy, are apparent war crimes.
On January 29, the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen, or JNIM) attacked a military-escorted fuel convoy of at least 40 trucks enroute to the city of Kayes, Kayes region. Witnesses said JNIM fighters fired on the convoy, with soldiers returning fire, and then burned at least 12 trucks and executed the truck drivers and apprentices. The victims’ bodies were recovered two weeks later, blindfolded, with their hands tied behind their backs and their throats slit.
“JNIM’s summary execution of 12 truck drivers is the latest example of the armed group’s depravity and disregard for basic legal principles,” said Ilaria Allegrozzi, senior Sahel researcher at Human Rights Watch. “All armed groups are bound by international law to protect civilians.”…

Could have been Moslems from a different “tribe” or village ,when no unbelievers are around Moslems turn on fellow Moslems. Killing unarmed truck drivers or other civilians execution style is common acceptable thing with Nazis ,communist ,jihadist, third world warlords and the western MSM will say very little about . It is only modern first world armies that are held to a civilized matter of conduct involving civilians in wars that the press gets in a rant when some civilians get killed accidently in the fog of war. In Africa much of Asia ,the Middle East warlords ,jihadist , and others do not conduct themselves according to western cultural standards or law. The west keeps importing unvetted people many could be war criminals or other kinds of people step in this cultural from their time at birth till full adulthood. If you dress a savage in a suit ,give him alot of free stuff housing ,food , health care ,no stings attached he is still just a savage in a suit.
